This home is nestled in a peaceful wooded area near a picturesque lake and comfortably accommodated our group. The property was clean and well-maintained upon our arrival, and the kitchen had all the essentials we needed. The three bedrooms and two bathrooms provided ample space for our needs, with the lower level bedroom and bathroom offering extra privacy.
The inclusion of a washer and dryer was a convenient feature that allowed us to pack light and do laundry as necessary. Despite having neighbors nearby, the property felt private and tranquil, thanks to the surrounding woods.
The location was perfect for day trips to various nearby attractions, including Boston, MA; Stowe, VT; White Mountain National Forest; Quechee Gorge, and Woodstock, VT. There were also plenty of nearby trails, lakes, and waterfalls to explore.
The property owner Trish was easy to communicate with and responsive to our questions. The check-in/check-out process was straightforward and suited our travel plans well. The rental provided good value for the price.
In summary, this Newbury home was a comfortable and convenient base for our adventures, and we appreciate Trish for making our stay enjoyable.

Quiet, serene place-- we could hear acorns falling in the woods-- keep looking for moose but the only one we saw was a metal one on the property.
Trish was very responsive to my questions and concerns. Property was well equipped for our needs.

Great affordable housing with lake access. Friendly neighbors!!!

House was quaint and cozy. As described. Easy walk to lake. For us, it was a perfect distance in between the two places in VT and NH that we had plans to visit. Gotta eat at Bubbas while your there! They have good takeout pizza too!

This was a cute little home. Nice location. Driveway is steep so take caution. The upstairs bathroom is a little tough to flush but it does work. House was nice and clean except the fridge didn't appear to have been cleaned. All the directions and information was great. The owner was fantastic with communication.

Great location and space for a family ski trip

We arrived after dark and we’re delighted by the number of fallen leaves. The driveway , ramp, deck were all camouflaged by the crisp and beautiful leaves.
The interior was delightfully cozy and the windows provided airiness. The kitchen had an upscale coffee maker, dishwasher AND a microwave, once we found it.
It was a delightful getaway with lovely woodsy atmosphere.

We loved everything about this house. Everything has its place, and the instructions Trish left were spot on. We spent a lot of time out on the gorgeous deck, and loved our time down at the lake. The swimming was fantastic! We hope to come back here next year!!

Wonderful location, perfect place to stay for out of town guests on graduation weekend. Lake view was better than we imagined. Beautiful sunsets seen from the deck and dock. We took advantage of the fire pit and new patio! It was a little chilly at night. Would definitely stay again! Thank you, Trish

We loved our stay here! It was perfect for the four of us (2 Adults, 2 kids). We came up to go skiing but had warm weather and we got to enjoy the house and the beautiful deck with views of the lake. The beds were so comfy! We will def come back. Trish was a pleasure to work with.

This was a great place to stay for a weekend away. Beautiful location, easy check in and out, host's are responsive. We enjoyed our stay! You will need to run to the transfer station before you check out with trash and recycling, leave time for that!

Place was just what we (couple with two college kids) needed. We have family in the area and were visiting for Thanksgiving. Trish was very accommodating and had beds made up for us since we were getting in very late. We will stay again!

The perfect place to stay for peace and quiet! 10/10

Property was as indicated - however, beds were not made upon our arrival. Linens were placed on bed duvet and bedspread were on the bed. I had to make the bed and in doing so noticed stains on the duvet, also questioned what cleaning had been done because of this. We had booked one week and there were two bath towels for use. In addition, taking the trash to the dump was very inconvenient due to the days and hours of operation. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in the area but would prefer not to have to make beds and could have used more towels.

Everything was great and the property was spot on except we found a few long, stray hairs on a sheet, a pillowcase and two in the tub. The room deodorizer that they use throughout the house is really strong. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, in a peaceful, relatively clean, nice house. Thank you very much.

Really liked this place and location! Lots of room and deck space for entertaining. Beds were comfortable, had all the essentials for a short or long stay.
The trash and recycling need to be taken to the dump, which caused a hiccup for us Would be helpful to have name, location, and hours of dump in the information book. Trish was superfluous helpful about this, though!
Also, while there were bunk beds and games, I wouldn't say it was great for kids under 5yo. Would have brought a lot more kid friendly stuff if we had realized.
I'd definitely come back with older children or as a friends retreat!

We loved this home so much! Trish was an amazing host. The property has the absolute best location. So easy to get to Mount Sunapee and gorgeous lake views. We spent the winter alternating between skiing down the mountain and hiking across the frozen lake. Everything is so accessible from this home. The home itself had everything we could have needed and was so clean and well-maintained!

Enjoyed a few days here with family to go skiing. Loved the location and the house was as described! We walked up to the lake covered in ice and snow and it was magical!

Beautiful area with lake view, quiet and peaceful. House was clean, had nice setup, great view and close to the mountain for skiing

Our family relaxed in this cozy house for a couple of nights. The kids enjoyed having their own space in the bottom bedroom and we slept well in the comfortable king bed. Area was very quiet and we liked walking down to the lake dock with coffee and exploring the sunset trail across from the fells 5 minutes away. Also recommend the bog walk in New London !

We stayed for more than a month while remotely working and schooling and it was a perfect environment. Lovely dock on the lake, cabin surrounded by trees, and a short drive to many great hikes. Wifi allowed us to do our work, including when both of us (it was me and my 5th grader) were on zoom at the same time on different floors (which was also a sufficient sound distance). Well equipped kitchen, lovely deck in the trees, TV with full cable, full laundry, everything we needed.

We enjoyed our weekend stay at this house. A few minor cons:- shower head should be replaced- TV is a bit quirky to operatePros:- Excellent communication with owner- Online description was very accurate- Nice neighborhood- Plenty of room in the house. We hiked Mt Sunapee, and enjoyed a few local restaurants. Unfortunately, we tried kayaking on Lake Sunapee, but it was incredibly windy so we didn't get to enjoy that very much (next time!).

My boyfriend & stayed the weekend for a race and the location was perfect. Unseasonably cool weather so not able to take advantage of the lake, but had the option with the dock.Trish was fantastic & highly recommend this property. Clean, comfortable & quiet.
