Nice house with a lot of Charlottesville charm. Definitely need to Uber to most UVA related activities. Would stay there again as it is nice and fit our needs. We had women fly and drive from very far distances. Would have been a game changer to have some kind of warm welcome touches. A bottle of wine, water, or coffee pods would have felt life changing. Would recommend anyway!

Wonderful stay!

We had plenty of room to spread out to work individually or hang out together. The house having bathrooms for each bedroom was great. Loved the location- easy walk to the downtown mall.

Always a pleasure

Loved everything about the house...it was perfect for our group. Super clean and roomy. And the pool table got plenty of use!

Can’t say enough about this property. Exactly as pictured in the listing. The kitchen has everything you need, the living areas are very comfortable and offered perfect seating for our group of 7 friends. The showers never lacked hot water, even when all were in use at the same time. The kitchen area is far enough from the bedrooms that our late sleepers weren’t disturbed by our early risers! The back porch was a nice place to unwind in the evenings and the billiard table was a great draw for those that wanted to stay inside. The one thing I would point out to those planning to stay, just know the 4th sleeping area that has a sitting area and small kitchen is actually a room with its own entrance, and not accessible from inside the house. We were perfectly fine with the arrangements since the rooms were only for sleeping, and offer extra privacy for those that might want to disconnect from the larger group. Think “in-laws quarters”…we loved it! As for the decore, the house is stunning inside, very tastefully decorated and some eclectic pieces that lend to the home’s charming character. The foyer on its own was my personal favorite space and very inviting. As for proximity to things…we had a rental car and the downtown historic mall was a few minutes away. We spent a day at the vineyards, the first of which was a 30 minute drive away (Pippen Hill). Monticello is also a quick and convenient drive from the house. This is definitely a property I would stay at again!

The house was fantastic! Clean, beautiful, well -furnished, well-maintained, well-stocked with anything you may need. There was plenty of space for the 8 of us (4 couples) to both have our own space and have plenty of communal space to cook, have meals, play games, watch a movie, etc. The location is just a few blocks away from the downtown mall on a quiet street - very easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. The property manager was very responsive to questions and provided very clear communication on check-in/checkout. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend staying here!

The house comfortably sleeps 8 adults (we had 7). There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out in the livingroom and dining room with card games and puzzles. The house is a short walk between both Belmont and the Mall so youll have no trouble finding bars or restaurants.
We had 1 minor maintenance issue but the property management team responded quickly even on a Saturday morning.
All beds were comfortable and the rooms had extra blankets.
All bathrooms were clean. All showers had good water pressure. And the soaker tub in the master was great.
The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware. There was limited "leftovers" so bring your own coffee.
That being said, the house was great.

Overall, the house is great. The only drawback is the parking. If you are staying on a weekday and leave during the day don't expect to park in front of the house until after 6pm when the businesses on the street are done for the day. The street is empty after business hours and on the weekend.

This property is massive, we had our three kids and parents all in the house with room to spare, and hosted our family and friends to hang out during the day as a jumping off point to explore the Downtown mall which is a very short walk away. Would stay here every time, highly recommend.

Overall, the house was great for my use. However:
Kitchen:
no wine bottle opener!
Skillets have all seen better days and really need to be replace.
Could use an electric skillet for cooking pancakes/bacon for 8.
Pyrex baking dishes- need more of all sizes
Need Measuring cups and spoons as some were missing.
Second floor guest bedroom mattress was awful.
I’d replace that immediately.
Parking always available in front.
Loved the Large dining room table
Generous supply of TP and dishwashing pods
And, please consider leaving lights on (day of arrival) for incoming renters. We arrived well past dark and it was difficult to locate house and open door and enter house in the dark.

We stayed at your property last weekend to attend the wedding of our dear friend's daughter. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful.

Issues with the home:
- Used bandaid strips on bathroom counter and seal next to sink
- Used fake eyelashes left on the edge of the second bath tub
- Excessive mold in shower -- especially the squeegee
- Dirty cabinets, light switches, window seals and walls
- Stains on sheets
- Dirty tubs
- An abundance of dust, hair, and debris on all the swivel chairs
- Uncomfortable beds
As soon as I checked into the home, it was immediately clear to me that it hadn't been cleaned given the reasons listed above. I immediately called the rental company, but they said their cleaning staff had left for the day and wouldn't be able to return until the next day. The rest of their properties were booked so we also couldn't move. However, they let us know if we did the cleaning ourselves, they'd waive our cleaning fee. Since this was supposed to be a relaxing girl's trip, we opted to let the cleaners come the next day.
I truly appreciate everything Lisa and Chris did to make up for the incident but since it was only a weekend trip, it sucked that a solid portion of our trip was spent in a filthy home. Lisa was kind enough to eventually refund ~14% of our stay and while I was grateful, I still don't feel the house was worth what we paid.

A group of us were on a work trip and stayed an extra day to attend the Chris Stapleton concert. Everything was great with the property

Great house for lots of family.

The house and location are wonderful. We loved it and would stay again.

Stayed for 6 nights with my husband, my parents and our 3yr old. We had a wonderful time exploring the area along with walks over to the Charlottesville Mall area. Cooked several meals in the large kitchen and enjoyed some wonderful local wine while sitting around the large dining room table. Beds were comfortable although our daughter preferred sleeping on the floor in our room instead of her own room. Short drive, about 30min to skyline drive and only a 10min drive to Monticello. I would recommend heading over to the Barboursville Winery, about 30min drive but worth it. Everyone was super nice and even accommodating to our 3yr old, offered up goldfish a juice box and some fruit snacks for her on arrival. House was wonderful, large rooms and spacious bathrooms stocked with plenty of towels. Would certainly recommend

Perfect for a weekend getaway!

We went to Charlottesville for a girls weekend! The house was perfect and the Stay Charlottesville team helped us plan vineyard tours one of the days as well. This was the perfect trip and the team was so helpful!

We had a great weekend at this property. It was the perfect size for our group of 6. It was clean, within walking distance to the downtown mall area and many restaurants. Thanks!

We loved the home. Location was excellent for walks. Home was beautiful and cozy. Layout was perfect for cooking/dining, relaxing, and rest. Hope to visit again.

Weekend visit for my 60th. Lovely property
Close to everything

Enjoyed a long UVA football weekend in this gracious home. Beautiful decorated and spacious home. Great kitchen and open layout, large dining room and sitting areas. Bedrooms and bathrooms were nicely finished. Nice deck off the back to enjoy the great fall weather. Close to everything.

The property was wonderful for 6 adults, ages 55-95, to stay for a family wedding in Charlottesville. It was nice that each couple had their own bathroom. The kitchen/tv area was great for hanging out together. It was easy to walk to the downtown pedestrian mall area.
A few issues:
The light at the top of the stairs was out when we first arrived, but I called Stay Charlottesville and they had someone come out and fix it the next morning.
The bathroom in the room my husband and I stayed in looked like it had not been thoroughly cleaned when we got there. There was hair in the drain and on the rug in the bathroom. Also, the shower curtain was rather mildewed. I let Stay Charlottesville know and they provided me with clean bath mats (it wasn't the mat, it was the rug that was dirty) and a new shower curtain liner.
The dishwasher control panel- all (seriously, ALL) the lettering is worn off so you don't know what the buttons do. It's hard to run it when you have no idea what each button does. I suggest they put some labels on it.
The house instructions mention multiple keys, but there was only one key in the lockbox and one key in the house for the apartment. Maybe update the instructions so there's no confusion about what keys you should have.
You don't learn about the 2 hour limit (M-F 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.) on street parking until you get the house instructions. We were worried we'd have to keep moving the car, but it ended up not being a problem.
Overall, we enjoyed our visit and would definitely stay again.
Stay Charlottesville was responsive to our needs.

Lovely property very well appointed, close to about everything.

This house served as our temporary home during our daughter's wedding outside of Charlottesville. Located in the historic district but within walking distance to the downtown mall area. Everything was so warm and inviting about the home. I loved the soft creaking of the wood floors and just the living space and the decor. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.

Property was great

Great location and wonderful house
This house is a wonderful layout for a group of friends or a family. It is nicely decorated, charming and spacious. The location is also very convenient. Bedrooms were a little dusty, and we had to wipe down the high chair that we rented, but overall we still had a great stay and would definitely return! Thank you!

Absolutely beautiful home just a few blocks from the downtown mall. We were able to walk to many of our destinations. Lovely antiques, great kitchen and family room. We had an issue with one of the bathrooms and the management company resolved within a few hours. Great stay, I highly recommend this home. Everyone was professional and helpful.

Loved being able to walk to downtown as well as to restaurants. Was able to jog in the neighborhood because neighborhood was safe.

Met expectations Your team was top notch. We arrived at our reserved home at woolen mills and to find that it had not been cleaned after prior use. Your team immediately moved us to another location that we were fully sarisfied with. Woolen Mills appears to be a nice home but the location is less than inviting. Very happy to have been moved to better location.

My daughters, sister-in-law, and I enjoyed our stay for 3 nights during our girls' trip. The home was spacious, comfortable, and very well furnished. We walked to the pedestrian mall everyday. I would definitely recommend this home to other Charlottesville visitors. Anna was a great wine tour guide and VERY helpful!
4.7
My only question was answered very quickly.
4.7
The house was beautiful and spacious, much more than we thought it would be. It was very easy to get to the downtown pedestrian mall area. Parking on weekdays was difficult and surprising for us. We didn’t realize beforehand how busy the area is for businesses.
4.7
The house was terrific. Good size with three bedrooms and an additional apartment in the basement. Kitchen and bathrooms were clean and modern. Outdoor patio was very nice as well as the pool table. The House location, near the walking Promenade, is ideal. I would happily recommend this house to all comers Your team was terrific and helping us and we really love the city and the people .
4.7
There was no lighting to the outside guest room and the front porch light was burned out. During the day was fine but at night, it was hard to see and could have easily slipped down the stairs. Very friendly and helpful

This was a great house for our family. We ordered in and really enjoyed the large dining room. The kitchen was fairly well stocked.
Beds were very comfortable and baths well stocked with towels. It was cool and rainy so we didn't use outdoor spaces. Thanks for everything. Very helpful
