A lovely place to stay.

Clean and welcoming in a quiet location. The dinner and breakfast were excellent. Both the curry dinner and the takeaway breakfast for our safari tour were hearty and very tasty.

Posizione ottima per il Safari!

La stanza è molto vicino all’ingresso del parco. La colazione molto abbondante e di qualità!

L’acqua del bagno non funzionava sempre. Siamo arrivati verso le 20.00 ma la cucina era già chiusa. Se intenzionati a cenare avvisate con anticipo!

Great Safari tour, even better Hotel and the best host.

Great stay! We really enjoyed being here. The host was so friendly and very welcoming. We arrived quite late but they still made some delicious dinner for us. They also organized us a Safari tour, which was phenomenal and we can highly recommend it. The rooms were clean and we had hot water and a good AC. Yummy traditional breakfast after the safari tour was served.

A lovely hideaway for 1 night with super hosts who provided ushosts

Lovely couple who went out of their way to make out stay a great experience

Was not near any town with shops or restaurants so you were limited to what you could do on an evening other than stay in your room but this did suit us as we were only staying overnight for the safari

Leuk klein huisje, ruime kamer met een goed bed. Koffie en thee en koelkast zijn aanwezig op de kamer . Avond eten was heerlijk, bij de accommodatie Eigenaars waren erg vriendelijke. De door hun geregelde Safari was goed .

The host was very friendly and courteous. The cabanas are very beautiful and clean in the middle of green. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The safari we booked through the accommodation was spectacular and the guide had a lot of knowledge.

Lovely stay, amazing food

Such a nice and comfortable little cottage to stay in! Nice hammocks on the terrain to chill. Also: the food! Very good dinner and breakfast. People were very friendly and very easy communication in English.

The facility is cool and it is located near the elephant transit home (about 7 min). We took a halfday safari tour. It was great. I suggest to have this experience if you don't hurry. It starts at 6 am and finishes at 1 pm. You will explore the udawalawe national park on the jeep (toyota hilux). The breakfast will be arranged in the park. The price for this tour is 70 dollars per person. It is absolutely worth it. Owners are hospitable and polite. You may also ask to wash your clothes. The breakfast and dinner are awesome with a big portion.

We stayed here for just 1 night, but it was perfect. The owners were so welcoming, they arranged an AMAZING Safari in their jeep alongside 2 other guests. This was really good value and our driver was great at spotting the animals yet respected the animals and their space. We paid for a lovely buffet dinner where the owner had created a variety of tasty dishes and breakfast also enabled us to try a traditional Sri Lankab sweet breakfast. They were incredibly kind and let us use the room past the official check out time while we waited for our taxi. The guest house is also a close walk to the elephant transit home which was a plus too!

The couple that own it are lovely, the food was delicious- we recommend the buffet dinner. Good aircon which you will need and a fridge to keep water cool. The dining area and the whole place in general were pretty.

Amazing place to stay

Amazing rooms very spacious and comfy beds, AC and a fan. Food is delicious for breakfast and dinner. Close to the national park and walking distance to the elephant transit home.

Great local base for exploring Udawalele National Park!

The owners were incredibly kind and served an amazing homemade Sri Lankan buffet dinner (including dessert!) for only $5. They arranged a safari with their driver who was very diligent in trying to spot as many animals as possible. Overall, great value and a wonderful spot from which to explore Udawalele National Park!

Lovely dinner after a private safari and comfortable cool room.

Loved the hospitality and casual nature of this small family run business who were affected like all by the pandemic. The food was amazing and a nice change from all the fried dinners I have been eating. Nisala has attention to detail and this place was excellent value for money. They arranged a 4 hour safari for us where we saw a lot of elephants, birds and 2 mangooses. There was AC and a fan, mosquito net etc… I was very comfortable.

best value for the money we had so far on our srilanka tour

A very warm welcome with a drink and all the informations we needed for our stay. Its a small beautiful place very central, busstation and the elephant transit home easy to reach by walking. we did book the early morning Safari with the resort and everything ws working perfectly on time. Also i would recommend you to eat in the resort dinner! the food was delicious from a buffet for a very good price.

Would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a fantastic safari and an idyllic jungle stay

OH MY GOODNESS I cannot emphasise enough how lovely our stay was in this small rural idyll. We were the only people staying in the resort during our visit and we had everything catered for perfectly. The incredibly kind owners treated us to a delicious home cooked buffet which was by far some of the best food we ate on our trip. we organised a safari trip with the resort and it was perfect - the guide knew so much about the flora and fauna of the national park and we really got our money’s worth. Could not recommend this entire experience more.

We stayed there for 2 nights. This resort with 3 beautiful and clean bungalows is run by a super nice young couple. They also arranged the safarl for a reasonable price for us. You can book the dinner option without any concerns. First there is not that much arround but also second it is very delicious! We would describe it as local authentic Sri Lankan food suitable for Europeans and Americans (not too spicy ;) ) All the best to the owners!

Superb stay at Green View with amazing Safari. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay at Green view safari resort. We were welcomed with a drink and early check in. The bungalow was perfect for our needs and very clean and tidy with good Air- con. The lovely couple who own the place were so welcoming. We had a superb home cooked evening meal with choice of 4 curries. Good mini bar choice also. They arranged a brilliant safari for us which was great value and with a really knowledgeable driver. We highly recommend for a 1 or 2 night stay.

Just everything was perfect. The food, the facility, the room, the cleanliness.

We received a very friendly welcome. There was a welcome cocktail right away. The room was even air-conditioned on our very warm arrival day. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had booked half board and breakfast and dinner were fresh and tasty. The family was available all the time and very friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend a stay there
