This apartment will seduce you with its location close to the train station, the city center and its pretty view on the east of Rouen. It welcomes you for any type of stay from 3 days to several months. Entirely redecorated and furnished, this bright cottage located on the ground floor in a quiet residence with caretaker, is exposed East-West. It has a sheltered terrace along the living room. Parking spaces allocated to the residence allow to park easily. A large cellar can accommodate bikes or other equipment. A bus stop is two minutes away, with direct access to the city center. It has a fully equipped kitchen (with dishwasher), a double living room of 20 m2 with sofa bed. The night area has a dressing room, a shower room with double sink and washing machine, and a large bedroom (bed 160x200) with a second dressing room and relaxation area. It is equipped with shutters for more comfort. Price including towels, cleaning and very high speed wifi. TV on box. Many books and DVDs are at your disposal. Welcome to holiday checks.

Rouen is an absolutely stunning city with lots to visit and do. The medieval buildings, the museums, the history along with the restraunts etc make it a great place to visit. It is also a great place to use as a base as it has such fantastic transport links (we jumped on the train and had a day in Paris!). The apartment, whilst not central is close enough to walk (about 20-25 mins to the centre) but there is a bus line only a few minutes walk away. It is set in a really nice area with some stunning houses surrounding it, though be warned it is on quite steep hill! We are both in our early 50's and had no issues with walking anywhere but anyone with mobility issues might struggle slightly. Inside the apartment is faultless, clean, tidy, well decorated and containing everything you could need. Just one to note is that if you intend to take your car down into Rouen you will need to register for a 'Crit'air' sticker as Rouen has a clean air zone - it only costs a few euros but takes a couple of weeks for your sticker to arrive and will potentially save you a fine!

Ground floor property in a nice location, easy to walk into Rouen but don't try to walk back up the hills to the apartment, you'll end up with a heart attack, very steep.take the bus no F1 far better ,every thing catered for in the apartment and an brilliant shower

Petit appartement très soigné et très bien équipé -- accueil cordial et efficace -- grand calme dans le building et le quartier -- abords bien entretenus -- parking facile -- arrêt de bus à proximité et hyper centre de Rouen ainsi accessible en quelques minutes -- excellente boulangerie à 200m

En TOUTE SERENITE .
Résidence paisible et bucolique , d'où l'on peut faire à pied des promenades avec de très jolies vues sur Rouen. La ville est proche, le centre historique se trouve à quelques minutes en voiture ou en bus.

Perfect!
This is one of the best vacation rentals we’ve experienced. The apartment is clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. We especially liked the location in a quiet, pretty neighborhood on a ridge overlooking part of Rouen. We were sorry to leave.
Fabienne is an excellent owner. She communicates well. Her husband was standing in the doorway waiting for us when we arrived. We enjoyed a delicious chocolate cake Fabienne had made and complimentary bottle of cider. This apartment is a gem, and it should be at the top of your list for Rouen.

Nice apartment in a quiet area a 15 minute walk in to the centre. But a steep walk back
A nice place with a restaurant and 2 good pastry shops and a garage close by. We should have checked bus routes which would have saved a brisk walk back, overall a nice clean apartment

Sehr geschmackvolles, angenehmes Apartment
Wir haben uns in Fabiennes Apartment sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, hell und sehr sauber. Die Terrasse bietet einen netten, geschützten Platz zum Sitzen und einen wundervollen Ausblick auf die Stadt. Fabienne und ihr Mann waren stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: Etwas mehr Geschirr und Besteck wäre von Vorteil, um die Spülmaschine besser ausnutzen zu können. Sonst alles prima.

Wir haben zwei sehr schöne Wochen in Rouen verbracht!
Mit der Unterbringung und der Ausstattung der Ferienwohnung waren wir sehr zufrieden!
Es gibt von unserer Seite keine Beanstandungen, die Ferienwohnung ist sehr empfehlenswert!

Excellent place to stay
The apartment was nicely organized and well equipped.The area was quiet,a nice view over the city from the patio but still close to the Rouen downtown area.
We enjoyed our week . The arrival cider and cake was a pleasant surprise.

Fabulous apartment
Perfect little apartment located conveniently to explore the beautiful medieval city of Rouen.
Our hosts were wonderful and the description of their apartment was entirely accurate and tastefully decorated. It was a pleasure to sit on the little patio area in the evenings sipping a glass or two of wine. We were very appreciative of the welcome pack of local cider and buscuits and delicious homemade cake left for us when we arrived.
We explored Normandy fully as we had our own car - venturing to Monet's house in Giverny, Versailles and the coastal towns of Honfleur and Etretat. The train station is accessible if you dont have your own car.
We used the local bus service into the centre of town a few times - very cheap and only 6 stops to the town centre.
There is a bakery within walking distance of the apartment, a good grill restaurant and petrol station which also stocked things like milk etc.

Appartement conforme au descriptif, très propre, très calme, parking devant l'immeuble; relativement proche du centre ville,15/20 mn pour y descendre à pied; excellente communication et excellent accueil des propriétaires, un gâteau "maison" et une bouteille de cidre (merci bcp !) nous y attendent... A recommander +++

Un appartement tranquille et bien équipé, un accueil parfait
L'accueil est particulierement soigné. Les gourmandises de bienvenue nous ont tout de suite mis dans de bonnes dispositions pour apprécier cet appartement tres bien situé (descendre en ville est facile, pour remonter, mieux vaut prendre le bus !) , avec des pieces à vivre lumineuses et donnant un bel aperçu de Rouen (selon brouillard!). Les équipements sont vraiment complets, et le fond d'épicerie est conséquent, ce qui est trop rarement le cas dans les locations. Nous ne saurions que recommander cet endroit, et l'accueil des propriétaires.

Lovely apartment!
This apartment is very spacious, clean, and well appointed. We loved the decor too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found our hosts to be very helpful and kind. They go out of their way to make their guests feel at home. We would highly recommend it. It was a perfect place for the two of us. The amenities were outstanding.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié cet appartement confortable,super bien équipé, très propre, calme, décoré avec soin, une superbe vue sur la ville de Rouen.
Nous avons également beaucoup aimé les petites attentions des propriétaires : du café ou thé pour notre petit déjeuner, des petits chocolats et bonbons, une bouteille de cidre et des biscuits régionaux, toutes ces petites attentions qui nous donnent l'impression d'être accueillis comme des voyageurs amis. We enjoyed this beautiful spacious apartment, well located.
We recommend this beautiful apartment,well supplied and great location. The host was very helpful, there was lots of information about the city. A delicious cake,crackers and a apple cider was given to us to enjoy. We travelled to the port of Dieppe by train which we recommend. We also visited the famous impressionist Claude Monet’s garden and house in Gyverny 45 minutes by train.The city of Rouen has so much history. We are so delighted with our stay in Rouen.

Wonderful apartment
Wonderful apartment. Good quality fittings, spacious, nice area, and just a short safe walk into Rouen. Very clean and tidy. Bakery 2 mins walk away. Good internet. On site parking. Secure. Very nice welcome pack (especially the cake!) and very helpful owner. Also enough green around the apartment block if you have a dog. Would highly recommend this to anyone and will definitely stay again should we go to Rouen again.

Great apartment for a base in Rouen
Excellent apartment! Quiet, comfortable, clean, safe, well-appointed with all essentials and nothing superfluous. And the view, especially at sunset, is outstanding. Parking is easily available on the premises. The apartment is 1.5-3 km uphill from the center of Rouen, that may be walkable but we preferred to drive.
The hosts are nice, relaxed, well organized, accommodating, and welcoming. In general the communication was prompt, efficient, and smooth. They can communicate in English for the basics, and all information and recommendations in the apartment are available in English as well.
Thank you for the welcoming gifts, we really enjoyed them.
All in all we felt here much more at home than in any hotel.

Just perfect
We spent a week in Rouen. Lovely apartment overlooking the city and country views. Breakfast on the terrace every morning and watching the sun disappear with drinks late into the evening. Apartment was clean up to date. The kind owners left us a homemade cake, cookies and cider! Local bus is F1 Bois-Guillaume, bought 10 ticket bus pass which took us all over the city and even visited the Jardin near the Expo - hot houses due to be completed shortly. Rouen 1431 must be on your list of things to do! The Beautiful Horizon is fabulous, quiet, plenty of parking and highly recommended.

A wonderful visit, the apartment is well situated and is a short walk down to see beautiful Rouen. Had a bottle of French cider awaiting us in the fridge on arrival.. great hosts!
