We really enjoyed our stay and feel in love with the area. It was the perfect place to stay as a base to go to different cities while we were there.

My husband, dogs and i stayed for 4 nights. We loved the large, open backyard. The home was clean, and stocked with everything you need. The trail behind the house was a bonus, we walked it every morning with the pups! Definitely recommend this property. Thank you!

Quiet, nice view of nature, private back yard. Stair rail on porch had two sharp screws sticking out that my wife caught her T-shirt on. That should be fixed. Everything thing else was fine.

We came to Michigan to attend the Total Archery Challenge. It was the perfect location to get to Crystal Mountain.

My friends and I wanted to venture and explore the Sleeping Bear Dunes and Northern Michigan for a few days but didn't want to be directly in Traverse City. This stay was peaceful, private, and perfectly located for us. When I had a question, Dusty, the owner, responded in no time which was incredibly nice. The property was beautiful, clean, and even more than what we expected. We will definitely stay again if we come back.

It was perfect for our needs. Super close to Crystal Mountain for skiing. I would highly recommend!

We went skiing every day and this place was great to come back to. The washer and dryer were a nice touch and the walking trails on the property were nice for walking the dog around. We will be staying again.

This was a great spot to use as a basecamp for exploring the Traverse City area with my husband and 2 dogs. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, and the yard was great for the dogs to run around. I recommend checking out Iron Fish Distillery!

Comfortable space for oulolocatr family of four and our two dogs. Had everything we needed to enjoy Northwest Michigan area! Quiet location. Our dogs also had a great time on the properties trails! Will hope to visit again.

We absolutely loved our stay. The property was extremely welcoming, clean, bright, private, quiet, well-stocked, and overall PERFECT! We were overjoyed to see this property is pet friendly which is a requirement for our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful time and look forward to returning again!

My sister got married at Crystal Mountain resort. Having a two year old, I wanted something with a kitchen, and I wanted to stay in the same place Thursday- Monday as packing and unpacking is quite a job with a toddler, and I couldn't find that at the resort. There is an amazing walking trail on the property from which you can see the ski lift at the resort, which is a short drive away. Over the weekend, I learned that the resort is so big, you have to drive from place to place on it anyway and I thought the little bit of driving I had to do to get there was pretty comparable to the driving my sister had to do on the resort to get from her townhouse to the wedding ceremony and reception. Plus I had a much bigger and more private yard for my dog. I definitely ended up with the best place and deal of all my family, some of which drove 1/2 an hour from their hotels to the wedding. For being so small, I was surprised that not only did it have everything I needed but also plenty of space for everything I packed. No complaints at all!

We were able to quickly access Sleeping Bear Dunes and Lake Michigan.

This property was large, nicely kept, and perfectly shaded for the 90° weather we had!! Needed a place in the area on short notice and met our needs just fine 🙂

We had a wonderful time staying here. We had a nice spring day and turned off the heat to open the windows for a minute, and there were some paper towels stuffed in the screen that smelled a little bit smoky, and some of the linens smelled a little bit smoky. But other than that and a few issues below, everything was perfection. There was a problem with figuring out the small trash bags. There was no detergent for the laundry that I could find, but we borrowed a pinch from a friend so it was all good. The hot water only lasted 30 minutes so it was hard to wash dishes, laundry, and shower in one morning. The property was clean and we'll stocked and kept. The property was delightful, and they were open to accepimg our sweet kitty to visit too. We had a blast and would love to return.

George's retreat made for a comfortable stay. Perfect location to many nearby attractions. The grounds are beautiful. Great outdoor seating area with a fireplace. We'd stay there again.
