For skiers, it’s ideal. Walk up the stairs, cross the parking lot, and the ski resort is right there. Buses throughout Park City come within a block of this condo. It’s also a doable walk to downtown Park City and a short walk to Starbucks and groceries.
Parking is challenging. Space under the building with the structural supports is tight so you have to park with care. Getting into the garage is tricky too because it’s hard to get close to the keypad in your car and it’s downhill, which is a little worrisome.
Marching up stairs from the basement is a bit rough if you are not in shape. If you rent here be prepared for a decent amount of steps.
The condo is a cute attic space. You do need to watch your head in a few places. The round space in the corner is delightful. Cozy space with a nice view. The place feels like home away from home as opposed to a hotel.
Owner was very helpful before and during the visit. Provided much information on Park City and getting around.
There are a few minor repairs that could be made and it did stay a bit warm in the condo but it was a nice stay and a nice condo you will be able enjoy especially if you are there to ski.

The location was awesome. The condo needs a deep clean and owners stuff removed. We looked beyond and enjoyed our stay.

We had a nice stay. The place felt like a lived-in home. Overall, everything was as promised.

We had a nice stay. Fast response to manager/owner when we had a question.

The condo is very nice. Lots of room and a unique layout. Wonderful shower with steam option. The location was the best part for us – just across the parking lot from Park City Mountain for skiing. The skiing was fantastic. We found it easiest to take advantage of the boot check service and walked over in hiking boots and had boots in backpacks. The resort charged $16 a day for us to store all 4 bags with shoes together. We had an issue during our visit that won’t reoccur for anyone else – a local power outage/surge knocked out the heating boiler so we were without heat for a couple days. Suellen was responsive and got repair people to come promptly but they were slow to resolve it. Suellen compensated us for the inconvenience. When the heat was fixed we had wonderful radiant heat from the floors throughout. I saw another reviewer note that the siding is being replaced on the building – this was still in progress when we were there in Mid-January but it did not affect us at all except for possibly one missing railing.

This place was great. Quick walk to the slopes. All the amenities are included to eating in and enjoy a quiet time after a long day on the slopes!

Convenient location across from parking lot. Short walk to the stores and slopes. Also easy access to free buses to go to main street or deer valley. Beds are comfortable. Fireplace was a nice touch. Some of the decor was a little dated but overall a great place and we enjoyed our stay. Good for a family of 4 but wouldn't recommend any more guests. It was tight with 4 people at dinner table as is. Would recommend condo and would come back!

I walked in to a disaster. building materials were literally at the entrance of my door on arrival. The water was shut off for hours on one occasion also WITHOUT NOTICE. There were men pounding outside my window where i was forced to close off my mountain view and eventually asked them to leave as i could not take the noise anymore. Scaffolding, building materials, and ladders forced us to walk around to other entrances that had even more stairs.
I arrived to the room after check in time, but slightly earlier than what i told the host. when i arrived, the housekeeper was there cleaning, still. Although i arrived slightly early, there is no way she would have had time to allow the bedding to finish washing, dry it, and make the beds before my stated arrival time.

Short walk to mountain village ski lifts, underground parking garage, wet sauna shower, heated floors, well stocked kitchen. Great communication with the host who provides very clear details of everything we needed to know. We'd certainly consider staying here again next time in Park City.

The condo is conveniently located 300 ft from the ski resort, only a short walk to get there. It is also very close to a variety of stores and restaurants. There is a parking garage at the first floor so shoveling snow in the morning is not needed. Host is very easy to communicate and offers plenty helps. Would like to stay again.

Two weeks of wonderful skiing in Park City. The location is a short walk to the lifts. The unit is well provisioned with all one needs for an excellent vacation. It’s located near places to eat and places to purchase groceries to prepare at the unit. The unit is a bit dated and could use some improvements. The property manager was very helpful and responsive. Would stay here again next time in Park City.

We loved the location and the unit is very unique. Everything was as described and there is a steam shower which was a lovely surprise. The bay window sitting area was great and we really appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was. We enjoyed our stay but there were some quirks we would have like to know before paying peak prices. The layout doesn't feel as big as the square footage suggests - have to duck a lot. Really should only be booked by 2 adults and maybe a child. It is all open air so there is very little privacy. There's a large hole above the keypad through the door so didn't feel secure. The dryer was full of linens which we had nowhere to put out of the way. The bathroom door is so loud and squeaky it woke everyone up. The half bathroom sink is not useable due to sporadic temps and there is even a warning sign. So we were 3 adults having to share one bathroom. We were supposed to have 5 adults and can't imagine if 2 hadn't cancelled. Owner was kind and a great communicator but the place just needs some love. I know it's a rental in peak season but it was still a big expense. I think the place is charming and would have LOVED it if it was in better shape and just 2 people.

We came in to ski and enjoy Sundance and could not have been happier with our accommodations.
We were close to two bus stops and were approximately a five minute walk to the lifts. Steam in the shower and heated floors were an unexpected plus. We also had great underground parking accommodations. Very quiet, convenient location!!

This is a fun funky condo.
Positive: Owner is very nice and helpful. Some great fun spaces.
Negative: the 1/2 bath both faucets sometimes sends our very hot water. The door to the shower and toilet is falling apart and does not close. Cookie sheets, pie pans and flatware should be replaced.
Overall a good time

Stayed for 10 days over Christmas. Owner was fabulous. Home is short walk across the parking lot to the ski slopes and a very convenient to the town bus system. The shower is a steam spa that's amazing.
Home has some quirks though. It's up 2-3 flights of stairs from the street, no elevator, so getting luggage and groceries upstairs can be a struggle. Because it's the top floor, the ceiling is angled into the living space, as low as about 3 feet above the floor, so you need to be careful walking in some places to avoid bumping your head. And there's almost no privacy; bedroom doors are really windows and the master bedroom has open areas up high so that anyone in the living room can easily hear what's going on in the bedroom.
If you can work around the quirks, the place really is a great value and we'd stay again... maybe without the teenagers though.

We had a great week staying at the Empire House. The location is fantastic; easy access to all things Park City. The condo has lots a funky angles and is a very fun little space. Comfortable beds, all the kitchen stuff we needed and plenty of places to lounge. Only challenge was hauling all our gear up three steep flights of stairs. Good workout though!!

Exactly as advertised and even more! It's clear that the owners use the property as well. Very "at home" feel. And it's right across the main parking lot to the lifts up the mountains. Wd cooked 5 out of 7 nights and the kitchen, although a bit small, has everything you need and then some. A great week!!

Amazing location- so close to the slopes!! Literally across a parking lot to get to the resort base. Also walking distance to down-town, or you can catch one of the free buses within a couple blocks. Well-appointed with ample supply of cookware and kitchen supplies, as well as towels, blankets, everything that you’d need to be comfortable for a ski vacation. Modern shower with a bonus steam feature! Quirky architecture but very homy-feeling. Lots of space, perfect separation for our family of four. Host was very responsive. Would definitely go back.

Very comfortable space and outstanding location. Easy walk everywhere. Note it is 1.5 baths so might be cramped for more than 2-3 people.

Location is the best part of this apartment! It is located about 6-8 min walk to the ski lifts (payday and crescent lifts), 15 min walk to the Main Street, and 9 min free shuttle bus to Canyons. In addition, you’ll find everything you need in the apartment for a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed how warm and cozy it was. We would stay here again, thank you!
