Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. First evening meal was nice. Well stocked bar
Had evening meal from the specials board on the second night (curry) but wasn't impressed and pricey for what it was. (whenever do you get a proper curry in a hotel anyway, should have known better)

We’ve stayed before, it’s really cosy. This time we were in the twin room. The breakfast is really nice and has a such a relaxed atmosphere and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

Nice location, comfy bed, wonderful breakfast, free parking next to the hotel building. Our special 'thank you' to the staff of the hotel - we really enjoyed our stay and dinner at the hotel restaurant! The food was wonderful and the service was excellent! Would be happy to stay there again.

Staff were very friendly. Nice atmosphere in the hotel, we had a good night sleep very comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding best I've had in a hotel. 👍👌10/10
There was nothing I didn't like at the hotel.

We enjoyed our stay in Portsoy. The hotel is in the middle of town. Perfect for exploring. Food was good, staff were really helpful. Plenty on street free parking by the hotel.

lovely warm, friendly hotel. the staff. the food was amazing too. it’s a very dog friendly hotel and our wee dog was spoiled.
we had a room at the front of the hotel and it was very noisy with the traffic
It was also very noisy in the room with the men staying there while working in the area. Their heavy feet clumping about in the early hours meant we didn’t sleep well.

my son and grandkids live in Portsoy so decided to book a room for me and my daughter to have some famil time. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT, lovely room, very clean, comfy bed, great staff and breakfast was good. Would stay her again. Thank you for i great stay, me and my family had a amazing time.
Alos have to add my 3 grandkids wanted to see our room while at the ice cream shop. I walked into the hotel with the 4 kids 1 my daughter so she could change thinking the staff are going to hate me lol. i was so wrong they couldnt of been nicer and my grandkids are all wanting to get 2 rooms next tine so the can stay. Brilliant.

really nice, warm and welcoming spacious room.
breakfast was nice, but along walk through the pub to space at back of their function room seemed a bit strange

We had the best lamb shank that we had ever tasted (by far). Staff was friendly and efficient. We were given the suite which while old and dated (1859) was clean and spacious. Parking was easy and location was excellent.
The only gripe is the shower. The water pressure was very low and the temperature moved from ice cold to scalding (eventually found a "just warm" sweet spot).

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Food was good.
The only downside was the shower! It went from one extreme to the other. I was freezing cold or boiling hot basically unusable. Room 12 family room.

This was a wonderful stay at the Portsoy Station Hotel. The room was more than adequate and was comfortable and matched our needs. Attention to detail was also paid with the accommodation. Moreover, the breakfast was delicious, served with attention to detail, and there was plenty of choice. The option of spending lunch and dinner in our host’s care was also welcomed. Elsewhere, as we do not drive, the hotel owner went out of her way to find us taxi transport to the wedding that we were to attend, four towns over. This, coupled with excellent customer care and service leads me to recommend this hotel highly. Great staff, great care, great position. We will be staying again.
All was good to excellent
