Great location in a charming characterful village. We were met by the great host who helped us up the short, but steep, path to the property. She visited again during our stay to check we were ok, clean jacuzzi and remove any rubbish. Also gave excellent recommendations for places to visit and how to get around. Fabulous views from rooftop terraces, but a rather steep stairway to get there. Very spacious property for the 2 of us and very well equipped.
All great

Excellent host, location, views - simply perfect. Everything was clean and perfectly prepared for a visit. Host/owner was checking whether we need anything and was helpful with everything.

Lovely location and views from the property! The hosts are so sweet and we felt really well taken care of. They also helped with luggage and guiding us to the property as it was a little tricky.
Definitely prefered staying in Pyrgos over Oia or Fira, but we did rent a car. Street parking was easily available, but I would imagine it may get more difficult in July & August (we went at the end of May)
As other reviews mention, there is a short, unevenly paved slope to access the property. Otherwise no real cons.

Great size for our family of 5, nice views across both sides of the island. Very clean and well equipped. Lovely village setting. Anastasia was very helpful. Loved all the outdoor spaces

For us, the perfect location and accommodation. Away from the crowds of Fira and Oia but still in a traditional hill village with a short walk to restaurants and village shops. Lovely little lanes and views.
The host was very hospitable and helpful but did not intrude. She got the balance just right.
The accommodation was spotlessly clean, and facilities had everything we needed.
The traditional village house was lovely with a nice courtyard and rooftop sundeck.
As we were here in March/April and the weather was not so kind, we needed to use the heating. It worked perfectly and kept us snuggly on the rainy days. A very lovely comfortable stay.

Excellent location, fabulous views and in the middle of a nice, quiet Greek village. So comfortable with modern amenities, thoughtful host and amazing family service ( from the host ) with cabs on call. They were on the dot, friendly, polite and super punctual.
Nothing. Just that we had difficulty in carrying our luggage up the steep climb to the house ( though Anastasia went out of her way to help us carry some of it herself ). If there was a partial incline on just one side of the steps, it would be a breeze to just drag the luggage up. Basically a "handicap" friendly slope on one side would be wonderful for those who cannot manage carrying luggage.
They did help us to bring it down the slope while checking out ! Much appreciated.

Our stay at the top of Pyrgos hill was amazing. The view was fantastic, our host was really helpful and readily available if we needed anything, and the whole place was super cozy and well taken care of. Many people flock to Fira to be on the cliff but the value you get from staying here makes it well worth it.
The only slight inconvenience was the mirror and sink in the hallway leading to the bedrooms. The hallway is somewhat narrow and we always felt like we were having to navigate around eachother. But everything else was great !

The view was superb. Calm and quiet surroundings. Helpfull owner. Warm hot tub.

Away from the mayhem of Thera and Oia, in the quaint, quiet village of Pyrgos, high up in the village with spectacular views of the Caldera area from afar. Wonderful villa, well furnished and appointed, spacious and comfortable. Friendly and responsive host. Steps away from several fabulous restaurants. We had fantastic meals at Franco's and Rosemary, with plenty of other choices, and a bakery down in the village.
Nothing!

Beautiful view, great location, clean and family friendly.

We did not know how wonderful Pyrgos was going to be when we stayed here. It is stunning and authentic and way better than Fira in my opinion.. away from the crowds. Beds were super comfy except for the 2 cots. You get a massive rooftop with the most stunning sunset views and beautifully stocked kitchen. All the little things like coffee and water and jam and honey that were left were such a thoughtful touch. Customer service was exceptional.
Just the cots - a little bit springy.

Traditional Santorini house. Dome like rooms. Newly renovated and very beautiful property. Excellent customer service from the owner - Anastasia. Exceptional view of the island from the property. Over all it was great.
The jacuzzi was not available but it was due to the winter season. Its understandable.

We were not aware the house and the entire village were on the top of a hill: so it was a surprise to discover we have to walk through a serious number of stairs, and we had 3 kids and luggage. But when on top the view was amazing and the mood was the authentic magic I was looking for in Santorini. We took incredible pics of the sunset from the roof, actually.
There is just one bathroom and they put it in between the living room and the bedrooms so you have to cross it whenever you have to go to the bedrooms. Not the easiest and most relaxing way to have a shower or other things.
