The house is set up nicely and the guest house was great for my daughter, son-in-law and my granddaughter. The property manager was very responsive when we found a couple of boards loose on the deck by the water. The AC struggles when its really hot which it was that weekend. We avoided using the oven after using it once the first day because the house struggled to cool back down. Other than that it was great. The backyard is very sloped but very shady which was nice. Just be careful of the sticker burrs! Definitely wear footwear or you will regret it. We all had a wonderful time!

Great place to stay. Lots of room. Boat dock is within 100ft of main lake but in a cove so easy to tie up the boat without the waves. Listing agents communication is excellent.

Check in was easy with easy to follow instructions. The main house and guest house were both clean and tidy with some minor wear and could use some updating.
The main house easily slept 6 with the guest house holding an additional 4 comfortably. The main house accommodated all of us for meals and gatherings.
The boat dock was a big plus for us not having to take the boat out of the water each day. There are plenty of trashcans around the property which was nice.
The only real drawback is the back lawn is pretty steep going to and from the dock but there are some flat areas to play games and such. Might suggest indoor and outdoor shoes, this time if the year there is a burr issue and they get stuck in the throw rugs and aren't pleasant to step on but not really much the can do to avoid the issue.
We enjoyed the property and would recommend it to future guests.

When we arrived the door code did not work that was given to us.
The boat dock area was covered in moss (raked up 7 trash cans full so we could get our boat in)
The lake water in this area was not suitable for swimming AT ALL, very shallow, rocky, and lake moss everywhere
Patio and deck of house which is a Mobile home by the way had sticks and acorns etc all over definitely could have been cleaned off before arrival
Lawn needed to be mowed.. lawn day was suppose to be Tuesday but never came.
Gas Grill ..only half the burners worked
Main house is mobile home (don’t let them fool you)
A/C could not keep up. The temp in house was very warm 81 degrees or higher during the day and did not cool down fast enough
Property management brought more fans (one fan industrial type fan) so loud you couldn’t hear tv conversation ..you couldn’t sleep from heat & fan noise
Kitchen not equipped with basic utensils. Not even kitchen scissors
The frig…didn’t keep proper temp barely even cool. Home appliances outdated besides the washer and dryer
The beds..terrible. We re washed sheets mattress pad in guest house had stains all over it.
Toilets in main house barley worked.
NO ceiling fans in mobile home bedrooms just stand up fans
We nearly packed up and left the 2nd day but didn’t have another rental nearby available.
We suggest this rental for early spring or Fall or winter Unless you like it hot!
Beautiful yard and trees
Very quiet. But we will NOT be back.

This is the second time my family has stayed here. The house itself is older, but don’t let that stop you from staying here. The property is located on the water in a little cove and, while you can see the lake and the boats, water skiers, and jet skies that go by, there is little or no noise. Under the boat-slip is where perch, and one or two bass, call home which makes it fun for those that are fishing for fun - especially kids!
The only drawback to this property is that it is for sale and I’m afraid after it sells, that the new owners won’t put it up as a rental, and if they do, the price will be too high to afford.

I would say this house is absolutely amazing, fully stocked with everything you need. My family and I just spent a few days to celebrate my dads 50th birthday. And it was a total success. Kids had a blast playing in the huge yard and the lake as well.

The property was fine for our stay. The price was right for what we were wanting. The outside lake area of the property was disappointing. It was filled with trash and debris. The air conditioner in the property didn't work well. The apartment air conditioner went out the last day so we left early.

We had a great time at the property. The large double-wide home is dated, but very clean, and we had everything we needed. Of everyone polled, only one couple felt that their bed was comfortable. The mattresses seemed also dated. We could not get the tv to work properly and spoke (via email) with management even though we had two tech experts with us. We finally plugged our computer into the tv to be able to see football games. The outside area is great! The kids fished off the dock and caught several fish. We also used the kayaks. All in all, it was a good experience.

This quiet location in it's own corner of a cove is the perfect spot to unwind and relax. Access to the river is convenient and obvious.
The house itself is clean, spacious, cool, and has a well stocked kitchen. The detached guest house is great for groups that might need extra privacy or earlier bed times.
Highly recommend this property.

Very peaceful and fun
We enjoyed our stay very much. The property is in a quiet cove, shaded and peaceful. It was nice to have the main house and cottage. Everything functioned with no issues. We really appreciated all the water toys as well. We definitely recommend this place!

Enjoyed our stay
This property was perfect for our family. Grandparents had some quiet time and quiet sleep in the cabin and were out of the way the teenagers and their parents for a while. The shaded lawn and deck were great and provided some relief from the heat. The main house was very well stocked for cooking and eating. Our only disappointment was that we weren’t able to swim from the dock due to algae and debris. We did take the kayak out to deeper water to swim, but it wasn’t as convenient. We’d rent again.

Summer with old army buddy
Great house. A little outdated. Could use some USB ports in lamps perhaps in the bedrooms. Extra outlets. Bathroom shower off kitchen is in bad shape. Enjoyed the water toys. Yard is outstanding.

So fun
This is a wonderful property, especially with kids and dogs. The yard is huge and it is mostly all enclosed so length of room for the dogs to roam. The house was very clean and spacious. My older son loved the bonus cottage, although the ac did break the second night but we just brought him back to one of the 3 rooms on the main house.
We would totally go here again. The property managers were very attentive and helpful.

Golfing Weekend
Our husbands played 3 rounds of golf at 3 different clubs in the area. This rental was a great central location. The ladies did a little shopping in nearby towns and relaxed on the great deck in between trips. Everyone had a great time and the accommodations worked out great for our group.

I am handicapped and cannot climb stairs. Had to have my 2 sons carry me up steps at entries. Online photos didn't show steps.

Great Christmas Gathering Spot with guest house
Melody was so quick and kind to answer my questions. The property worked out great for our Christmas Family Gathering.

Okay, not amazing.
Overall the property had everything we needed, but it is more outdated than I expected. There is a distinct animal odor and lots of sticker burrs in the carpet.

Birthday weekend
Melodie was amazing to work with. We celebrated my husband’s 53rd birthday with high school friends. They had a birthday card waiting for us when we checked in. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We grilled both nights and ate outside on the patio. The weather was perfect. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Fun filled get away!
This is a great place for family fun of all ages. We used the open boat slip and the dock was nice, clean and easily accessible. The big open yard is great for playing games and having two independent living spaces was very nice.
My only criticisms are as follows. You can swim in the cove but I wouldn't suggest it as there is a lot of under growth and debris tends to wash in and collect near the corner of the dock. The master bedroom/bathroom struggles to stay cool with the rest of the house but does ok if you leave the door open and have a fan going. The giant tree right in front of the main house needs trimming as branches were reaching out into the walk way and sitting areas. I would not suggest this property for those who are handicapped and have a difficult time with stairs.

Family trip
We had a good weekend at the lake. The house is a little more outdated than I expected it to be. It was warm inside the house at night (we couldn't lower the thermostat below 72) and a bit uncomfortable, but they provided portable fans which helped. The location is great and the backyard/dock area was wonderful! Perfect for our dogs to run around. Good place for a family vacation - big dining table to gather around and eat and play games.

Great location, beautiful outdoor setting, needs to be renovated
We enjoyed our stay at Paradise Cove. The location is great and the outdoor setting is beautiful. The house itself is in need of renovations. The property manager is very responsive, but the owner needs to invest in some updates to the house. While we were there they did replace the dishwasher, and the property manager fixed a non-functional guest shower. This could be an amazing property with a little investment.

Summertime on Lake LBJ
The property outdoor amenities are fabulous. Lots of green grass, great deck, great boat house and dock for fishing. The inside of the main house is a bit dated and had A/C issues and septic issues. Kitchen was great for cooking and dining room great for gathering. All in all our family had a great time.

Paradise Cove was a Winner!
Our Grands' Camp was a great success with our stay at the Paradise Cove VRBO! Beds were good, even the fold-out couches had inflatable inner mattresses which made those beds very comfortable! The property's setting on the Cove was perfect for Teens to kayak, fish, and and paddle board! Outdoor Corn Hole Boards were a hit, too! Being able to launch our boat once and keep it docked on the property was a huge plus! Kitchen was well stocked and even had a few spices! We rented both houses so the second refrigerator and oven was a huge help when our Adult Children joined us for the weekend! The Dogs were contained by intact fencing except on the water's edge! The whole stay was a great success! (Two negatives were: the top sheet on the King bed was "way too narrow for sleeping in a king bed". A few of the kitchen pots need replacing due to high heat cooking by previous renters!) Great times had by all!

We enjoyed our time with our family. Even with the little hiccup we had it was resolved very quickly. Well managed

Overall we loved the place! Quiet, peaceful cove and loved having separate homes.
This is a great property for 2 or more families. Plenty of room, terrific porch with plenty of room for your pets to roam in the yard if you need.
2-recommendations:
1). Listing mentioned 2-boat slips, one with a lift. The lift slip was taken. I travelled with a brand new boat and selected with hopes of having choice on slips and the option of a lift.
2). AC could use a beef up. Add a second ac unit in the master suite or upgrade the single unit. We followed all instructions and were not in the home most of the day but the master was warm (80 degree days with overcast).

Staying by the lake
Overall we really enjoyed our stay here (4 days after Christmas). The backyard has a ton of space and the dogs loved running up and down the yard. The firepit and back patio were terrific for family dinners. The house is very roomy and had all the amenities that we needed. Two minor things to keep in mind:
1. The house has a fully enclosed backyard so it worked well for the dogs but the access gate to the property does not close well so they could get out. It would be great if this gate can be fixed.
2. Yes the house is on a lake but it is on an isolated cove so fishing was disappointing. You can take out a kayak and go out to the river to fish but from the dock we didn't catch any fish.

What a View!
House is in need of some TLC. It was clean but very "tired." Outlets coming out of the wall; not a full set of dishes for large party; pots and pans very old, rusted, or t-fal coming off. But, the view was amazing! We spent as much time as possible outdoors.
