About this house rental
2-story river retreat with your own dock in "Old Homosassa". This is a fabulous location to relax and unwind. Short 15-20 minute boat ride to the Gulf of Mexico or to the famous Homosassa Springs. Great establishments like The Freezer, McRae's and Yardarm located just a short distance away.
The lower level has full size laundry room, a full bathroom with shower and large bedroom with two twin beds and one queen size bed. Upstairs has spacious living and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms both with queen size beds, full bathroom with tub. Covered carport. Central air & heat. Brighthouse TV and high speed internet.

The property is located in a great spot, we docked our boat out front on the canal and was only a 10 minute ride to the river. The house was clean and roomy, all of us enjoyed it.

We have stayed in this location multiple years in a row and it never disappoints. The house is always ready and clean when we arrive, the host is responsive and accommodating. The house is in a great location, golf cart ride to all the restaurants and boat ramp. The dock more than accommodates our boat and is a great feature. Short ride to the river out of the canal, great middle ground from the bay for scallops or to the Springs passing Monkey Island. Worth the stay every year!

This is our second time staying here and we love how spacious the home is. Great location if you have a boat and the freeer is at the end of the canal for a convenient dinner on the boat. :)

This is our 4th year in a row, staying here. Owners are great. Everything is always set up perfect. Right on a deep canal with easy access to the Freezer, Crumps, Springs and the Gulf. The dock and canal can handle a 28 ft boat with ease.

2nd year staying here for an extended time and enjoyed every moment. Location is great in a quiet neighborhood that is friendly. Home is spacious and on a dead end canal giving you privacy. We had dolphin and manatee visit many times during our stay. Close to the Freezer, Crumps, McRae's and Monkey Island. We enjoyed Seagrass and also the Margarita restaurant. We ventured to Crystal River and found a real winner - Peaks for a great fish dinner. Homosassa is a wonderful little community.

We always come to the area around Christmas time. This is the primo area as you are close to the spring and good restaurants are nearby. Great area to walk around too. We had 2 houses we rented and this was where we put our adult boys. They had plenty of space and the house was very clean. Liked the porch in the back. Thank you!

We were able to recharge in this quiet hideaway. The house has everything you need to relax yet feel like home. We rented a golf cart and we’re able to go out to eat, shop, and hang out at local bars. We love our stay and the owners are kind and attentive!

when not used for a while, always make sure the sinks and tubs have water in their P traps. 1st night, sewer gas from the tub. ran some water then no problem.

Great home on a canal, conveniently located to the Restaurants, Springs and Gulf. Close to the boat ramp and plenty of room to park your truck and trailer. House was big and well appointed. Owners were wonderful to work with. We'll be back.

We book this place each year because we love the location, the amenities and the property manager is very accommodating! We enjoy the small town local feel of the neighborhood and look forward to our week each year. The house is clean, tidy and accommodates our group with ease. Close enough to everything. Very quite. Be careful if you have a bigger boat. Tough to drop in the water on the street. Had to drop in at a marina. Otherwise, it was a great stay.

Great Escape
Thank you for opening up your place to us. We loved our vacation. We went to The Freezer, rented Pontoon boats saw a dolphin, swam with the manatees and caught fish. Saw monkeys on an Island. Great food. The Boil Yard really good food and service. Located in Crystal River. Spent a couple days at sunset beach. If you go to the Caddy’s property your dogs are welcome on the beach. A must vacation.

A Peaceful Place Full of Adventure
We stayed on this beautiful property that offered all the comforts of home for an entire week. The house, spacing, and location was beyond approach. The area is quiet, relaxed, and full of peaceful encounters. We saw a dolphin, relaxed and caught fish, enjoyed evening walks around the neighborhood. If you are looking to decompress and reset your pace..... this is the place. The owners are amazing, friendly, and responsive! A great place to spend quality time with the family.

Quiet little spot with easy access to all the hot spots on and off the water
Perfect place to bring your boat. We used the house mostly as a place to lay our heads at night, staying out on the water all day. With the canal right next to some of the most popular waterfront bars and restaurants in the area (one directly off the canal), a beautiful ride to the clear spring water for a dip, or a twisty ride out to the gulf with some beautiful natural Florida scenery along the way, it's a boaters paradise! Nice, clean house with everything you would need in a home away from home.

GREAT GET AWAY
Home is a perfect get away. The house was very clean and had everything we needed! House is close to restaurants and boat ramp. The boat dock was perfect for our 21ft boat. Definitely recommend this home!

Short family visit
So mother who is about to make it to 81, along with myself and my lady friend, went south to visit my sister, as she was going to have some miner surgery. I came across this nice home , not over fancy but nice and clean , with a bedroom on the ground floor, which I knew Mom would enjoy, most houses on or near the water are raised now, around 10’ above grade, to survive high water days that will happen from Tim to time in this area. To be honest Mrs. Pam told me the fishing in the canals was not that great, but we managed to catch a few, including catfish , mullet, Brem and a couple nice Mangrove snapper , over all it was enjoyed by all and we would stay at Mrs Pats again
