No heating. Very cold on arrival. Hoped the central heating would have been on a timer and switched on early evening but it wasn’t. No one on site.
3.4
The bed was comfy, complimentary tea & coffee etc, help-yourself breakfast idea, good selection for breakfast
Windows in room did not shut. Shower head was not secure. No bowls for breakfasts. The kettle had bits floating in the bottom.
3.4
They didn’t provide the rooms we booked and there was no one there to sort out the issue and we had to move to another hotel
3.4
Easy to find, cleanless.
The mess with parking places. There is no sound insulation - you can talk with your neighbours. There was no information that you need to bring you brteakfast with you. There were only bread, spread, muesli and milk on the kitchen.
3.4
Provision for breakfast, Clean bedding and towels, hot water
Did not recieve instructions for check in. No staff when we arrived. Not easy to contact. Booked for 2 adults. Only one quilt in room

the mattress - seen better days and uncomfortable

Very peaceful stay at the guesthouse. Clean, comfy and warm, good value for money.
The only downside for me was the lack of lifts. just need to remember to next time ask and book room on the ground floor, if you have trouble carrying your suitcases.
3.4
Shower was good and clean facilities
Cheap furnishings, 2 pillows were thin and poor quality. Noisy, I could hear the conversation clearly in the next room, walking on the floor above.

Was close to everything you needed

I had an issue with the standard of the room And tried to call a number allocated which turned out to be the wrong number, the cleanliness of the room was appalling , I would not reccomend this accommodation to anybody , what it stated on the leaflet and the Webb is not what is produced to the client ,
The room and no staff availability as my next door person was arguing with his partner all night and I did not sleep and wanted to move room no assistance
3.4
The lock on the door wouldn’t work I had to go back several times to try it. The room was smelly and cold
3.4
Location for the rugby ground. Ability to park at the guest house.
Lake care and maintenance.
3.4
Quite clean
Very impersonal states breakfast included but not much left to eat really poor
3.4
The room was like a cell. The bed was uncomfortable. Mould in the shower.
The street itself was dirty. No staff there. The house seemed more like temporary accommodation. Only stayed as no other option.
3.4
Stayed for about 4 hours then had to drive home after the mattress became physically painful. Nobody to speak to no humans there to help. Scruffy derelict area. All my money wasted
Never again

There are no staff at the hotel, access is by a code number. The fully equipped kitchen and seating area are excellent and modern. There is plenty of food for breakfast (help yourself) and also a microwave which I used for an evening meal. Kettle in the room for making tea or coffee. I thought it was excellent value.

Not much wrong with the room, small but ok. Garden at back was nice to have a cup of tea in. Clean inside although the area was a bit grubby.
Location wasn't the best, bit far from centre and the area was a bit of a druggy hangout.

location
The bath towel smelled of sweat.
3.4
Near the park and in walking distance from the historic centre
There was no soap in the bathroom. No one fixed it even though I contacted to the host. The bathroom is not really clean
3.4
Room was clean, remote checking in worked well. Room was of a good size.
The emergency exit light in the bedroom has an insanely bright green light that is illuminated all the time filling the room with a bright green light at night. We tried to cover it with a towel to dull it down which helped a little...
The door to the bedroom is very much a fire hazard and who ever signed it off as a safe fire door ought to be ashamed. An inch gap at the top of the door isn't up to fire regs at all...

Superb location, great communication from the owner. Easy check in and out. Comfy bed. Self serve breakfast was easy, lovely place to eat and everything we needed was there
Room layout wasn't great for us. Toilet door was right by my head when laid in bed but it's an old property so we understood that there's only so much you can do
3.4
Great location
Breakfast area wasn't clean and there was no cutlery (left)
3.4
Good value for money and excellent location for that price.
Not a dislike but did not see the hosts at all so unable to comment on them. Digitally all was fine but I wonder what may have happened had there been any issues. Also it would have bee. Nice to briefly see and compliment the hosts. In addition it was a nice surprise to discover that in fact there were some self cater facilities available. I didn’t realise this and ate out.

Breakfast Did not have , and it seems by reviews there wouldn’t have been any !
I booked this place , but unfortunately was unable to stay due to unforeseen circumstances, so I asked for a refund which I was refused, ok I get it was less than 24 hours before I was due to arrive , maybe a partial refund could have been okay
Also what they don’t mention until you enquire that they charge £5 to store your bike , nowhere on my cycling trip has anyone charged me to store my bike
And it’s stored at your own risk, which does not bode well , Karma comes in so many ways

Parking.

The door into the room was not easy to open and I had to fiddle with it to get it unlocked for long enough to be able to get in.

Nothing it Absolutely terrible area! Not fit for families, very bad atmosphere entering road'broken front porch windows on most houses, the whole street of houses look like there hmos, (multiple bedsits) wasn't happy to leave car across the road. You state' walls are sound proof, this is not the case so this is false advertising. Next door rooms and above ceilings can here every movement from our room 103 - I.e walking/talking/flushing of toilets.our sink taps not fully secured to the basin. Plug socket with live wires connected to some form of bare broken electrical board still in place, . Breakfast is open used milks and breakfast cereals in tubaware containers not hygienic as not sealed packets, some yogurts , (see attached pics ) felt that this place was unsafe. We have not stayed the night due to these reasons. We have booked ourselves into travellodge where we have been informed your house is in a undesirable area. Also place smelt of cannabis
Everything read the above

I never got inside as the exterior surroundings totally put me off leaving my car in its parking area or on the road. A most dodgy looking area and environment. I preferred to lose my money and book at the local big-chain hotel. The rooms might have been OK but no idea.
Very down market road and area. Lots of semi-abandoned cars, rough looking people hanging around. Wasn't prepared to risk my car left there overnight so abandoned booking (and of course the money paid) and paid again at a local Premier Inn.

Clean and all as stated
The curtain and rail fell down when I pulled it at night good it didn't hit me reported it to a man in the morning but didn't seem concerned

Clean room.
The breakfast was none existent, sour milk in the bottom of the box, stinking with lumps in the bottom. Half a jug of orange juice. Some cereals, no good no milk, no spoons to eat with if there had been. Dirty dishes and and cutlery in a set of drawers provided. In our rooms tea making facilities, no cups to make tea in.
