Great location very comfy

Location, dry comfortable bed, quality linen and towels, open fire

No pillows on the sofas had to use bedroom pillows No milk - after 20 years of holidays in NZ - I think this might be the first place ever not to leave a tiny carton of milk in the fridge- so strange to break with that NZ custom! Kindling and fire starters would have great

Cozy home with plenty of room for a family. Spectacular views, lots of walking/cycling tracks.

Dent in wall, needs to be fixed. Unable to tell the reception at Wanaka Motor Inn as no one was attentive on front desk when I dropped keys off. Would have been nice to have had a few more tea towels. Please discard old ripped ones!

A great three nights. Managed mount iron one day. 2 of the group climbed Roy’s peak and 2 did lake Wanaka lookout. Fitte

The accommodation was great and easy to walk into town which we did for dinner one night.

Excellent stay for snow holiday

The location is excellent, close to the lake, close to the township and quiet street. Parking right at the front door, convenient at loading and unloading ski gears/ kids. Well equiped kitchen. The heating was superb, wall panel heater, woodfire as well as a heat pump. The bed was comfortable.

Wifi had to be purchased separately, and the connection was a bit slow and unstable.

This accommodation was very homely, it had all that was needed to have home cooked meals. It was warm and in a great location.

The lodge was lovely and we really enjoyed being there.

Lovely to be in a whole house and the open fire was terrific.

I really wasn't sure how to collect the keys so had to call. It would've been good to get a text about the keys a day prior to arrival.

Fabulous location. Lovely homely feel. very comfortable beds.

No wifi, limited channels on TV (needs a smart TV). Very squeaky floorboards.

There seemed to be someone staying at the back of the property as they came into the house as we were getting ready for a wedding.

Exceptional

Pembroke Lodge was very comfortable for our whole family to have an incredible stay in Wanaka. The lodge is really well positioned only a few minutes walk from the town centre and a minutes walk to the waters edge. The rooms are big and bathrooms and kitchen are really well appointed. Parking right out front is an added bonus. Pembroke Lodge is an excellent size with great facilities for a beautiful stay.

Lovely house in great location with nice views.

Lovely house with close proximity to park and lake. three good sized bedrooms and nice kitchen living area. great bathrooms.

The kitchen does not have to basics needed to cook and store food. for instance no lid for steamer, misshapen thongs and broken spatula. Some cooking oil, plastic wrap and laundry powder would have been great for the stay.

Wanaka is an amazing place to stay. The house has a great view and suitable for a family.

The view from the main bedroom and lounge was amazing with views of the snow capped mountains. The heating was great with open fire with plenty of fire wood, underfloor heating in both bathrooms and plenty of panel heaters. The linen was good quality. The showers were great, good size and plenty of hot water.

The Wifi was not provided free which these days is very unusual in a house of this cost per day. The floors were very noisy with squeaky floorboards. The fireplace was full of ash and there was no room in the bin provided to place the ash. The wood pile was very low and had to be restocked from the house next door. The kitchen had tea, coffee sugar, salt and pepper and nothing else. When you supply a full kitchen there should be a few more of the basics to cook a meal. We bought oil, paper towels and several other basics and left them behind for the next people. A few other things let the property down.

we were very happy with the property and would definitely stay there again

We liked that it had a full kitchen, laundry and a nice lounge with fireplace. it was close to the main road to get to the mountain and close to town for the evenings.

The car port is very close to the back property and we had a big front yard which made it confusing for the rear visitors who kept parking in front of our car port. it was handy to be able to use it when we came back from the mountain with three kids and also to stop the car from freezing overnight so that was frustrating when we couldn’t use it for two of our nights.

Comfortable and Cosy

It was a great location, only 10 mins walk to restaurants/food trucks/new world and same distance then to the Wanaka tree. Very spacious and the beds were comfortable. Has a washer and dryer which is handy if you stay later on during your holiday. Off street parking also in front of the property. Would definitely stay again!

Excellent location, attractive decor & luxuries for apres ski - a deep bath and underfloor heating.

The location is excellent, a short stroll from Wanaka town centre and the lake. The house was very well set up with kindling gathered for us and fire set up in case we wanted to light it. We didn't as the house was very warm, completely double glazed. There is underfloor heating in the bathrooms, and a lovely deep bath, perfect for after ski excursions. The house exceeded our expectations - we loved it and would stay there again - hopefully soon!
