Great place to stay
Everything was great , clean place and close to the lake. A/C was cold just what we needed after a long day of fishing. This was my 5th stay at the camp and will definitely stay in the future.

Same as advertised
Everything was great. The property is accurately described as a trailer house getaway. My father, brother and myself were on a fishing trip to Sam Rayburn and this accommodation was perfect for our purposes. The only issue my father had was the bathtub was slow to drain, causing it to get slippery. Other than that, the place was great!

Father and son bass fishing trip
Clean, simple, adequate, quiet. Lots of rules, poor bed matresses. Will stay again due to cleanliness and location.

Spacious mobile home
I made our reservations the night before I needed to stay. I stayed for two nights alone, then my husband and two friends joined me for two nights. The mobile home was very spacious and clean, and the owners were kind enough to provide an assortment of DVD's. I would recommend any of their accommodations for those looking to stay on the Sam Rayburn Reservoir! Also, there is a small gas station/convenience store with a full kitchen and excellent food within walking distance. The beds and furnishings were very comfortable and while I did not use the kitchen, a full kitchen is available with everything you might need to prepare a meal.

Roomy trailer for 4 old fishermen
We had a great stay. The trailer was well suited for 4 fishermen. Plenty of room and a well stocked kitchen. It has good boat parking, outlets for battery charging and a fish cleaning station. Our only complaints were the poor cell phone service(which you have no control over), the hard water, and no TV service. Otherwise, we had a great stay and will consider staying there again. Thanks!

It was a very cute area, the cabin was above my expectations.Park and recreational lakefront nearby.
My friends and I stayed here for our spring break, the cabin is very clean and spacious. Super comfy and feels like home. We were povided everything we could possibly need, and if they didn't provide it the owners made us aware we would need to bring it on our own. We enjoyed the surrounding area, I called the owners and they told me of some places around the area, where we went swimming and kayaking. My friends got locked out of the cabin and they came and opened the door for them. The owners are very polite and gave generous hospitality, answering any questions we needed and then some! Loved the feeling of comfy and cozy at the cabin. 10/10 would reccomend for a stay! I will DEFINITELY be coming back sometime soon!

this places was not great, below expectations even for the cost.
This place was not bad , at all. BUY they did not provide sheets, any kind of towels. Which for the price would have been fine, if they would have told me before . the first night we stayed , two of three bedrooms had bugs in them. not just a couple , a serious live bug problem . I will not be back to this place or camp. Unless I am giving a serious explanation . Unacceptable .

Nice little place for a quick getaway
We enjoyed our quick weekend getaway at "Big Fish". The owner was very easy to deal with and answered emails immediately. It is a rustic getaway-no wifi, no TV, very sketchy cell service but great for family fun and conversation! The trailer was neat and exactly as described, there is a really nice swimming area at San Augustine park less than a mile away. My family had a good time and I enjoyed the "no electronics" weekend!
