After several stays at Apartamentos Venta Lanuza, the verdict is in - it's the best value for money in the area. It's nothing fancy, but it's not supposed to be - but when you stay at "Cala Lanuza" apartments, you are guaranteed direct access to the beach, clean, spacious apartments, and the tranquility of falling asleep to the sound of the sea. Despite being located in a residential neighborhood - with some other hotels nearby - there are plenty of things to do: besides the Lanuza beach, there are some hiking opportunities at the end of av. de l'Alacantí. Even more, the apartments are only a few steps away from the "Venta Lanuza" tram station, which will take you to Benidorm, Alicante, or El Campello. The hosts were great, all problems were solved immediately, and they provided very clear check-in instructions. The additional bonus is the fact pets are welcome here (although not allowed on the Cala Lanuza beach, or to walk around the gardens loose. But no fear, several dog-friendly beaches are located within a short car ride: El Xarco, Punta Del Riu or Barranç d’Aigües). The kitchen was well-equipped, wifi never failed, and for those bored of sea views, there are plenty of international channels on TV. The apartments are a perfect camp for everyone - no matter what you are looking for in your next Meditteranean trip.
Those who expect perfect conditions might be a little disappointed, as you might find an occasional crack in the wall or a bit of limescale in the (very spacious) shower. They don't bother too much, and it gives the sea-side charm.

All you need, beach is beautiful!

Cleanliness and the kitchen
I put among the conditions when I searched on the website that I wanted the air conditioner and it was not available and the weather was hot and they turned it off. When I asked them if the air conditioner was turned off, they did not answer me, but when I asked them where to leave the keys when I left, they answered me within minutes. I will not think of coming back again!

My family stayed here in December and the appartement was clean, warm, and cosy and had everything they needed. For the price, it exceeded their expectations. The direct access to the small beach was very nice. When we arrived the self-check-in key had not been put in the key box, but despite it being Christmas the friendly owner came with it very quickly. All in all, they were very happy with the stay.
It's not the most central or lively place and though you have both a small bus and light rail nearby connecting to El Campello, Alicante, and Benidorm, you'd be better off with a car.

If you like a quiet place far from a noisy city, that is an option.
There are only accommodations nearby, no markets and shops, so you should rent a car to go there. Anyway you have to rent it to explore the beaches.
Host very responsive. Gives accurate informations.
Next to the beach, although I do not prefer this type of sandy beach.
Should precise GPS location given in booking, as it points smth like 100m away.

Super clean and private.
Maybe a bit far from supermarkets but you can always drive.

The apartment is taking you straight to the sea. What would you like more, than to sleep on the sound of waves?
A blue touch inside, cosy and nice, having a patio with a view.
Bonus: the children had a real playground inside the block.
The parking is inside the courtyard, where the access was limited for outsiders.
Nothing.

Literally a stone throw from the sea with a fantastic view overlooking the ocean from the garden. A wonderful private sandy little beach in directly adjunction to the apartment complex.
A tram station just a 5-minute walk away. The tram takes you both to Alicante & Benidorm and the ride is very beautiful as well as truly enjoyable in every way.
The only thing that was acceptable with the apartment was a large refrigerator as well as a new and large nice Smart-TV on which one could connect to ones own Netflix, Amazon Prime etc.
The two-bedroom apartment was very dark & glommy. It had only one window, with a broken jalousi (which was partially pulled down) which made the apartment even darker. To get some daylight, we had to keep the main door to the apartment open.
The apartment was in an incredibly poor condition. The bathroom was the worst we've ever experienced, and had a broken toilet and cupboard that was falling apart.
THERE WAS NO HOT WATER!! it was at its best lukewarm!! In addition, the lukewarm water only lasted for half a shower, due to a tiny water heater.
The apartment barely had any kitchen utensils. For example, there was no corkscrew opener nor a strainer.
The apartment was ice cold at night, even though we used the heater and had all the bedroom doors open to allow all warm air to enter the bedrooms. The beds lacked duvets, the only thing available was very small very thin children's-sized covers.
We only had one key, which was a problem because the gates to both the beach and the apartment complex were locked.
In addition, the apartment was untidy when we arrived. It would have been nice if someone had made an effort and cleaned up inside drawers etc., as it was now, for example, the bathroom drawers were full of hair.
We have neverbefore experienced such poor accommodation, even though we have travelled a lot around the world. And I've never written a bad review before. Luckily we stayed only 5 days in the apartment, otherwise we would obviously have switched to a better place.
