We had a wonderful stay. The rental was clean, and loved all the decor, ranging from board games, to the DVDs, magazines, books and most of all the record player!!!!!! Host was quick to respond and appreciated how easy it was to check in and check out.

Great stay. Check in was easy. Everything we needed was in the house. Enjoyed the pool for hours!

This was a nice house with all the amenities needed. We’d stay here again. But did not love the noise ordinance. Our stay would have been better if we could have enjoyed it with music at the pool.

A large mid century modern home with comfortable living room / kitchen, multiple bedrooms and lots of outdoor space. We used it for a visit with adult children and grand children, who enjoyed the outdoor space. Large dining table worked well with crew. A great base for experiencing Palm Springs or vegging in the yard. Only negative is that kitchen could be better equipped with basic dishes and equipment but we managed. Appreciated Xmas tree and decorations.

We had a wonderful experience at this Palm Springs home. The property manager Nick was very helpful and prompt at answering any questions/concerns. When we arrived the air conditioner was unfortunately not working properly, but a repair man was called and it was fixed as soon as possible. The outdoor music restriction that the city of Palm Springs enforces was strange but the property gave us several reminders and warnings so we did not forget and get fined. The decor of the home was perfect for the location. The pool, spa, and outdoor areas were exactly what we hoped for. I would definitely recommend this property for family and friend gatherings.

Celebrated my 40th here. Property was really cute. Loved the pool and outdoor area.

Visited with 4 other ladies and had a fabulous time. The house is close (5 min drive) to various grocery stores and coffee shops. Also, a <$10 Lyft ride to downtown.

We booked this house between two families of 4 (four adults and four elementary school-aged kids in total). We stayed here at the end of March/early April.
Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The layout of the house perfectly lended itself to move between the pool and outdoor seating and the indoor living space. We ate most dinners at the table outside and played bocce while watching the sun set. The pool was really nice and perfectly clean. The saltwater pool was much preferred to a traditional chlorine pool because the chemicals don’t smell as strongly and are easier on the hair/skin.
Check in was really easy and straightforward. Jerry was responsive to anything we needed. The house was clearly set up to be easy to navigate, with a networked music system and identical TV set ups in each room. The decor gives a real Palm Springs experience and it felt like a tranquil escape.
Palm Springs does have a noise ordinance that kept us from playing music outside but really didn’t detract from our stay at all. At first I was nervous that the kids playing could be an issue but it wasn’t at all.
As a note, this house didn’t have shared pantry ingredient, likely due to COVID. Plan to bring the basics if you want to cook.

Overall the property was nicely situated and appointed, but, if you are staying here you may want to check under the beds, because it looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. However, this was not even the biggest issue. In the process of booking the room, we opted to pay extra to open/heat the pool and spa. We arrived on a Sunday, and everything was fine. On Monday, the jackhammering started. It was directly behind a wooden wall separating the properties. Throughout the week, it seemed the jackhammering was actually getting closer to the wooden wall, reaching its crescendo on Thursday and Friday of our stay. Thursday and Friday it started at 7am and finished at 7pm, so the option to even go outside to use the pool and spa was off the table. It sounded like a construction zone, and really defeated the purpose of having the outdoor space. I wish I could say the noise was better inside, but it really was not, giving us no escape from the constant jarring noise of the jackhammer. I contacted Nick on Thursday, and he actually indicated that he could hear the jackhammering through the phone during our call, and I was calling from inside the house. He said that there was nothing much he could do, but he was going to contact the owner to come by and survey the situation and call me back. Well, that never happened. When I returned home, I called Jerry at vrbo, and he said Nick was the person to talk to and that he would have Nick contact me. Well, as of now, I have not heard from Nick and I did not want to write this review until he at least had the courtesy to contact me to discuss the situation. Fortunately, there were four adults with no children. I can't imagine having kids and wanting to use the facilities, under the circumstances. This property really should not have been rented at all while this construction is going on. It turned our peaceful getaway into a jackhammering nightmare. No communication or resolve has been offered to us. Overall, a bad experience.

This is a wonderful property, located in a great area of Palm Springs. Love the mid-century vibe and the fact that the owner has gone to great lengths to add the details. We were thrilled to have a mid-century style Christmas tree during our stay--it added so much! The backyard is an oasis and we spent most of our time in the pool, hot tub, conversation area, fire pit and outside dining areas, even though it was December! We all had our own space! The property management company was great to deal with and handled questions and some minor issues very quickly. Would definitely recommend this property and hope to stay there again soon!

We have an Annual Girls Trip every year with several of us 50+ year olds who have been friends since at least junior high. We typically have stayed in the desert area during our multi-decade tradition. This year we landed on this adorable home in Palm Springs.
Shannon, with the property management, was very sweet and helpful throughout the entire process, thank you!
The home was just as pictured in the VRBO website, simply adorable! Fun albums and turntable, comfy beds, vintage games, loaded kitchen, great backyard complete with pool, hot tub, barbecue, sitting and dining areas and bocce ball. Close to grocery shopping and not too far from other shopping areas and restaurants. There is a handbook at the house with names of nearby places, instructions on how to use the houseshold emenities and check-out policies. Thank you to Jerry for going over all of the "virtual walk through" items upon arrival too (we visited during the Covid 19 pandemic).
No real complaints, we had everything we needed and plenty of room to enjoy our visit. The pool could use some attention, but otherwise the house was amazing! We loved it!
The only thing I that made our stay really uncomfortable was the Palm Springs Noise Ordinance. Wow! We had a hard time enjoying ourselves at a whisper outside, it made for a very "different" experience. We realize it is not the owner or property manager's fault, but 100% the city's rules. However, it did put a damper on being able to enjoy ourselves as we weren't sure how extreme the rule enforcements actually were. We are not heavy partiers or loud (on purpose) but we felt we couldn't laugh out loud or even talk much above a whisper. We did hear several houses around the property being extremely loud with loud music and laughter (and smelled quite a bit of pot smoking). Just something to consider when renting a residential home in Palm Springs.
We would have loved to have this be a recurring home to rent for our trips, however with the noise ordinance, we will probably not be back to Palm Springs, it just made it too uncomfortable. The house, however, was outstanding.
THANK YOU FOR THE ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC HOME!!!!
Shannon, Nick, and Jerry.... wonderful experience on all of your parts, thank you!

We had an amazing time staying at Silver Linings with four adults and four kids. The house was exactly as depicted and the property managers were incredibly helpful and responsive whenever we had questions. Having such a comfortable, well-appointed house definitely made traveling with four young children easier than anticipated. We'd love to come again!

Birthday Weekend Success
We booked this house for my birthday weekend with 4 of my girlfriends and the house was just as beautiful as it is pictured! Jerry was at the house ready for us for our check in and a rundown of the property. The pool is absolutely beautiful, we had plenty of rooms and bathrooms for all 5 of us girls, and the kitchen was well stocked with all of the necessary cooking and cocktail essentials (less a dish scrubber, which we couldn't find - maybe add one of those for ease of washing dishes - we used a washcloth which worked fine). I would highly recommend this place as an adults getaway as well as a family friendly vacation home. In fact, I might even bring my daughter back purely for the pool! This was my first Palm Springs experience and it was a great one! Thank you :)

Perfection in Palm Springs
The property was even better than the pictures. The house slept 8 women comfortably. The outside was absolutely dreamy! We were a little nervous about how much fun we would have, given the noise restrictions in Palm Springs, but we did yoga on the back lawn turf, painted wine glasses on the backyard table, lounged in the pool, and spent every morning drinking coffee under the pergola without any complaints. Would return again and again

Clean and spacious. Went down with 4 tall youths and 4 adults. Once the futon beds were outfitted with air mattresses on top, comfort for all was had. Great pool deck. Almost a bit too quiet with the outside noise bylaw in this area but we survived.

Had a girls weekend for four of us and the house was perfect. House was amazing and so colorful for Palm Springs. Was absolutely perfect!! We can’t wait to come back!

Bigger and nicer than the pics reveal!
The house was so cool! Super fun decor, awesome and very well equipped kitchen (with condiments and spices too) and fantastic backyard! The beds were very comfortable and the linens were nice.Perfect place if you want to relax, be together and just enjoy the space!

Relaxing atmosphere, everything we needed
First - the property management company was very easy to deal with and prompt. They allowed us to check in 3 hours early, which was awesome. Jerry and Nick were kind, laid back, helpful, super responsive, and not at all obtrusive.
Second - the house itself is adorable, the yard is impeccable, and has everything you could want or need, and some things you wouldn't expect but were appreciated such as a record player with record collect, games, pool floaties, potpourri spray for the bathroom, and a first aid kit.
My only "complaint" is that the fourth bedroom was advertised as able to sleep two adults on futons. It should be advertised that these futons only can accommodate two very short adults. The fold out futons are about 5' long each.

Dejlig feriebolig med god plads
God feriebolig til prisen. Virker lidt slidt, men hyggeligt.
Dejligt køkken og uderum

Price + Quality + Location = A+
Very reasonable place for the money, good size pool, big backyard, updated kitchen and other areas, tv with lots of programming in every room, responsive service, game room/ bedroom full of games and additional videos. Can't wait to go back again.

BEAUTIFUL property, we LOVED it!!
It was absolutely beautiful!! So spacious and well laid out. It was a mid-century modern paradise, from the architecture to the decor. The pool area and entire outside were gorgeous too. The location was perfect and the views were pristine. The value was unreal. Nick and Renee were so easy to work with and extremely responsive. We could not have been happier and we will definitely be back. HIGHLY recommend.

Beautiful, comfortable, quintessential Palm Springs oasis
A group of my friends and family stayed here to escape San Diego's June gloom, and we could not have been more impressed with our entire trip!
THE HOUSE:
We loved the mod colors and pop art throughout the house (with a zen touch!), the layout (my husband and I stayed in the master suite on one side of the house while the other side is ideal for another couple and singles/kids), and the amenities.
The backyard is complete oasis! The pool and spa are actually much larger than the photos make them appear, but if you hate cold water we definitely recommend paying to have it heated before you arrive; luckily, we are all used to the cold Pacific Ocean! The guys played Bocce Ball in the grass area about 90% of the time we were there, and there are tons of indoor and outdoor spaces for the whole group to hang out and be together.
We brought a lot of food and drinks with us, but we loved Blaze Pizza just a few minutes away (we did takeout), and there are tons of grocery and liquor stores nearby. The house is also very well stocked with utensils and appliances (coffee maker, blender, grilling tools, etc), as well as bed linens and towels - so you do not have to worry about packing anything.
THE OWNER:
Nick and his property manager, Shannon, were extremely responsive since the beginning. Nick answered all of my questions and messages thoroughly and honestly, and were very helpful getting us checked-in and settled. They were even able to accommodate a late check-out on Monday (for a fee) so we could enjoy the house a day longer!
I couldn't recommend this house more!!

futons uncomfortable, no closets in 2 rooms, no AC, no music, and you will be watched like a hawk
It's advertised as a 4 bedroom, but 2 of the rooms don't have closets (or anywhere for you to put your clothes). The thermostat is LOCKED at 76 degrees- which is anything but comfortable when it's a scalding 98+ degrees outside. They give you 2 keys for 8 people. The pool was filthy, an alarm kept going off in the twin bedroom every morning from around 3am until about 6am for absolutely no reason, we weren't sure if it was a smoke detector or a carbon monoxide detector, but either way it was frightening ( and not very conducive for a relaxing getaway), there wasn't enough silverware- how are you going to advertise this place is for 8 overnight and 12 daytime guests if you only have 6 forks? our dinner sat on the table cold while we had to go out to the store and buy plastic ware because we weren't all able to eat at the same time. In the master there were gross stains on the wall above the bathtub, the shower was corroded and barely spit out enough water to get you clean, and the linens had holes in them. The futons were hard as rocks- my guests had to pull the patio cushions inside and lay them on top every night and the door from their bathroom to the backyard wouldn't lock (which was concerning considering we never knew when someone from the property would "pop up"). We were basically hounded by the property management- we were never informed of any cameras on the property until we arrived, the property manager came over and walked through the entire house and backyard hours after he had already met us for check in (like he was trying to catch us breaking the rules or something), then he proceeded to tell us he would be "driving by" several times over the weekend- our group consisted of people ages 48-25, no one needed a babysitter. We were uncomfortable and on edge the whole time feeling like we were going to get in trouble or kicked out at any minute for anything. How are you going to give us a house with tons of records and then threaten us that we will be kicked out if we play any music? Our weekend getaway felt more like a weekend in prison- that we paid thousands of dollars for. Some of us have been renting homes in Palm Springs for over 10 years, and I can tell you this is by far the worst experience we've had....we surely will not be renting from this company in the future, and I suggest you avoid them as well.
