Everything was really good except when I first got there there was some confusion about the pet policy. In the book it says no pets allowed at certain locations. I was unsure if this property was that certain location as my daughter-in-law was on her way with a dog. Online it said pet friendly, it needs to be more clear, not only online but in the welcome book.

Very good location and comfortable home.

This cabin was wonderful, very cozy, and had all we needed. The only negative was that both surrounding homes had ongoing construction going on from 8am-8pm for the entire week which was too bad for privacy and noise.
I would rate the property itself as a 9/10, it could use new towels. They were clean but need to be replaced as I think they’ve just been used too many times for too long.

The house is as described and was comfortable. The highlight is being out and about. There is so much to do in the area, the house was really only needed for sleep and a few dinners. Some of the furniture is warm and well used but again - it really didn’t matter because we spent most of our time out. Wish the view of the lake was better, but at least we could see it from the deck. We had an overall amazing vacation.

Great house for our family of 4 and dog. Property management company communicated effectively and were great to work with. Great peekaboo lake view on patio. Air conditioning amazing. My kids loved all the art and animal themes throughout house.
On side note- there isn’t much room to unpack for food in pantry or clothes in dressers.
Other than that- a really incredible 10 days in Tahoe in this home.

The view is as promised, and the home is great. It's a mountain home so don't expect immaculate, but it's very clean, extremely well equipped, and nicely decorated. There's some neighborhood and weekenders noise, quite tolerable. The communication with the hosts was PERFECT. Two small issues were immediately addressed, and the response was surprisingly prompt and pleasant. Word of caution for more mature travelers, it's set on a hill, with a steep driveway, and a lot of stairs inside. I'd stay again in a heartbeat.

The Reece Peek home was very nice. It is in a great location - walkable to the lake. The large deck had a lovely view of the lake and offered a quiet place for morning coffee and an afternoon cocktail. The bedrooms downstairs are good size all have king beds. The primary bedroom upstairs is very large and provides a desk area. The kitchen is well appointed and bar seating is a plus. It was very clean. The air conditioning was a godsend! The only challenge we met was the very steep driveway and the garage that was very tight for our large SUV. We would definitely rent this house again for our next Tahoe vacation.

Best Pet Friendly
A real hidden gem!! We were able to access state parks, beaches, and even coffee and donuts just a short walk away. Dog friendly areas make it nice for us pet owners.

Nice Cabin w/ all the amenities
We had previous booked another cabin, but the owner had to cancel based on plumbing issues. So I quickly checked the dates we needed and found this great Cabin. It’s close to beautiful beaches and not far from Safeway and Coffee Connection. Book it, you’ll be glad you did.

We selected this house because it had 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and allowed dogs. We were very pleased with the size of the house and accommodations. Perfect for a vacation with our two adults kids, their spouses and an 18 month old Labradoodle. If you are looking at this house for a vacation stay, we have a couple of suggestions. 1) If you plan on cooking, bring your own knives and food storage containers. 2) The house listed as having AC. This is not true. The heatpump pumps air in but it does nothing to manage the temperature. If it was 82* outside, it was 82* in the house. We had it running 24/7. We kept the windows open all night (and it gets much cooler at night) moved fans around, shut blinds/windows as the sun moved around house during the day. This helped make it more comfortable. 3) There is cat stuff everywhere. Not cat hair, just cat decor: EVERYWHERE. A little creepy for us, so we tucked some of it away while we stayed. 4) The cleaning company left a load of dirty laundry in the washer, hair in the both showers, used Kleenex behind the bed and nightstand. Just needed to be a bit more thorough in their cleaning. Overall, we would stay there again. We really enjoyed the quiet neighborhood at the end of our full days.

Family Vacation
Overall we really enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for us, our two adult kids, their spouses and one 18 month Labradoodle! We really appreciate the owners allowing pets. There was ample seating in the living room and at the dining table for all of us. We have a few suggestions: 1) if you plan on cooking, bring your own knives and food storage containers. 2) The house is listed as having AC. This is not true. It has a heat pump that blows air but does nothing to control the temperature. If it was 82* outside, it was 83* inside. We moved fans around, opened/shut the blinds/windows as the sun moved around the house. We kept ALL windows open all night so the cooler night air could help keep the temp inside down. 3) There is a lot of cat decor- a lot. It was a bit creepy for us, so we gently put some things away during our stay. 4) Cleaning service could have done a better job: dirty laundry in the washer, hair in the showers, used Kleenex under bed and nightstand. Nothing huge. We really loved the location as it was a quiet neighborhood to return to after being out and about all day long. It was also nice having access to a two car garage. We would stay here again.

We had a great summer in the Reece house! The location is perfect - walking distance to the Skylandia Beach Park, beautiful neighborhoods and very close to all the hiking in Burton Creek State Park (1 mile walk to the trailhead). We saw bears and a coyote on walks there!
It was a warm summer and the Reece house has A/C, so that was awesome! Also, having access to the garage is great to keep your cars out of the weather.
The only thing negative is that the driveway is very steep - especially an issue in winter (ice) and for low clearance cars (we scraped my wife's Camry each time in/out).
Overall, it was an awesome place in a great spot!
