Alojamiento tranquilo y trato exquisito

El desayuno, muy completo. Podías hacer dulce y salado y pedir fruta si te apetecía. Nosotros hacíamos visitas por las mañanas y volvíamos a media tarde, yendo directamente a la piscina. Servía para relajar y resfrescar de los calores de agosto.

He echado en falta que no hubieran mosquiteras, lo que impedía que pudiesemos tener la puerta del balcón abierta y, por tanto, teníamos que tener el aire acondicionado puesto, con el consiguiente consumo energético. Tener mosquiteras y un ventilador de techo, pueden ayudar a ser más sostenibles.

Es caro para lo que ofrece en temporada baja

La habitación era grande y la señora de recepción agradable

En el alojamiento ponía que había comidas y cenas pero como era temporada baja no había nada en el pueblo o aldea solo había un bar y no tenía casi nada para comer , tuvimos que coger el coche para ir al pueblo de al lado a comer y a cenar

Just an excellent stay, Silvia is the perfect host, left feeling refreshed to travel more.

Like walking into a tardis. The property is situated in a small hamlet just outside Villafranca del Penedes. Do not let that put you off. If you want a peaceful stopover for a few nights it is perfect. Silvia the host is excellent. Nothing is to much trouble. She can and will recommend restaurants, vineyards and anything else you need to know. If you do not want to go out, just enjoy the location and Silvia will arrange a wine tasting on the property. She is also an excellent cook.

Perfect for relaxation and wine lovers

The host was very friendly and served us a very good breakfast. The B&B is very charmy and the celler is amazing. Nice trip to relax and visit wineries arround.

Not many restaurants around the location if yiu want to have a drink and leave the car.

Good place to relax after a long drive.

The owner, Mrs Silvia Roig is a very friendly host and a good cook. A place to come back to. My wife and I loved it.

A lovely place to relax and eat some homemade food

The place has character and the owner makes an effort to meet your needs. Breakfast was fantastic and so was dinner. Although my stay was a business one, I realised there was a pool for whoever fancies a little dip. It’s very quiet at night so having a good sleep is almost guaranteed. Getting my invoices right was important and paying was very easy.

Parking can be a challenge. The roads are very narrow and it was take a few streets away to find a good place to park.

Superb

Silvia was very friendly and helpful. We were all on the same floor together (we were a group of 6 friends) it was so friendly and welcoming , The cheese and wine tasting we did was amazing. the staff super helpful. the swimming pool is small, but perfect for a group of friends to hang out. I would definitely come back. I am wheat intolerant and vegetarian and Silvia catered to my special dietary needs.

Very good

I liked the location - a quiet street in a small town adjacent to Vilafranca. The room and bed was large and comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and obliging.

The quality of breakfast and dinner was good but expensive.

A nice little hotel. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms with air-con and a nice pool area. Free parking is available on the street outside.

The pool could be somewhat cleaner. The breakfast is ok, but as it costs extra one could expect some nicer local produce (cheeses, cold cuts).

Absolutely superb little hotel in Penedes.

What a fabulous little hotel run by lovely people! We wanted a day off driving on our long journey to the south of Spain and we couldn't have picked a nicer place. No need to go out and look for a restaurant, the dinner in the hotel was superb, as was the breakfast! The staff were very attentive without being intrusive. The swimming pool and terrace are delightful and made for a very relaxing couple of nights. We absolutely will stay there again whenever we pass through Penedes.

There was a power cut in the middle of the night which meant the emergency lights came on in our room and wow are they bright! Impossible to get back to sleep for an hour while they were on and we were getting up very early for the long drive south. Not the fault of the hotel but something they need to consider.

Comfortable but out of way lodging in Penedès wine country.

Large comfortable room in guesthouse with large comfortable bed and couch. Relatively quiet street -in Spain you cannot escape the noise of motor scooters , but with the windows closed it is tolerable. Big plus - lots of electric sockets in the room. Mini bar fully stocked. Very nice shower. No restaurant but owner and staff provide tasty, simple and reasonably priced food - don't forget to request in advance. Fantastic wine selection - the owner is a veteran of the wine industry, gives wine tastings and has a large well stocked cellar. Owner and staff very, very friendly, gracious, interesting and helpful.

Location in small village close to Vilafranca, it took me several days to get used to all the one way streets. Parking on the streets a bit of a problem, owner has small garage for small price - if you take that option bring a small car! Internet in room does not work with iPhone and at times also not with iPad - however works fine with PC.

Quiet, comfortable place to stay with character and charm

The home cooked food in the hotel was delicious and great value. Very homely feel in the hotel due to the small number of rooms and the fact that the staff were happy to accommodate when we wanted dinner and breakfast. Breakfast was great with a selection of fresh breads, cold meats, yoghurt, OJ, eggs and good coffee. The town of Moja is small and doesn’t have any restaurants that we could find, but Villafranca del Penedes is a 10 minute drive and had lots of places to eat. If you are looking for a place with charm and character, a little off the beaten track and a welcome change from chain hotels, Cal Roig Hotel is a great choice.

Fabulous small location with a very personal approach.

Very gracious reception and proprietor offered to make dinner (wonderful paella, plus much more) for just us 2 ,much earlier than usual Spanish dinner time. This is a newly remodeled property where all appointments are of top quality. Rooms are spacious, clean and extremely well-designed and very practical. She took the time to show us the entire property and her wine tour and tasting business set up on the site. She also provided private parking so we didn't have to unload everything. Small, quiet , peaceful, hillside town near Barcelona and the freeway was a wonderful retreat. Because of the graciousness of the proprietor and the accommodations we had a fabulous experience and would recommend it to anyone.

Can't think of anything to improve. This small town has several one-way streets, so the site can be a little hard to find. Just follow your GPS.

Nice suprising hotel

A very nice hotel behind a door where you find a fantastic pool area and fantastic rooms. The service was very good and we had dinner that was delicious with good local wine. The room had air condition witch was perfect and we had a big terrace with a lovely view. The had a marvellous wine cellar.

A little bit hard to find the hotel.

Amazing!

We loved how sweet and accommodating the host Silvia was. We very much enjoyed the pool area and it's the perfect location to explore Penedés from. We rented an e-bike (through Penedes eco tours) to go through the vineyards and visit wineries which was a super fun experience and highly recommended to everyone!

An escapade in a lovely winemaking village

The hotel is a perfect escapade situated in lovely vinemaking village. We’ve had a great rest at the place and a delicious dinner. Sadly we could only stay for a night but will definitely be coming back for a more tranquil visit
