About this house rental

Our home is the perfect spot for a getaway with friends, relaxing family vacation or corporate retreat. Our goal is for our guests to feel like they are staying in their own second home rather than an impersonal rental.

**Every March we close the home for major upgrades. Kitchen remodel in 2022. Hardwood floors throughout and new furniture in March 2023.**

Upstairs great room provides tons of space to entertain while cooking, dining and relaxing - all with amazing views of bodega bay, bodega head, ocean and Tomales Point. You'll find lots of comfy nooks to curl up and read a book, nap or watch the ocean with a wood fireplace insert to top off the cozy factor.

Deck with hot tub, more comfy seating, dining table and propane grill to enjoy the outdoors and amazing ocean views. You are steps from the club house where you can golf, dine or walk down the steps to the beach. We've also supplied beach bags with towels and chairs that can be taken to the beach.

You'll find an excellent entertainment system - 65" QLED Samsung Smart TV in the great room, flat screen TV's in both upstairs bedrooms and we provide Xfinity TV and high speed internet service. Downstairs, a second living room contains a pool table and TV.

The kitchen has a gas stove and high end appliances. We have stocked the kitchen with tons of accessories including baking dishes, serving bowls & platters, blenders, rice cooker, etc.. We also provide the basics for cooking (most common spices, oil, some basic condiments and a few other items (flour, etc.). We use the home often and don’t want to pack everything, so we keep it stocked with the essentials for our and your convenience.

Master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, queen guest room and guest bathroom are upstairs, downstairs is queen guest room, queen+twin guest room and third bathroom. In every bedroom, you'll find high quality linens & pillows, extra towels and personal touches. The downstairs living room has double doors that can be closed for privacy and used as a 5th sleeping space with use of our queen inflatable mattress. Mattress and additional bedding is provided based on occupancy of 10+.

Please note - base price is for the first 6 guests. There is an additional charge for each guest over the base to reflect the additional use & related maintenance costs (cleaning, laundry, water, etc.). This allows the price to be affordable for smaller groups and a bit more for larger groups to cover our additional costs. Accurate guest count is a condition of your rental agreement.

The Premises are equipped with exterior security cameras. Cameras are installed primarily as a theft deterrent and to avoid police dispatch for false alarms. Security cameras should not be relied on for personal safety. No cameras are placed inside, or with any view of the interior of the property. Security cameras may be used to verify compliance with rental policies. They are there for your security, as well as ours.

We loved the location for the proximity to golf, the beach and neighborhood walks with our dog. Plenty of room for five adults. Well stocked kitchen for eating in. Very responsive owner via text for a very minor issue that was fixed right away. Highly recommend this house.

This was by far one of our best family vacations. The location was perfect and the house had everything we needed. The owner was super helpful. The deck furniture had a lot of spider webs and there was an odor in the kitchen and downstairs bathroom that we couldn't seem to get rid of. Overall great!!

We loved the whole house, the set up, the cleanliness, the array of kitchen utensils, baking sheets, etc. The view was breathtaking, and the skylights, a great touch. Proximity to the beach was a huge benefit. We found plenty of food options close by. The hot tub was enjoyed, as was the pool table. The WiFi worked perfectly, and the. Tv channel options provided access to the sports games that the group wanted to watch. We hope to stay again next year and rent a second home, next door, if available. And the beds were super comfortable! The host was very easy to work with and communicated all the necessary info. We felt we got value for our money.

My family and I stayed for the Christmas holiday. There were nine of us total plus a dog. The property has fantastic views of the bay and I there is a nice 3-4 mile run out to the end of the jetty. A 5-10 minute walk to the main beach where there were other folks also walking their dogs. The house was specifically decorated for Christmas with a lighted tree and more nice touches. Thanks for a great stay.

This property is lovely and well appointed. Everything one needs is there--including a well organized drawer of spices! Everything is clean and smells fresh. The walk down to the beach is just a stone throw away. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. I highly recommend this property! :)

The views!!!! Cannot emphasize enough. Location is perfect for a short walk to the beach. Comfortable, clean, big enough for 2 families to share. Comfortable beds and well appointed kitchen. You won’t regret booking here.

Our family had a great time. Enjoyed hot tubbing on a deck with great ocean views, golfing, playing pool, short walks to the beach. Great to have such a great place dog friendly. That really made it work for the entire family.

We had extended family come together ranging from age 7 to 74 and all had a great time. Great location from which to explore the beach and neighboring towns. A few small hiccups when we arrived (e.g. a blown fuse) were dealt with very quickly by the responsive owners. Overall this feels more like a friend let you stay in their house while they were away than just some rental property that the owners don't really care about. Other plusses: hot tub on the deck, fireplace, high end appliances, lots of board games. Great vacation!

We had an incredible time during our stay and can easily highly recommend this house. The house is in a great location being right across the street from the golf course pro shop, snack stand and restaurant. It's also walking distance to the beach with a very short drive to restaurants and shopping in Bodega Bay. The house was extremely clean when we arrived. It was very well stocked with plenty of towels, beach towels, bathrobes, lots of blankets and many spices in the kitchen. All the beds were very comfortable. The highlights for us were the panoramic windows overlooking the bay, grilling dinners, the hot tub and the pool table. The owner responded very quickly and was extremely helpful in resolving any questions that arose.

The patio is a relaxing spot to watch the sunset and enjoy your beverage of choice. The beach is walking distance from the home. This was a very good place to stay with a great view of Bodega Bay and Harbour. Four separate bedrooms were a must for us and the beds offered excellent comfort. The host was also very responsive whenever contacted. There were many nice extra touches around the house with a well stocked kitchen. You see some wildlife too, including deer, great herons, and even 2 foxes. Especially liked the deck as a place to relax and eat.

We had a lovely visit to Bodega Bay. As my older son and wife have a new baby we wanted to be pretty close to the Bay Area but still feel like we were getting away. The rolling hills of the western Sonoma coast dotted with dairy farms and then the cliffs leading to the Pacific Ocean were perfect. The house has magnificent views from the main room and the proximity to the golf course and the beach were a plus (I love being able to walk places and not always have to get into a car to go somewhere). The house was exceptionally well-stocked, clean, and comfortable (don't get me started on an East Coast VRBO that left us with a half a roll of toilet paper and told us mid-flight that we needed to bring our own linens : ( This was the exact opposite with a responsive owner and a house that felt special without being extravagant: like a good friend's guest house on loan to your family. (It didn't matter for us, but the only caveat would be that the main living area is on the second floor if someone has an issue with stairs although the pool table room, 2 bedrooms and one bathroom are on the first floor.)

This house was beautiful and fully stocked with anything and everything you might need. We were here celebrating my mom's 70th birthday and really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and very comfortable. The beds and pillows made for a great night sleep. We were able to walk to the beach right from the house.

We had a fantastic time at this house. This is the perfect house and location for a relaxed time at the beach looking at the ocean, so peaceful! The house was wonderful, very well stocked with everything, very clean and very specious for 2 families (7 of us). We’ll be back!

The house was very inviting. However, the downstairs bedrooms had a very musty smell. We couldn't stay in the one room, because the smell was so strong. We really enjoyed our stay and loved that it was just across from the golf links. Thank you for letting us stay in your home.

This house was the perfect place to spend a weekend with my college friends. It has an expansive view of the ocean, and the sunsets were amazing. We have rarely stayed at a place where the owner has paid so much attention to details/amenities - kitchen with spices, tea, enough glassware; bathrooms with lotion, make-up remover, make-up towels; robes for the hot tub, games...and Shandra was so quick to respond to a few questions I had. We will be back!

We had the most amazing stay! the home was perfect for my group of friends. We ate and played games and enjoyed every minute. The beds were super comfortable as well. We also noticed that the kitchen had absolutely everything we needed for preparation of our meals! Loved our stay!

View of the bay was excellent and about a 10 minute walk to the beach which involves some stairs and hills, weather was excellent. The kids were fully entertain TV reception was excellent we are very happy! Thank you Shondra
