The 1 star review was unwarranted. Was not even in the neighborhood the rental was in.
Neighborhood is safe clean, great location. Kids riding bikes around, playing basketball etc. never once felt threatened or worried about my rental car or house broken into etc.
5 star for me. Police patrol the neighborhood on a regular basis.
Highly recommend this place. Parking off street also. Within walking distance of restaurants.

We arrived with no issues by google maps and directions listed in our welcome email. We found our marked parking area off the main street. The entire property is fully fenced with multiple simple to use and well maintained gates dividing the other 3 rentals on the property. We had no issues moving our things into the home. Our three older dogs were grateful for the well kept lawn that they could play in while we got settled in. Inside everything was very clean and organized, simple open areas without clutter. We appreciated having a full kitchen and laundry room as well. Bedroom and bathroom was very clean and well maintained. We had work in town and it was only a quick drive from this property to the office and places to get food. We highly recommend staying here especially if you have dogs that love to travel with you like we do. We had no issues with the area during our stay there is some foot traffic as expected throughout the day and a bus stop close by but nothing really within walking distance for shopping or food. We plan to be back in Anchorage this winter and will be using this property again for our stay. Thank you Michele for the hospitality and enjoyable stay!

We were so happy with this property. It was in a quiet neighborhood, right in the middle of Anchorage. We were never far from anything we needed and was a great home base for seeing south central Alaska. We would definitely come back!

Perfect place for a stay in Anchorage. We did a four night stay and found this to be a cute little home with fabulous flower gardens. Inside was super spacious, with comfortable bed, a sweet great room to stretch out and super clean. The kitchen had everything you could think of to cook like you do at home.
The flower gardens were a bonus and staying in mid-July allowed us to see so much color and variety.
This property is centrally located. The cab ride from the Alaska Railroad Deport was only $10! Lots of shopping close by and many sights and activities were minutes away. Host Michele was quick to respond to our questions and has added many nice touches here. It is perfect for for two!

Been to all 50 states now! The cottage and it's outside plants and flowers were very nice. Nice cozy, warm and welcome feel.
Place was well equipped and very clean. A good location to start day trips from.
Would recommend the cottage to others and stay again.

It had everything we needed, including a laundry room which was great to use after being in Alaska for more than a week. It can even survive a 4.7 earthquake!

It was a perfect stay for three nights. Super clean and comfy for the three of us. Personal parking and yard a bonus for our little princess puppy. Michelle a great host.

We checked in property then unpacked. Drove to dinner. On drive to dinner noticed cars on blocks, men loitering surrounding neighborhood. On way back from dinner wanted to go to Walmart. Walmart’s parking lot had a lot of homeless people hanging around. My wife would not get out of car. Drove back to property and packed up our luggage and rented another property in Wasilla, Ak.

5 stars is not enough! Our stay at this charming, cozy, convenient and clean GUEST HOUSE was wonderful.So many warm and welcoming little things made you feel at home quickly. It was a blessing to experience this home.Michele is above and beyond a SUPER HOSTESS!

We were pleasantly surprised with this rental. It is the cleanest rental we have stayed in. It was well stocked, the owner tried to think of everything. High quality sheets and towels are always a plus. We will recommend this place to our friends.

We fully enjoyed our stay! The location made it easy to get everywhere we wanted to go, the unit was stocked with everything we needed and wanted, and Michele was a delightful person to work with! We would be happy to rent from her again if we come back to Anchorage!

Michele was very easy to work with and responsive. I wasn't a fan of the bed or sofa, they were too soft. But that is a personal preference and nothing to do with the quality (which you can tell the mattress was very high quality). My dog loved the fenced yard and just a block down is an elementary school with a walking track.

I've been traveling for 3.5 months at this point in our journey and by far this was the best. Everything was perfect. Very greatful for Michelle and her fantastic communication. She even had pet bowls and treats for both our critters.

Super clean, well appointed rental conveniently located in lively area of Anchorage. Michele takes care of every detail including fine chocolates for humans and dog bowls and treats for your pups. Fenced yard is a plus. Highly recommend.
