The stay was beautiful and relaxing. The staff helped fix a window that wouldn't shut immediately. I was very impressed.

When we walked in, we couldn't believe the little slice of heaven we'd found. The apartment is absolutely beautiful and decorated in the most calming beach vibes. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful view of the intercostal waterway. The king bed was so comfortable. The kitchen, while tiny, met our every need. We didn’t eat out, cooked every meal in - simply had to wash dishes after every meal because there's no room to let them pile up... and that was a blessing because the kitchen was always tidy after every meal. The pool was so nice and clean and there were steps to it right outside our door. There is a very nice patio to sit on right outside the door as well and it is always cool because it is in the breezeway. Everyone we met was friendly, and many of them had been staying at Aloha for years. We're a little older so drove to the beach rather than walked. It was very close, just further than we could walk with all our beach stuff. Very nice park just down the street, and very close to the fishing pier. There's also a nice park north about a mile or two. You pay to park everywhere, but it's only $2.00 an hour. Nice fishing at the Hillsboro Park, but you do need to purchase a fishing license. I think it was $17 for three days...very reasonable. Close to Publix and tons of nice restaurants. We'd recommend this place to anyone. Was a perfect getaway for the two of us!

This was a great location to stay at. We initially looked at staying ocean facing but opted for this location instead, VERY happy with our choice and would totally recommend. It's a nice, quiet, clean condo and was perfect for my husband and I.
Having an assigned parking spot made getting parked and unloaded very easy. We got there around 10pm, so that convenience was appreciated!
The bed is a bit more firm than we are used to so that was a little different, just be prepared for that. The living space was comfortable and we loved having the pool right downstairs. We spent most of our time in the pool or on the loungers along the canal. We grilled dinner both nights we were there, which was super convenient.
We would highly recommend this location and plan to return in the future!

We enjoyed our stay here very much! The waterway provides great views and boat traffic. The beach is truly just about a 5 minute walk. The room provides beach chairs and umbrella. We utilized many aspects of the kitchen and it worked well. The pool is OPEN and very nice. The condo is clean and comfortable. Checking in and out was easy. Monica did not have a long list of have too’s at check out which was nice, even though we cleaned up after ourselves. We would stay again.

Our only negative was the presence of Jack hammers and cement work all day each day during our entire stay. They drained the pool the day we got there and it was out of order the entire stay.
If the facility is fully functional it’s a nice place to stay and I’d stay there again.

Cute condo on 2nd floor of OG resort, undergoing some renovations/updating during our stay. Clean, in good working order, as noted in other reviews, bathroom is older decor however, is clean and in good working order. A/C, bed and other furniture was comfortable. Parking was awesome, proximity to Pompano Beach fantastic, and view of the intercoastal was lovely. Monica was a superb and timely communicator. Would totally stay again.

This was a nice location with good, clear communication with the property owner. We were very happy to be so close to the beach (5 minute walk). The check in and check out were very easy and they allowed us to come a little earlier than our check in time, so that was very helpful and convenient.The only thing lacking was that there were some spots that were not the cleanest. Ceiling fans had a think layer of dust, shower floor had dark dirt in it that we were able to spray and wipe out and there were dead bugs on the window sill over the bed, and the floor left our seet and socks dirty. Overall, we were very pleased with the rental and would stay here again. The stay was pretty relaxing and there were no issues with the area at all.

We had the rainiest week, unfortunately, but the condo had everything we needed and was in a great spot with a very nice warm pool and friendly fellow vacationers. Also short distance to the beach (walkable in about 5 minutes) and close to restaurants.. Easy check in and out and Monica quickly responsive. Thank you!

Clean tiny apartment with tiny kitchen but great intercoastal views. This 1950s second floor walk up (16 stairs) is in a good location only a half mile from the Pompano Beach Pier and several restaurants. The apartment could use some updating, especially in the bathroom.

I was looking for an apartment that had a view of the intracoastal waterway. This is it. This apartment is located within a resort that really accommodates the guests. There is a spectacular view of the waterway from the apartment. Chairs are placed outside on the dock so that the guests can sit and watch the boats go by. There is a swimming pool available to guests who would like to get some exercise. There are barbeques available to the guests, if you don't want to take advantage of the fine restaurants in the area. They also had an evening boat parade on the intracoastal, which they do once a year. The property manager has an apartment that is right next door to the rental unit. He was always around to answer questions or help get oriented.
The apartment is within walking distance to the beach. The beach has a walkway that is very attractive for a person of any age. The beach area has picnic pavilions, yoga classes, workout equipment, play areas, restaurants and bars. It is convenient to walk the promenade or relax and watch others walk. Since we
were there during the holiday season, the promenade had holiday lights that made walking enjoyable at night. The apartment is a short drive away from Gulfstream Park, the Broward Center theaters, PGA National Golf Course where the Honda Classic is held.
We had a wonderful time and hope to return in the future.

Enjoyed the view and the ability to enjoy coffee and wine outside on the porch along side the unit. Very easy access to our needs. My son has an early Thanksgiving. So will be there again.

My wife and I live on the West Coast of Florida and had to find a place to stay because hurricane Ian made our house unlivable. When we told Monica the situation, she graciously stated that we could stay the night before we were supposed to check in at no additional charge.
When we checked in, the place was spotlessly clean. When we opened up the blinds to see the view, it was beautiful! Very friendly neighbors and tenants around us. Nice pool. Nice safe neighborhood that is a five minute walk to the beach and also extremely convenient to other retail services.
During our stay, we loved her place so much, we asked Monica if we could extend our stay because accommodations on the West Coast of Florida were sparse due to the hurricane. She informed us that her place was going to be occupied by a new guest. Needless to say, we were disappointed that we had to leave the property.
But Monica came to the rescue! She reached out to some other owners of units in the same building to see if they had any accommodations for us. Indeed they did. In fact, we are in one of those other units right now (and not homeless :-)

We loved the view and activity of the Intracoastal waterway. We enjoyed the pool everyday and loved sitting outside and watching all the boats go by. The apartment was very clean, the property manager, Jax, was super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. It was a pleasure to meet Monica in person, as she responded to our few requests in a most timely fashion. The apartment could use some updating, especially the bathroom, but that being said, we had a great time and hope to return in the near future.

I would recommend to the owner to have the tub recaulked or the bathroom updated. For the price, it was fine for my daughter and I as we were there for my daughters sporting events.

Beware of this property!
We when arrived to the apartment it had not been cleaned. There was debris all over the bedroom floor and the soap dispenser in the bathroom was completely empty. We immediately reached out to Monica, the owner, several times with no response. We contacted Vrbo for their assistance and they were not able to reach Monica either (there is no voicemail set up on the owner's phone number). I reached out through the Vrbo chat and provided my cell number to Monica to resolve the issue with the room. After waiting an hour with no response we had to find another place to stay and checked into a hotel. It was getting late and it was 4th of July weekend. Later that evening (around 8:00 pm) the owner commented in the Vrbo chat and said she was in the room and it was totally clean. Clearly the owner was not being honest and would not work with us to resolve the issue. We were told by someone on the property that the owner doesn't even live in Florida, so how could she have viewed the property? Since we paid for a hotel we requested a refund. The owner refuses to refund our money.

Great location and condo
This condo was very nice and in a great location for us. Exactly as described by owner. Has everything you need and owner is great to work with. She went out of her way to accommodate us on rescheduling due to a family emergency after our refundable date was passed, she is AWESOME and we are grateful. Least favorite thing about the condo was the bed, but it was fine, just not as comfortable as home LOL Close to many desirable areas with a car - we drove quite a bit up and down the coast to sightsee, as the condo was in the middle of many desirable places. It’s a block or so walk to the ocean and it has a nice pool and great area to sit out and watch the boats. Quite a few restaurants to choose from, we ate at a few local places that aren’t chains and were not disappointed (Flanigans, Zuccarelli East, Brus room sports grill, Aruba beach cafe) to name a few. Parking at the condo was perfect (assigned spot). Parking at the beach and to most tours we did was by phone call or app. We used the app and it was easy to use. Lots to do at Lauderdale beach and also the Everglades air boat was super fun and not too far. So many choices you are bound to have a great time if you choose this condo. Take or buy beach towels, as the condo towels should stay there if you read the rules. There are some beach chairs/toys available to use though. Enjoy!

Aloha was a great find on Vrbo. Set right on the inter coastal. Fabulous view of the yachts sailing daily. Great pool and patio areas. Condo was spotless. Only negative was bathroom could use some updating.
