Avoid staying in the hot months

Nice layout

The room was humid and stuffy due to inadequate air conditioning. It could definitely use a fan of some sort because the room never got cool no matter what temperature you set the unit on.

The only thing and it’s really not a negative, they have security lights which stay on all night, which I appreciate. I had a corner room so it had more windows, again great views. The blinds were not room darkening so if you like a really dark room to sleep in, take an eye mask.

Anniversary stay

Location to river, ease of check in/out process, hotel amenities and decor, serene environment.

Two outlets in the room didn't work. Coffee pot was moved to the floor outlet for use.

The perfect place to stay in Southport!

Ideal location, near downtown Southport, right on the water. Room were comfortable, had functional kitchens, and beautiful balconies.

It was an okay place.

The place was just okay. The pool was okay. People in office were nice and friendly.The room was clean.

For the price we paid I thought it could have been better. The beach area wasn’t much. There was construction going on. Someone used the toilet and it wasn’t flushed when we came in the room.

Relaxing

The rooms were clean, all the staff were friendly and it was fun looking for shells on their small (approximatley 50 yards wide?) river front beach and watching the ships go by. They have a nice pool and patio area.

It would be nice to have drinks and snacks in the office to purchase or a drink/snack machine located on the premise. The shops aren't far, so as long as you know this ahead of time, you can purchase these things elsewhere and bring them back to the room.

This hotel made our dream wedding come true!

the property was clean and set up beautifully! We decided to have our wedding ceremony on the small beach they have, and it was more than we could have ever expected!

I loved everything about the property.

Enjoyed the stay and we’ll be back.

Location was very nice. Pretty good view. Not every room really has a river view. That said, once I told the staff I specifically booked for that, they made sure we had a good view.

It’s a bit pricey but still reasonable.

We had a great stay and will return when we visit Southport again.

Very quiet and an easy location to the center of Southport. The units are new with a kitchen and a small table to sit and eat. very comfortable bed and couch for relaxing. The balcony offers great views of the river and the Oak Island light house. The kitchen is convent to grab a bite to eat when you don’t want to eat out.

The only thing that I would have liked to have is room darkening curtains. We like a dark sleeping room and it was a little too light

The room was very clean and had everything needed and more. Very good value.

TV seemed a little small for the room and could use a guide of some sort to help navigate the channel structure.

It was quiet, close to town and restaurants. Very clean and with the kitchenette very nice to have a relaxed breakfast.

There wasn't much I didn't like. Would be nice to have a TV channel guide. Trying to find channels was a challenge. The mattress could have been firmer. A little too bouncy for me.

Everything. Enjoyed having a full refrigerator with an ice maker. Small balcony, view of the river and the quiet.

Construction early morning in unit below. A bit annoying, however it was only one day.
