Love the location and the house. Hot tub was very nice in the big back yard with a great view.

We had a large family group for a wedding and this property was perfect. Lots of space for us to spread out, convenient to a market and other amenities and easy access to both Jackson and Teton Village.
The Outpost crew was easy to work with and communicate with via text throughout our stay.
A better equipped kitchen would be nice, and had some challenges with climate controls, but otherwise had everything we needed! Also would be nice to have a recyling bin for guests.

First rental experience went great. We were a family of ten (10) and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Tje hot tub was great in yhe evenings after long day on river or in Yellowstone. The house was very comfortable for our group of ten. We would definitely use OutPost Jackson Hole again.

Awesome property we saw lots of wildlife in the backyard to include moose, bear and a fox.

The one pro I can give this place is the location--the location is great. The pictures are highly misleading and this “recently renovated” house realistically has not been touched in any meaningful way since it was built in the 1970s. The structural things fall into the “is what it is” category because we were really there to take advantage of all Jackson and Grand Teton/Yellowstone have to offer and I’m really not keen on insulting someone’s home. What was absolutely unacceptable was how filthy the house was. As mentioned in an earlier review, just walking on the floors made feet turn black. The kitchen counters had crumbs all over them, there were (and my guess still are) spilled coffee grounds in the pantry, there was food stuck to the majority of the dishes, the garbage cans were full when we arrived and had no room for any additional garbage, there was dust on every surface of furniture, there was actual poop stuck to the side of one of the toilets, and looking under the beds or at any of the vents or returns in the house should not be done by the faint of heart as they look like they have not been cleaned since the 1970’s. A 2-year-old playing with a Swiffer would do a better job cleaning and we were willing to let our 2-year-old do just that except there is not one cleaning supply or broom provided. The last thing we wanted to do on our vacation at a luxury house was to clean the kitchen and wash all the dishes. Had there been any kind of house cleaning supplies or a broom provided, we probably would have spent our first day there cleaning the rest of the house because it was so grimy, but there was nothing of the sort provided. To add insult to the squalid state of injury, the bedding consists of a comforter sandwiched between two sheets, and the comforters in at least three of the rooms had noticeable stains on them. In the interest of fairness, I will mention that Outpost did offer to have cleaning staff come clean after we told them the state of things; however, we did not feel comfortable having them come while we were not in the house. Overall, while our stay was amazing due to family fun and the inherent beauty of the nature around us, it was beyond disappointing and disgusting to kick-start things with a filthy “luxury” accommodation that, at best, rates as meh even at its cleanest.

Smaller than pictured, needs maintenance
We were a group of six adults staying here. We were surprised to find that the house is MUCH smaller than it appears in the photos, which are misleading. The bedrooms are all upstairs, which is very strangely laid out. It’s kind of a maze of and we literally were getting lost the first couple of days. On a scale of 1 to 10, cleanliness was a 5. For example, the floors were dirty and made our feet black if we went barefoot. One of the bathrooms was unusable because half the shower door was missing. One of the legs under one of the king beds was broken so the bed wasn’t uneven. Multiple burned out lights. Towel quality very poor - thin and rough like our gym towels. Overall adequate but hardly a luxury experience

We loved figuring out where the moose were each morning (mother and offspring). Our favorite was when the baby moose was just looking in the window one morning. Clean property, nice neighborhood, everything you need in the kitchen to cook. Had a wonderful and comfortable time here. Would come again.

Great house in a great location.
This is an amazing location that is a short drive to everywhere. The home could use a little general maintenance, but nothing that would prevent us from staying here again.

beautiful home, great location and fantastic communication
We absolutely enjoyed everything about our stay in the Aspen House. The home was beautiful, clean and had every single thing you could have needed for a multi-week stay (though we, sadly, only had 4 nights here!) The fact that they include all bedding/linens, common toiletries and many kitchen / "necessity" items is a bonus, too, as not all HomeAway properties do. The house is fully stocked with every single kitchen item you can possibly think of which made it feel like we were in our own home which is fantastic for cooking and enjoying without the stress of wondering if certain kitchen items are there! The communication from Outpost from the second we made our reservation all the way through checkout and beyond was fantastic. They were very quick to answer any questions we had and provided detailed information immediately regarding their expectations/the agreement and check-in process. We asked for a potential early check-in and while they couldn't (understandably) guarantee it, they made it happen anyway! The hot tub was the perfect temperature and while we didn't get to see any wildlife except a deer in the year, it's a beautiful property and was relatively private. We truly felt at home here. The location is fantastic. You're a short 15-20 min drive to "downtown" Jackson Hole but minutes from a small grocery store and liquor store, yet you can drive a bit farther to the main grocery store. We also loved the fact that we could see mountains from the backyard and were near many different access points to the Grand Teton National Park. We would 100% stay here again and would also rent through Outpost again, too! The only thing we want to mention is that the cleaning & service fees are high (not sure if the service fees are made by HomeAway or Outpost) so that does increase the cost quite a bit when booking but for us, it was well worth it! We said many times throughout our trip that we couldn't have asked for a better place! Oh, and the wifi was also fantastic, as were the many TV's so it would be fantastic for a large family or couple / multi-family trip. We will be back!

Family ski trip.
We had a great time at this Outpost location. There were 7 adults and 2 kids. The place was roomy enough that we didn’t get on each other’s nerves! The kitchen was great. They had a slow cooker so we were set! There was an issue with the roof leaking and the Outpost let us know before we got there. They did not think it would affect our stay. I was dubious, but they were absolutely correct. I’m appreciated their openness. We had a great time. I’d love to come again in the summer.

Great house, perfect location
We loved the home and it couldn't be better located. We could walk to the incredibly high-end market and wine store. Pearl Bagels in Wilson is just don't the road and a "must!" Moose regularly noshed on twigs and bark in our yard. The house is about equidistant to Jackson Mountain and Jackson Hole. We rented a car, but Uber is very available as well. Regarding the house, it's very spacious and well appointed. The beds were super comfortable. The views of the Teton mountains from this house are breathtaking. We give this house an A rating. The folks from Outpost also need mentioning. They were so helpful and responsive! The one reason that kept me from giving a 5 star review are the showers. While the house is nicely renovated and super beautiful, the showers have yet to be given the attention they deserve. All in all, highly recommend this home - and super highly recommend Outpost!

Home away from home!
The house had all the space and amenities we required for our stay. We enjoyed the comforts of home and having a home base to return to each night after exploring the area. (The kids especially enjoyed the moose family that seemed to make themselves at home 2 doors down from this house...we saw them there every morning when we ventured out and again when we returned in the evening!) While we were located on the outskirts of town, we were only a few short minutes from dining and shopping.

Great Home for a Large Group
We had a great stay at the house with between 10 - 12 people at any one time. The house lays out well offering some separation between bedrooms for those that want it and the common areas are comfortable for accommodating a group. The hot tub is great after a day of skiing. Well located between Jackson Hole mountain and the town, making each an easy drive. The Outpost team was helpful with anything we needed. I'd happily return.

Clean and modern
Always a pleasure to rent a home and have it surpass expectations. There were 8 of us in the group (3 couples and 2 singles) and that worked very well as we all had our own rooms. Beds were good and the general set-up of the house worked very well for a group of our size. If we go back to Jackson, this will be our first choice.

Great Basecamp for a week of family activities
This house is perfect for 4 or 5 cousins and their spouses to converge on Jackson Hole and run around reliving their child hoods. The moose that came through the back yard on multiple days was a nice touch.

Comfortable, well located and furnished great......
The house was well located to Jackson Hole, it was in a nice neighborhood, and well furnished. The coordination to get into the house was a little difficult, but finally worked out with little delay. Seems there was a controlled entry at a particular time.
Only addition might be a few larger sauté pan for cooking, otherwise the house is well equipped for a large group.
I would recommend this house for future ski trips or family get togethers.
