We recently made some other upgrades to the condo including new mattresses and bedding, kitchen supplies and small appliances, décor, bathroom towels, and much more! Also recently installed are outdoor solar blinds to control temperature and light. Lastly, all new high bar style table and four chairs for the lanai.
ABOUT OUR UNIT
Our condo has an ocean front view from its private lanai, and from the living room, kitchen, and upstairs bedroom. Sit on the balcony, watch the sea turtles and whales, enjoy the breathtaking views, sunsets, rainbows, and relax! The snorkeling here is excellent! Many guests have commented that the snorkeling is the best part about staying here.
BEDROOMS
Both bedrooms are about the same size and each have their own bathroom. The upstairs bedroom (loft style) has two twin beds, a TV with cable and spectacular views. The downstairs bedroom has one king bed and a TV with cable. We recently bought all new bedding including linens, a down alternative comforter, and pillows. Ceiling fans are located in both bedrooms and the living room.
KITCHEN
The fully equipped kitchen has a microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven, conventional oven and stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher. In addition, we supply a variety of drinking glasses, wine glasses, dishes and bowls, bakeware, mixing bowls, pots and pans, and cooking/BBQ utensils.
LIVING ROOM
The living room has a sofa/bed and love seat, and a wall mounted 58" plasma HDTV and a DVD player.
BALCONY
The lanai has a lounge, new beautiful high bar style table, and four chairs. From the lanai, you can view the turtles and sometimes dolphins (and whales in season!)
ABOUT THE RESORT
The resort is a low rise, ocean front condominium resort located directly on the ocean and Honokeana Cove. The resort is located a few miles North of Lahaina and Kaanapali and just south of Kapalua Bay and Napili Bay. There is excellent snorkeling at the resort (Honokeana Cove).
Snorkeling is also good at Kapalua and Napili Bays, with-in easy walking distance. Golf and tennis are available at the Kapalua Resort. The Kapalua West Maui Airport is less than five minutes away. Kahului Airport is about a 50 minute drive.
The resort has two swimming pools, with nearby outdoor barbecue grills (both gas and charcoal), and picnic tables. Next door are two restaurants. At Napili Bay and at Kapalua there are several more excellent restaurants.
ABOUT THE BEACH
The beautiful Napili Bay white sand beach is just a short walk (about 150 yards) along an ocean front path. The beach is uncrowded and good for swimming, snorkeling, and boogie boarding. It is usually fairly calm as in the picture, but can get large waves in season. There is a very nice beach front restaurant at the end of the beach. It services breakfast, lunch and dinner.
You can use the A/C, or if you prefer there is a great breeze that blows through the unit with the windows open in the front and rear, with ceiling fans in all the rooms it is very comfortable. There is also an adjustable automatic solar shade on the balcony which will block 90% of sun entering the unit in the afternoon if you choose to have it down.
STATE TAX: Rates do not include Hawaii room tax of 14.42%,
MINIMUM STAY: 7 night minimum stay. However, bookings can be made for less that 7 nights, when available, within 30 days of arrival. 10 nights minimum during any period which includes Christmas Day or New Years Day.
OCCUPANCY: Maximum of 6 people
DEPOSITS: 50% deposit must be paid by credit card at time of reservation. Balance plus tax is due 45 days prior to scheduled arrival. Failure to pay balance 45 days prior to scheduled arrival shall result in an automatic cancellation of the reservation.
CANCELLATIONS: Deposit is refunded only if cancellations are made 120 days prior to scheduled arrival (less a $150 cancellation fee). Cancellations made less than 120 days prior to scheduled arrival will result in forfeiture of your full deposit.
Cancellations made less than 45 days prior to scheduled arrival will result in forfiture of all payments made. If we are able to rebook any portions of your canceled reservation.
CLEANING FEE: $250 cleaning fee.
PARKING: There is no parking fee. Each vehicle is required to have a parking pass. You can get a parking pass at the front desk upon your arrival.
SMOKING: This is a non smoking unit. In accordance with HawaII State Law, smoking is not permitted anywhere at Napili Point except for three designated outside areas.

Super low-key and functional space with a great view of the bay and (in April) turtles! We didn't use the bbq grills around the property but should have. A bunch of toys to use was a bonus as well as the fact that there's a surf spot you can paddle out to (Little Makaha) from the property!

We visit Maui every year, but this was our first time at Napili Point. Our host, Nick, was extremely communicative and responsive. The unit was wonderful and provided the most amazing views, and very comfortable beds and surroundings. We will definitely be back!

…and we can’t wait to come back. We didn’t spend all of our time at the condo, as there’s tons of things to see and do on Maui. However, we couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful place. The bay is even more beautiful than the pictures. Sea turtles, snorkeling, nice pool. We loved it here.

The other reviews were really helpful in preparing - but to reiterate a few key points from the listing :)
*View is absolutely spectacular, looking over the bay and out to the Pacific. You can see Lanai and Molokai. Bay is full of turtles!
*Bay below can be accessed by climbing over some rocks, as well as sneaking around to Napili Bay. You can also easily walk along road/down street to get to Napili Bay in 5-10 mins
*Condo is a Maui rental - the tropical climate and constant renters are hard on stuff. But it all worked and the kitchen had all the hardware we needed (there are sparse seasonings, nothing in fridge except a Britta).
*Paper goods, towels, soaps, etc were all provided in unit and worked well
*AC in each room helped give us a break from the humidity!
*Beach closet had broken-in snorkel gear, beach chairs, mats, umbrella and a used paddleboard on the deck (no boogie boards or towels that we saw)
*master bed was big and firm, extra pillows and blanket in closet
*didn't really use upstairs loft/second bedroom - but all looked great

My family loves Napili Point. This property is great. It was clean, well stocked, and the kids like the separate comfortable beds. Anyone one who stays here knows there are always turtles in the bay directly below the condo. Amazing snorkeling right here! This property is located minutes from other kid friendly sandy beaches to relax at with great snorkeling. Highly recommended!

What a great location and property. The views from the balcony are outstanding. Really good snorkeling in the bay and beacj access right around the corner. We were able to hike 5 miles every day from the condo as well. Thanks!

This was a perfect property for my family of 4...our 27 and 29 year old kids stayed upstairs. We liked that the master was on the main level. I was impressed with Nick's fast email responses to my questions during the booking process, prior to arriving and during our stay. The only reason I gave a 4 star for check in process was that the lockbox outside the front door is old and we had to do the code several times to open. One of the numbers sticks. It would work but was a pain to try and open and put back. We did have a couple of issues when we arrived, both toilets leaked and the upstairs ceiling fan was broken. However, once I reached out to Nick he had his maintenance guy there the next day and he repaired all the issues. Here is a list of ALL the positives of this great property...
*Location, location, location...easy to walk to Napili Beach and quick drive to other areas we wanted to explore. Easy walk to The Coastal Trail which is gorgeous!
*Clean unit, well stocked kitchens, comfortable beds, air conditioning.
*Honokeana Bay right outside the unit with great snorkeling and tons of turtles and fish!
*Gorgeous sunsets every night!!
*Well stocked kitchen.
*Beach Chairs a huge plus! Beach towels a bit worn but got the job done.
*Nice big TV in the main room and good ones in bedrooms.
*Washer and Dryer very helpful. Note the dryer vents into a plastic box.
*Automated screen that we could lower at our convenience for the huge, double story windows in the main room. Helped keep the main room cooler in the afternoon sun.

This was a very nicely appointed and well-stocked condo with an incredible location - Honokeana Cove in front that is full of turtles, and Napili Bay with its gorgeous sandy beach right around the corner via a foot path. Nick was great as a host and the condo was air conditioned which is a huge plus in the warmer months.

Pros: turtles, turtles, turtles. Excellent snorkeling right outside of the condo. Patio was perfectly positioned to watch the turtles. Air conditioning! Comfy bedding.
Cons: older unit clearly used entirely as rental with deferred maintenance (toilet ran, sink dripped, not quite enough dishes and reasonable glasses for full time eating in condo). Not quite enough seating for 4 of us to relax together but what was there worked well. I’d definitely stay in the area again and for our family the turtles and snorkeling access made up for some of what this unit lacked.

You can’t beat the location and the view. Snorkel with turtles right outside your balcony or make a short walk to Napili beach. The unit is a little old but you won’t spend a ton of time hanging out in it. The beds are comfortable and the water is hot. We will repeat.

Excellent Stay at Napili Point
Really enjoyed our stay at Napili Point. Condo was just the right size and the teenage kids really appreciated having two separate beds in upstairs loft. Location overlooks bay with several sea turtles visible at any given time. We appreciated the all-tile floors as it is better for our allergies. Owner was easy to work with as we have to make some schedule changes early on. Only surprise is that the dryer does not vent to outside but instead into a bucket of water. It kind of heats up the unit, but not as bad as one would think. Would stay here again.

Amazing Location
Great spot facing one of the best snorkeling coves on the island. No need to book expensive snorkeling tours when you stay here. Safe the cash for another experience. Having the washer and dryer in the condo was amazing! We had a family of 5 ranging from 9-45 years in age and we all loved it. Thank you!!

It's also great to have good air conditioning that cuts the humidity and makes for good sleeping in my opinion. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view is beautiful and we were steps away from snorkeling with the turtles and trumpet fish. They have snorkeling masks and fins which was super helpful. The location is perfect with a coffee shop and grocery store minutes away. We would definitely stay there again.
