The rooms are very very nice and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They organized a transport for us to Ella and even gave us a breakfast for free, because it was my birthday nect week, which they noticed just from seeing my passport - very lovely.
Also comfy beds and very nice views into the nature through the huge windows!
We had a bit of bad luck with the guests in the room above us, which were very loud and jumping around in the night. The isolation in the rooms is not that good, so it wasn‘t good for our sleep.

It was a wonderful experience to stay in this boutique hotel, and what added to the magnificence of the professional staff present, they were very hospitable and provided assistance when requested, especially Miss Angel

the location and view
this pace locks the hotel door with a padlock around 9 pm. and there’s no way to go out in case of fire or an incident occurred in the hotel.

- the boutique feel
- the interiors
- the spaciousness of the rooms
- the walls / flooring was paper thin leading to so much noise even if someone would walk or talk in the neighboring room

Cheriz Villa Boutique Hotel in Tea Mountain View, its a warm and welcoming atmosphere, excellent service, and stunning views of the mountain range. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed, and the onsite restaurant serves delicious local cuisine. The staff are friendly and professional, and the hotel is conveniently located near attractions, shopping, and dining. We highly recommend Cheriz Villa Boutique Hotel for a wonderful stay in Tea Mountain View. Try the Sri Lanka menu for dinner. The young chef is too good.
Nothing we can think of

Beautiful little boutique hotel just outside of the town. Geeta and her team were absolutely amazing hosts who couldn’t do enough for us. The food options were absolutely amazing!!! stunning views from both our rooms which were very spacious. The beds were super comfy!!!
was a little overpriced.

The bed and pillows were super comfy, shower was great, the staff was welcoming and answered our questions.
Value for money - overpriced for what you get. The food was subpar yet quite pricey. View was nice, however was quite rainy and foggy when we were there.

it is quite far from city center

not a lot . just good comfortable bed.
- no lift and no common toilet in lobby
- lights were not wired properly - for example, when switching on the light, it doesn’t come in properly and when it’s off - the light comes back on itself
- staffs didn’t know how to speak English - for a hotel meant for tourist, it was a major let down.
- the rooms advertised was not exactly how it is - we paid more for the higher floor and it was second floor and made us think that if it was just normal room it would have been on the ground floor same as the lobby
- there were renovation outside which wasn’t informed.
- we weren’t told in advance that we need to order our breakfast in advance in order for them to prepare
- the price is quite ridiculous for the room. We paid the same for a five star hotel in Kandy!

Big, beautifully decorated rooms and a comfy bed! Nice views over the tea plantations!
Very friendly staff!
We had a fantastic Sri Lankan breakfast here!
You hear everything from the other rooms and when people walk in the stairs. There was some other guests up at 5.30 keeping us awake.
