Perfect place for our two week stay.

The apartment was great. Very clean. Beds and pillows super comfortable. The location was perfect. Lots of restaurants and shops near by. Safe area. The kitchen was well appointed but we didn’t cook anything. We stayed for 2 weeks.

It was a ways from parking and I would suggest pulling up to Porta Borsari to drop off your bags as that’s closer than the parking garage. Also, would be helpful to have an entry table for keys etc.

TOP Phantastischer Aufenthalt in Verona

We have been to Verona many times, always at the Hotel Gabbia D'Oro. That means we are spoiled. This time we liked to stay together, because the visit to the opera was a gift for my mom. So I found the Lion Relais de Charme and booked it. What can I say, it was fantastic, from the first contact it was a pleasure to communicate with Christian, the host. I was worried about the parking, but all no problem, the parking is very after and just behind the arena to find. Very short walk to the beautiful apartment. The decor is phenomenal, modern very styled through and just feel good. Key was given to us on site, communication very quickly via WhatsApp. You sort of fall out of the apartment door into the Centrum. To the arena 2 min. The 3rd sleeping option was super, a sofa bed with very good mattress, everything nicely and cleanly prepared. There are 2 rooms, so we could also sleep undisturbed. Special mention is the full fridge with wine and drinks and snacks and all at very fair prices. Christian and Marina, we will be back! Thank you for this great stay!

Clean, spacious apartment in an excellent location! Would highly recommend...

This was a really lovely apartment in a fantastic location to visit Verona! Our two children (aged 11 & 12) loved it here too! Christian, the host, was friendly and welcoming and met us upon arrival with the key and showed us around the apartment and gave us some info on restaurants and taxis. The beds and pillows were really comfortable. It was very clean with plenty of towels and an iron & hairdryer. The air conditioning worked well. Wifi & Netflix.

Some really small details but a second mirror, a tea towel and a larger kitchen bin would all be useful. Just be aware there isn't an oven, just a hob. It didn't matter to us as we didn't cook there but something to bear in mind.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay for the one night to experience an opera at Arena di Verona.

The apartment was totally pristine and in such a central location.

Great stay in great spot in Verona, perfect for attending a performance at the Arena

Excellent location, 5 min walk from the Arena. Spacious flat. Very clean and quiet. Comfortable bed and also couch. Had a great sleep. Landlord was accommodating and allowed a later than 10:00 am check out (10 am is very early, in fact).

Decoration in the main bedroom was somewhat pretentious, but still apartment was very convenient and was comfortable. An entry with door code could be implemented.

Amazing apartment in the centre of Verona!

The apartment is located extremely central, very close to all the main attractions of Verona. There are numerous restaurants and bars around, and the city is extremely walkable, so I don't recommend renting a car when you come here. The place looks incredible, it's very modern it is in a very secure building. You can see that the owners decorated it with great attention to detail.

One thing I wasn't extremely happy about is perhaps the kitchenware. There is virtually no cutlery, at least a knife would've been nice. And the second thing is the size of the bin/trash. It was extremely small so we basically had to deposit all the trash in different bags around the kitchen. But these are both tiny details and we would definitely come back here despite these things.

Fantastic host, fantastic apartment. Would recommend to everybody.

The host was exceptional and went above and beyond to make our 1 night stay perfect. Location is right on the highstreet and next to the main sight seeing spots but somehow remains quite and not too loud. The apartment is exquisite with very comfortable bed.

Had an issue getting into the door due to a faulty lock but the host drove all the way back to help us out and advise on how to twist the key a certain way to make it work in the future.

Great location, expensive, no luggage storage

Position is great. Very clean.

The website description says there is luggage storage - we chose the hotel also for this reason. However, when we asked, we were told we had to free the room by checkout time. After some calls we got the ok to leave the luggage in the room until 11:30 - but this didn’t work well for us as we had to carry our luggage with us when visiting Verona in the afternoon.

Exceptional

Amazing apartment. So clean and luxurious. Fantastic location just minutes from the Arena. Great bathroom shower. Loved this apartment. Christian was super friendly and easily accessible.

Nothing really. Spent a little more than we wanted to but that is our fault for waiting to book a place at the last minute.

Spacious apartment, great location

The communication with Cris was super easy, the apartment was very beautiful and also perfectly clean, the bed was very comfortable to sleep in, there was also free coffee and small snacks, all in all we liked our stay a lot.

The only minor downside was that the balcony was pretty small, which was not obvious when we booked - but in the end ok for us.

Super location. Comfortable bed, slept well. Christian, our host, was very helpful.

Shower took 10 minutes to heat up and didn’t heat up at all on two occasions. Would like milk for coffee.
