About this villa rental
Wouldn't you like to get away?
The wind is howling and the snow is piling up on the icy roads. Temperatures are below freezing point and icicles are forming on your nose.
There is another world just a few hours away. A world of sunshine and sandy beaches. Warm breezes and sparkling blue azure water. A beautiful Villa awaits your arrival on the Dutch side of St Maarten. A few kilometers away there are exquisite French restaurants. Not to worry, everyone speaks English.
Book NOW on our web site and check for your dates on the calendar - if you don't see them available, better book for next year!
At your service
As soon as you arrive at The Pearl we want to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We offer a full concierge service if you desire that extra level of comfort during your stay. Lewis, our villa manager is here to facilitate an extra special experience, booking boat trips, private driver service, booking tables at the best bars and restaurants, showing you the best beaches and waiting on you around the island.
You'll be met at the Villa by our dedicated house staff, Rosie and Renwar, who will help you check in - as easy as bringing your bags inside and grabbing a drink from the fridge! We also offer amazing experiences at the villa such as a private chef, massage, yoga, bar tender and musicians, all from our trusted partners. Please ask me or the Lewis for rates and availability. Grocery shopping can also be taken care of for you by Renwar’s comprehensive stocking service.
As you make your journey you will no doubt marvel at the breathtaking views of the island, but rest assured that these sites are nothing compared to the environment in which Villa Oyster Pearl finds itself. Resting just above the bay of Dawn Beach, it barely takes a minuet to walk down our garden steps before you reach the white sandy beach and turquoise waters of the Carribean Sea. Facing due east, a cool sea breeze flows constantly through the Villa which creates an air of relaxation and refreshment unlikely to be found anywhere else.
Plants, Peace, and Privacy
Since Hurricane Irma devastated the Island in 2017 we've been working flat out to restore the Villa to its former glory. We got there in 2019 and we've gone even further since! The mature gardens have proven the perfect nursery for new palms, banana trees, coconut trees and frangipani, offering you excellent seclusion. Experience the tranquility of sun bathing in complete privacy around our luxury 12 person marble hot tub or on our sun trap side terrace. For complete privacy please advise Lewis so maintenance and cleaning staff can be scheduled to suite your requirements. Dawn Beach is blessed with beautiful white soft sand, playful surf for boogie boarding and one of the most absorbing snorkeling locations on the island, and is shared only by a select few Villas and one Hotel.
The facilities at Oyster Pearl include a fully equipped kitchen, barbecue, pool, Hot Tub, snorkel and beach equipment, free wireless internet, and Internet TV - if you can bear looking away from the incredible panoramic balcony view!
The villa is rented out on a group size basis with more rooms becoming available for free the larger the group size. The Cottage is available for groups of 9 and larger and Studio B available for groups of 13 and larger. The cottage and studio are available to smaller groups with a surcharge.

Time spent with family is away from home is very enjoyable, we were so blessed to have David & Lewis share their Villa.

Villa Oyster Pearl provides the perfect location for our anniversary celebration. The home offered 8 adults all the amenities & comforts of home including a well stocked kitchen, comfortable furniture & bedding. The owners thought of everything including pool toys, nice beach towels, sunscreen, beach chairs, & multiple sundews for privacy. The views from the home are stunning & made even better while having a cocktail by the pool. The location is perfect for experiencing both sides of the island with ease. Villa Oyster Pearls owners & staff made checking in a breeze along with attending to any needs we had during our stay. If you have an opportunity to stay in this beautiful home, I highly recommend it.

We spent one fabulous week with our adult children and grandchildren at Villa Oyster Pearl. Between the main house and the adjoining guest house, each family unit had plenty of personal space to be private with enough large spaces to spend time gathering together. Waking up and having breakfast on the beautiful patio while the kids played in the pool was priceless.
The owner was easy to contact and responded to any questions in a timely fashion. He arranged for Paco, a local driver, to pick up our parties at the airport. He was also available to take us to stores, beaches and restaurants. Paco was a reliable and safe way to get around the island.
Views from the house of the bay are stunning. The walk down to the beach had many steps but it's well maintained. We stayed during the summer, when the sargassum bloom is at its height, making our private beach unswimable. However, the adjoining hotel rakes their beaches daily and has a beach bar, which we utilized most days.
Our family made beautiful memories on our trip to Villa Oyster Pearl, and we would definately stay again!

Our stay was a perfect celebration in which Lewis not only helped us plan but became part of our family! We had everything we could possibly need, including plenty of space for 14 of us to spread and a well stocked kitchen! Housekeeping was great, Felicia prepared a delicious Caribbean meal one night and to our delight Lewis entertained us with his beautiful music! He is quite talented and turned us all on to acoustic music! We could not have planned a better week of jet skis, 4 wheel tour of the island, scuba and so much more, without Lewis’s help and suggestions. Well done my friend and thank you again for a lovely time of celebration with our family!

My sisters and our daughters enjoyed Oyster Pond very much! The villa is so comfortable and Lewis made our venturing out easy and enjoyable! We plan to return in 2023!

My husband and I stayed at Villa Oyster Pearl for 7 nights and it wasn't nearly enough. From the absolute gorgeous views, the comfortable furniture, relaxing bedrooms, modern appliances and bathrooms, to the relaxing pool and hot tub; this Villa did not disappoint. The rooms were all cleaned thoroughly by Rosie, the housekeeper. The communication with Lewis was on-point. He also provided some great recommendations for restaurants and set up an amazing boat charter for us! The property is in a safe area with a security gate for peace-of-mind. We had Felicia the private chef cook us dinner and brunch - she came highly recommended by Lewis and was well worth the reasonable cost! Everyone on island was so friendly. The Villa was PERFECT. We highly recommend Villa Oyster Pearl for anyone looking for relaxation and comfort. We hope to come back again soon! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

If your a big scuba or diving fan this is a great place to be. Right next to the Marina. Centrally located so you can get anywhere on island easily.

Between the beautiful views of the ocean, the amenities that the home offered, the concierge services/communications with Lewis, the wonderful catered meal by Felicia and sweet, Oliver..... we could not have asked for a more memorable family vacation to St. Maarten!
While on the island, we took four wheelers out for the day and saw the French/Dutch scenery plus visited the bird sanctuary located just 5 minutes away from the Villa. We spent so many mornings at the Bread & Butter eating delicious French pastries and dining at the Oasis. Maho Beach was an attraction that will not be forgotten!
We have been spoiled by the amazing gifts that the island has to offer. For anyone looking for a home that offers all the necessities of "home away from home", Villa Oyster Pearl should be your first choice. Thank you, David and Lewis (and Oliver) for sharing your home with our family. Our family has been blessed by this vacation and all the memories made.

Outstanding!
Villa Oyster Pearl is spetacular. David has created an oasis with in his property. Walking into the home, there was a candle lit and fresh flowers. The décor inside the home is lovely, light and airy. A cozy atmosphere, wonderful layout, very comfortable beds, and the large and extra soft bathroom towels makes you feel right at home. Plenty of kitchen utensils, pots, pans along with a large gas stove to make appetizing meals from the food you can purchase at the near by grocery store which is stocked with lots of choices. The ocean view is fantastic from almost all parts of the home, inside and out. Many wonderful, little details, too many to mention. All of this plus, the kindness, knowledge, recommendations, and flexibility of David made our stay extra special.
Upon arrival, we had a fresh, home-made meal prepared for us by Gabriel. The tastes were superb and all of our five kids, ranging in age from 9-18, loved it. You are able to arrange other meals made by Gabriel, throughout your stay. If you are looking to dine out, there are many yummy choices for restaurants on the island as well.
So many things to do on the property. There is a plethora of snorkel gear and boogie boards. There are several areas to spread out and enjoy the tranquility of the property. The pool sits perfectly perched right outside the great room and master bedroom surrounded by an outdoor dining area, couches and an area with several lounge chairs. A beautiful, fragrant path leads down to the hot tub, lined with lush greenery and flowers. Huge palm leaves surround part of the hot tub, plus nice lounge chairs with amazing view of the ocean. There is another, seperate sun deck, and steps from that is the beach which also had a few lounge chairs and a couple of umbrellas. We loved all the different outdoor options on the property. Something for everyone!
Our trip was outstanding! Would highly recommend Villa Oyster Pearl!

We had a great week, enjoying the pool and the beach. The house was very comfortable. The only thing I would like to bring up is that it is built on the side of a cliff. This gives it great views of the ocean and beach but there are a lot of steep steps to get down to the beach! Good workout for the legs. The property managers were very accommodating and we had a great time. A wonderful property for a large group.

Loved the property
We had a wonderful time! The property was exactly as listed and the documentation provided was extremely thorough and helpful. The property manager was always around when needed and was very nice. They even provided help getting to the property from the airport so we got to villa easily. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Family Christmas Vacation
Villa Oyster Pearl is a beautiful property. It was perfect for our family of nine adults. The Villa is well kept, very comfortable, kitchen has everything we needed. The view is breathtaking! We loved everything the Villa had to offer, pool, hot tub, quiet areas to relax and the beach. The chilled champagne was a lovely addition. Gabriel was very helpful when we had question and we loved Poppy, the resident dog. The owner, David, is easy to work with. Our family would come back in a heart beat and we highly recommend Villa Oyster Pearl.

Villa Oyster Pearl is a very lovely and spacious home perched above a beautiful beach. The grounds are beautifully cared for by a gardener who seemed to be present daily. There are many species of cacti and other lovely flowering plantings. Can you tell I love gardening? The pool off the main patio was delightful. The hot tub is a short distance away down the stairs in a private, protected area of the property. My grown children thoroughly enjoyed it. Our host, David was available night or day to answer questions and help us. He is a very gracious person who made us feel most welcome. He recommended a wonderful chef , Gabriell, who prepared my son’s birthday dinner. I highly recommend Villa Oyster Pearl. The beauty of the place will knock your socks off.

Little slice of heaven
We arrived on a Saturday and David was at the property to greet us. He gave us great info on where to shop and eat. Best Grouper I ever had just down the street 100 yards at the Infinity restaurant. The view of the water from your back deck is extremely relaxing. There is a you tube video out there of the property that gives a great visual of this extremely private property. Pool for two with a heater if needed and a hot tub just a few paces away. The beach is pretty much your own. Gabriel was always a great help. The TV situation is not bad David has it set up to provide you with some apple TV but we always travel with our phone to hook up netflix if needed. He has pretty much anticipated all the needs of your stay. Would definitely go back again. The ocean temp was perfect and the house is great for big or small groups of vacationers.

Villa Oyster Pearl
Wow!! Spectacular , wonderful, beautiful , incredible !! Met all of our expectations and more. We would not hesitate recommending this property to anybody. David is a great host and should be proud of his Villa. The only problem we had is that the week flew by and before we knew it, it was time to say goodbye.

They thought of everything! Gabriel was very attentive and assisted as needed. He even greeted is with a bottle of champagne upon arrival. Only downsides are the hotel just below the villa which is recovering from the hurricane, but very convenient bar available there and the seaweed. The sunsets are amazing, you will not be disappointed!

The house was comfortable, kitchen had alot of accessories but lots of ants. The hall bathroom one bedroom had to use, had no air conditioning, nor did the laundry room. A bedroom had an open shower with a sink and toilet all open together, everything got wet. Getting in and out of the driveway was tough, it was narrow, with an incline and at a sharp angle, dicey to get up and out of. I was also very specific with questions about the stairs to the beach when I spoke to the homeowner. There are many steps , I was not happy with how sharp, uneven, and jagged the stairs were, which are stone and cement.. Shoes were mandatory to go down to the beach so as to not rip up your feet. The stairs were not safe for anyone young or unsteady for any reason. There was only a tall bar to hold onto and nothing between the bar and the side of rocky hill leading from the house to the beach. We couldn't use the beach at all due to an infestation of seaweed several inches thick coming in all the time and accumulated on top of the sand. I was told, when we were there, it has been going on for quite a while. Down at the far end of the beach where an active hotel was they cleared off the seaweed so you could walk on the beach (but not go in the water) they dumped the seaweed from their beach on our beach and next door where an abandoned hotel sits right in front of the house. You had to look at the hotel and couldn't see the beach from most of the house. You could look over the roof of it, to see the ocean. On the far side of the house there was a patio with a unobstructed view but to the right was the top of the abandoned hotel. There was a patio right before you got to the beach but it had overgrown bushes so it blocked any view. The air-conditioning units worked well and were in each bedroom, in the kitchen and common area. The hot tub was warm but not warm enough for us to use when we wanted to at night. It was very windy most of the time so at night is wasn't warm enough. We were not able to get the DVD to work (we did not ask for help with it) but we were able to get our Netflix account to work most of the time when we wanted to watch a movie etc. A booklet had recommendations so we took a boat trip to the Anguilla beaches which we enjoyed. There are some small grocery stores not too far from the house. Sunday we had to drive around as a number of local restaurants were closed that evening. Close French side restaurant next to Bread and Butter market we liked.

Relaxing getaway with plenty of room
A group of friends and I stayed at the villa for a night during the week of my wedding. David met us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the property. He gave us tips for where to eat and he even included a bottle of champagne for us to celebrate the pending nuptials. Wonderful host!
The villa is so spacious! There were 10 of us and at no time did we ever feel crowded. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms to accommodate us all. The villa was exactly as described and pictured. We loved opening up the sliding doors and feeling the breeze while sitting inside. Relaxing on the patio, listening to the ocean and taking in the views while enjoying our breakfast was definitely a highlight of the trip.
We will absolutely stay here again!

Awesome vacation!!
We went with our son, Granddaughter and two of our very best friends, can’t go wrong with that. The Villa was well stocked with everything from lush towels for the beach to sunscreen. The kitchen was very well stocked, and the beds were comfortable . We enjoyed sitting out at night looking at this ocean and the stars, walking the beach and David was always available for questions, recommendations on where to go to eat and how to get there. Just don’t rely on the directions, like take one of the only two main roads on the island, it’s hard to tell what a main road looks like there, They all look the same to me LOL I heard this whenever I stopped somebody to ask them how to get somewhere they’d say “take one of the two main roads “ we all had an excellent time there. The bonuses we got to meet David and he’s the gym of the island. Just have a really good app on your phone that will tell you how to get somewhere LOL

Great Spring Break!
Perfect weather, welcoming people and an excellent host who was willing and able to provide recommendations and answer my MANY questions. Carmen was especially helpful for anything onsite and trouble shooting of issues. Couldn't have asked for a better spring break! Thanks for sharing your paradise with us.

Exactly as described.
Just returned from a week at Oyster Pond with our group of 10, ranging in ages from 5-61. The bright, well laid out Villa has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Loved the very private beach at the Villa as well as numerous others that are all a short drive away. Grocery stores are nearby as well as numerous restaurants when you want to try some local fare. Overall a great place to relax with family or friends.

I thought my husband was mad when he booked this weeks get away for our family 8 months ago. Now I know I married a genius.
The Villa is magical, the views amazing . Dawn Beach seemed like our own private realm. The Villa grounds are full of colorful flowers and shrubs and for me, an avid gardener, I spent hours exploring . I seemed to never be far from a nook or resting place. You can be in full sun the entire day or choose shade from the trees or umbrellas.
Loved the feeling of privacy but most of all loved the sound of the waves on the shore whilst we lay in bed. I can't describe how wonderful it is to wake up to that sound.
A perfect start to a new year.

Everything as promised
Everything as promised and, in most cases above expectations. We spent most of our time on the beach or the beach deck, a very nice touch with umbrellas and sun loungers. Gabriel very kindly set them up on the beach for us.
The area is well served by several local restaurants that serve a very varied selection of menu's. For our big night out we went to Le Piment in Orient Village, excellent recommendation. There were several other restaurants in the square all well attended. We will recommend the Villa to our friends and family and hope to return again.

Just WOW
From first communication to a fond farewell David and Carmen made us feel completely at home. Nothing was too much trouble. All there recommendations were the best! Our favorite was just lounging around the many sun traps by the villa and scavenging on Dawn Beach.
Sunset in the hot tub became a ritual.
A holiday we will remember for a very long time.

Wonderful home!
Oyster pearl is just beautiful! Carmen and David were most helpful. The home has a spectacular view of the ocean and islands in the distance! There are quite a few steps leading to the beach so if you have any difficulty with steps you may want to think twice before renting. That is the only downside. Other than that it was a perfect stay! Gorgeous view… Beautiful house.
Gorgeous view… Beautiful house. Very very comfortable vacation. Not as private as I would’ve wanted with caretakers and Gardner’s etc., but I’m sure with more information that would’ve been easy to work around.

Super Clean Super Comfy
The Villa is better than the pictures. The Views are amazing. Waking up every morning to the breeze and the sound of the waves, coffee on the terrace and Yoga on the beach deck. This is a special place, calm and tranquil. The beach was deserted apart from a few people at the far end of the beach. Such a selection of places to relax and be private for the all over tan!

We had so many plans to visit Islands, explore, snorkel trips and boat tours, We spent the majority of our time at the Villa round the Hot Tub relaxing and sunning ourselves. Listening to the sounds of the waves on the beach. Happy hour got earlier every day.
Thank you David for wonderful restaurant recommendations. Hard to choose our favorite Al Dente, Piment, Cottage, Emilos. Oh we did do the Catamaran tour. Wonderful.
We will see you again.
