La localización, la tranquilidad, y las instalaciones.
Recomiendo
Hay que pedir que te limpie la habitación y la presión del agua viene y va.

First of all: Lovely manager who helped out anytime. Had really tasty breakfasts here. Only 4 rooms so it feels quite small, which is perfect. Beuatiful designed building. Would recommend.

Lovely staff which was helpful and could always be approached in person or via WhatsApp. It was a clean house and room. A 5 minutes drive away from general Luna (GL), and therefore rather calm. Ideally you can drive a scooter, otherwise you need to call for any commute a cab, since restaurants and everything else are in GL.

I'm thankful for the fact that after transferring from another hotel that gave me such a terrible experience, Diwa was prompt and available, no questions asked. The staff were nice and welcomed me with open arms even in such a short notice. Traveling can be stressful, but it helps ease the noise when you can stay in not only a beautiful and peaceful spot but also very comfortable place like Diwa.
I almost have no complaints. The place gave me all the freedom I can experience in a hotel. The downside is the commute. Not a lot of trikes pass by so it takes bit of waiting.

The ladies give you a warm welcome at arrival. Their accommodation is a bit out of town which makes it very relaxt. Rooms are big and clean, shower is warm. And they have a kitchen area that you can use. Internet is relatively stable for the Phillippines so that is a plus! You can work here.
And they have a great cat called Louis who guards the territory. :)

It was clean.
Water in dispenser at common kitchen taste bad. For the price of the room it was lacking a tv, or an electric kettle. But staff were helpful.

NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL
Our family came to Diwa after long travel and we were really looking forward to it. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!!
The place was closed, we had to wait for someone half hour to welcome us and then she said that unfortunately we they can't host us due to an electricity shutdown that they had a day before and still the sir condition not working and they don't have other solution (like fan).
We were shocked and had to find an ad-hoc alternative that ended to be double in the price!
We were VERY disappointed from their approach. It seems that they couldn't care less...
We've had the feeling that simply prefer to leave the place closed instead of having us due to low capacity.

Delicious omelet for breakfast. Great staff always ready to help.
The water in the room smells like urine! This is unacceptable!
The workers started banging on the roof with hammers at 7 am! The pillows are very uncomfortable! Not a lot of shade for breakfast. Sitting in the sun is very hot!

Nicely decorated rooms and bathrooms. Nice lush garden to have breakfast in every morning. Staff is very nice and welcoming. Quiet AC. They will arrange anything you need. A special thank you to Jay Anne who really brightens up the place with her kindness and smile.
Small details that didn’t bother our stay but might be worth mentioning: sheets felt polyester-y (like not soft cotton), pillows are of low quality (we had to ask to change but seems like they are almost all the same), more hangers on the clothes rack. But all in all a very nice stay.

Diwa was great. The location is in a quiet area but still just a few minutes ride to get to the main area with restaurants, etc. The rooms and facilities are clean and well maintained. The staff are fantastic! I also really liked having a fridge and kitchen in the common area. There are only 5 rooms- just the perfect size for the homestay.
I wish there were more hooks or places to hang clothes up for storage but also to dry, especially since you often have wet clothes or towels from going to the beach. Maybe a simple wooden clothes hanging rack and some hangers would work in the space. Particularly since it rains or is damp sometimes, so you can't hang stuff outside to dry.

It was just next to the first bnb we stayed at. Bed is comfortable.
The fabric conditioner they use in sheets and other linen is too strong that I couldn't sleep properly. No visible staff so wasn't able to tell them my departure, had to just leave the key somewhere at the dining.

The staff
In the morning is noisy, dog barking, roasters, local speaking loud, I couldn't sleep good and properly. Room small

We loved our stay! The room was cute, I appreciated the shower gel, hand soap and sanitizer in the room. The linen and towels were changed on request. The Diwa online magazine was a nice touch. The staff was really really nice and friendly. We rented a scooter for 4 days for 400 pesos per day. There was good hot water and reception wifi was good. We could also use the shared kitchen to make breakfast. On the first day we could even use the blender, but then they decided that it was not for guests to use :D You can also order breakfast on spot. There is a nice garden, but there could be a few lounge chairs. There is also a rooftop area which is not in use, but a few plants and sun loungers would make it beautiful.
You definitely need a scooter as the location is quite remote. The beach is close but getting there is not straightforward. We ended up going through someone’s backyard. During the night and early morning, there can be a lot of noise (dogs, roosters, people) and the windows are not really soundproof. It would be nice to know the housekeeping schedule - how often is linen and towels changed or if it’s only upon request.

Staff was very nice. Clean and very peaceful. Room is straight-forward... comfortable bed, pretty small work area and clean restroom. Overall, budget-wise, it's okay. if you're looking for a location in Siargao that's peaceful, consider this.

We had 4 wonderful days at Eco- House. Jean and Theresa gave us a warmly welcome. and do a great job.
It's a quiet place a bit outside. Restaurants and bars are 5 min. with motorcycle away. Rooms have AC and hot water shower.
Just preparing breakfast took a bit long

Would really recommend and will stay again. Fantastic staff and loved the shared kitchen.
Internet speed but that's something they can't help with unfortunately.

I like how cleaned the place is and also it's price. The owner is so accommodating and kind.
Well the WiFi is not that stable and slow (globe data is much better). Our room was the cheapest room but I was expecting a cabinet but there wasn't any (I would recommend to add a hanging area just in case the guest wanted to hang their wet clothes)

the hotel is absolutely beautiful, the staff were extremely kind and helpful.
beautiful kitchen for those who like to cook.
there are construction works every morning which where a big loud.
the location is a bit far from the main area, but the staff assisted us in getting a motorbike, which solves that problem.

Nice spot away from the hustle of GL back in the trees. Convenient location near Union and Malenao beaches, as well as a short ride to Paradise and Giwam surf spots. Also, Nicole is there if you have any questions, or if you need to find some spots. She is great ☺️
Nothing to dislike. As they inform you on their website and when you book, the island boom is picking up and there are some new places being built next door. Construction starts around 8 a.m. fyi. That being said, you are on an island so get outside and enjoy!

The room and hotel looks very good. Different places where you can go in a short distance. And lots more with a tricycle ride of 5-10.minutes. The host Nicole was also very friendly. She helped with everything we asked for.
