Rien !

The hostess was amazing! She spoke conversational English and was always so sweet and kind. Some of the profits from the BnB go towards helping children with food insecurities. She makes a delicious homemade and traditional Japanese breakfast. The view from her backyard is breathtaking. There are two rooms that face towards the stream, one is a bunk bed and the other a double bed. Make sure to get those rooms if you want a peaceful view.
If you are sensitive to noise, this might not be the choice because you can hear the cars from the main street.

Kimie-san is the most wonderful, warm host I’ve ever met! Her breakfasts are so yummy and filled me up for the whole day! The room was very comfortable and I loved the view of the river! Meeting Kimie-san is so worth the stay!

Kimie is a fantastic host, very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is just 20minutes by walk from the Railstation. The view on the river was so nice. Typical japanese breakfast !
The bunk beds were just a little bit too small for us.

The breakfast was delicious and so big. We didn't need to eat lunch, breakfast carried us through the day. It's an easy 5-10 walk to nearby historic temples that are less touristy and that serve traditional matcha and sweets in the most beautiful settings. We walked to temples, the beach and to the touristy komachi dori. We also took the bus which was very easy. The bus at the train station will be in spots 4 and 5. It's the easiest to use your welcome suica card, but the bus will also take cash and give you change. Swipe your suica when you get on and then when you get off. Any bus in those two spots labeled 4 and 5 will take you to her street and then it's a short walk to her bnb. Message the host for the name of the stop, but even if you miss it the stop after hers is not that far away either. The bnb signage is good, so you can easily find it. All buses at the stop nearest to her bnb go into the main area of town. Since she's a little out of the way, it's a lot less crowded and there are still a good amount of cafes, restaurants and shops within walking distance. The bed was the most comfortable bed we slept in during our trip. We normally get up at least once every night but we felt so relaxed at her place we slept through the night. The room was decent size, we had a smaller room in shinjuku. Even though you have to take turns using the shower/tub, she keeps it quite clean. It looked and felt cleaner than in hotels. It's also a very large bathroom for Japan. Coffee isn't included in the breakfast, but since I'm a coffee lover I paid the additional price for it and it was such a lovely experience. It's better than going to a cafe and we went to several nearby cafes. She gave us cookies to go with the coffee which was nice and strong and it was served in such a lovely way too. I loved the entire experience and would return again. We met other guests who regularly return to her bnb, one said it was his 10th year there.
Nothing.

Kimie was a wonderful host - great to meet her and learn more about Japanese life. Breakfast was so memorable and different type of fish daily. I really look forward to them, made the whole experience feel very local. Hotel is by a little creek and double room has a cute balcony looking over the river with great natural light (try book that one if available).
Great location as well. Good hot showers with decent water pressure.
There was nothing particular I didn't like but reading through some of the other comments and then comparing to my experience -
1. Hotel is around 15 mins walk from the station which I though was fine. With luggage you want to get the bus over - it's 178 yen for one trip and takes like 5 mins etc.
2. Bikes - the bikes on the property are not private, it's a public share bike system. You'll need to download the HELLOCYCLING app - to get the SMS code to activate, you'll need to have either a japanese number OR get your international number connected to Google Voice to get the SMS. There are buses most places, but cycling is the fastest way to get around. They are e-bikes , good to get up hills.
3. Some folks have commented on the main road, when I had ear plugs in - I heard very little to nothing.

Kimi the host is really nice and welcoming. The breakfest is good.
The place is a little far from the beach and from the train station. The curfew at 10pm is a little early for people on holidays. And contrary to what is said on Booking, there is no bicycle rental in the guesthouse, except through an application which is not available to foreigners.

Kimie is a great host: a super nice person - and an excellent cook!
Also, we loved that our room had a balcony overlooking a romantic creek. And everyone staying at the B&B has access to a terrace overlooking that same creek.
Away from the creek, the B&B borders on a busy road.

If you want an authentic experience in Kamakura with the feeling that you are staying with locals and great hospitality, then go for this place. Kimie-san was an amazing host, very friendly and made my short stay in Kamakura even better than it would have been.

The host was super nice, she prepared delicious Japanese breakfast for us every morning. The house is also spotless clean. The host also cooks for children from low-income families which is super wholesome
The room isn’t sound-proof, but if you’re tired enough from the day this shouldn’t bother you

Kimie-san is such a joy to be around! The room was small but very cozy, the house has a lovely balcony and a kotatsu that was very comfortable in cold nights. Kimie-san tells you all the good sightseeing spots nearby and how to get there and cooks a delicious traditional japanese breakfast. Everything has a homely feeling, and I felt extremely welcomed. I would recommend it to anyone who visits Kamakura!

Super friendly atmosphere. We, family with three kids, came to this B&B (more so than hotel) straight from a luxury hotel downtown Tokyo. At Kimie's we slept in comfy beds and had traditional Japanese breakfast, proved to be a bit hard for the kids but good experience.
For the price, nothing really.

The breakfast was so good, full of nutritious dishes with a home cook feel! Our host is also amiable, kind, and understanding. The facilities are well-equipped and clean. We greatly appreciate the experience and we definitely will come back in the future~

A lovely little B&B a short bus trip from Kamakura station (also can walk, but wouldn't want to with luggage). There is a beautiful view of a small river and if the weather is good, you can eat breakfast outside and enjoy the view. Facilities all well maintained with small shared kitchen area and a nice bathroom. Breakfast (made by Kimie) was delicious. Kimie was very kind and helpful.
If you would rather be in a more central location or closer to the station, this probably wouldn't be the best option. In summer the noise of the cicadas was quite loud, but that's to be expected from Japan summer. Because the property is just off a fairly busy road, trucks going past would cause a bit of noise and slight rattling/vibrating occasionally. Possibly not great for light sleepers.

My son brought his viola. The owner lady Kimie san is so lovely and chilled, she allowed us to have a quick practice, which was brilliant! The kids playing area is so cosy, my two absolutely loved it!! Here at B&B Kimie, washing machine and drier are available. The nice, clean bathroom is available right at the entrance, so I could hop on to it whenever I need. Nicely chilled Japanese tea is in the fridge and it is free of charge. Home made lunch is also available.

I loved my stay at B&B Kimie. It was centrally located in Kamakura. It had a beautiful view of the river. It was so pleasant to sit outside during the evening. The room was comfortable and had AC, also with an excellent view of the river. The breakfast was delicious and healthy. The host was so kind and excited to practice her English with us.
There were a good number of mosquitos down by the river, but that is to be expected this time of year. Just a heads up!

Owner is so lovely and energetic. Had a short but nice talk while having her delicious breakfast.
Very good location, although the trucks passing by the road makes the house shake a bit. But nothing that disturbed my sleep.

Excellent hospitality! Kimie is so kind and friendly. She speaks English well enough. We stayed with 3 y.o. kid. The host has toys for children. Our daughter even asks to come back again.
Kimie prepared delicious breakfast. Terrace is cute with beautiful flower.
We are planning to come back again.
House is near a road and it's a little bit noisy in the night time.
