small , intimate, not too busy, rural, friendly but not over bearing , off grid, hot tub, eco friendly, dog friendly, walks nearby,
could have been a few more kitchen utensils (pots/pans) , but just a suggestion

We loved everything! Really comfortable beds in the Beehive pod, everything we could need was provided. The hot tub was heated for us for use from 5pm, we enjoyed this after eating every single delicious item in the BBQ hamper you can purchase, this was the same for the breakfast hamper. There were even smores and extra marshmallows for the children to enjoy over the firepit as the sun went down. The field is large and enclosed which kept our dog safe, she loved having the space to explore! We would highly recommend and would hope to return in future. Annette is a very polite and helpful host :)
Some of the cutlery and equipment were not clean for use, so we needed to wash these ourselves, not really the hosts fault, as previous occupants should leave clean for the next people.

Annette went out of her way to welcome us, lighting up the log-fired hot tub in advance which stayed warm without a fire from 5pm until midnight (in October) and giving us guidance on Hawick (a well-equipped sizable town) only 5 minutes drive away. The Borders' scenery is excellent and our accommodation, as well as including everything for a stay for a family of 4 also had a patio and barbecue. There is an amazing amount of furniture crammed into the building but everything, including the beds was very comfortable and clean.
Our stay was short but we found nothing to criticise.

such a lovely pod with everything you need in it
nothing not to like

The experience of glamping, hot tub was great. Breakfast was delivered on time for us to cook and enough provided for all the family. The beehive was very sweet and had everything you needed for a stay outdoors.
Very fussy details and not to bothered but the tap was a very slow runner (I understand it’s camping though), the hot tub centre bit could do with being weighted down as whenever you moved it would be squeaky, made it not as relaxing. Road noise more than I would like again not ruined the stay though

We were told we had be upgraded yet the cabin was absolutely hurrendous we were told it included a hot ton yet on the 2nd night we were told if we would like to use it again we had to pay £30 the front door had a huge gap all the way round which made the pod absolutely freezing cold

Just back and can honestly say we loved every minute, the accommodation was perfect and immaculately clean we enjoyed a lovely couple of evenings in the hot tub watching the moon rise and the stars , our hut was warm for it being October I expected to be chilly but we were warm and comfortable throughout our stay, we had our 4 month baby and our dog and slept very well the hut had everything we could possibly need it was well equipped and the hosts were always on hand friendly and helpful, we cooked tea on the Bbq and enjoyed the log burner outside on am evening , we've really enjoyed our stay a relaxing break away from it all we will definitely be returning .
There was nothing not to like

Absolutely everything
Everything was exceptional including the staff, the only issue is booking.com advertised that the hot tubs come with the booking. They don't, they're an added extra.

Host was pleasant and very helpful, Everything was ready and in place for us arriving, Pod was very clean as were the toilets and showers, Host lit and managed the hot-tub until it was ready for us to use, Beautiful location with loads of visitor attraction within a short journey, Host also invited our daughter to hand feed the lambs. Can’t fault the location, pod, facilities or host.
Didn’t stay long enough but will do next time we visit

What total bliss we had - we stayed in the beehive for one night - there was more than enough room for the two of us! We booked the large hot tub by our beehive which is a must we were in it until 11pm in peace and quiet it’s was bliss! We had use of the gas bbq outside of the beehive and a great seating and fire pit area. The showers are by the main kitchen area and we’re very modern and clean- the owner was very pleasant and helpful. We would stay again without a doubt

The cabin was perfect I couldn’t fault it. The hosts couldn’t do enough for us. The breakfast hamper was spot on and it was just a lovely chilled weekend. Took my dog and he was happy to just roam the area. Already booked up to go back again.
