About this house rental
This beautiful and secluded 5-bedroom Kiawah Island vacation rental in West Beach boasts a heated pool and is only a short walk or bike ride to the beach. The property features a 4-bedroom main house and 1-bedroom guest suite above the garage (the garage is not available for guest use). This spectacular home recently underwent a variety of updates, including new furnishings.
Relax on the large back deck and enjoy the lagoon views and the abundant wildlife surrounding this home. Enjoy many custom touches including beautiful tiled floors, granite countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms, and comfortable furnishings throughout the home. The kitchen has custom light fixtures, white cabinets, stainless steel appliances, tile backsplash, and granite countertops. The center island overlooks the living area with lots of windows and glass doors for enjoying the views. The kitchen opens to the dining area with a wooden table and seating for 8. The living area has plenty of seating including 2 sofas and 2 cozy chairs. A Bluetooth speaker is located in the living area so you can enjoy your favorite music during your stay. Two sets of glass doors lead out to the large wrap around deck featuring a pool, gas grill, and peaceful lagoon views.
The master bedroom, located in the rear of the home, has a king-sized bed, TV, French doors leading to the deck, and private bathroom with a tiled shower with glass enclosure. A second master bedroom is located on the front of the home with a king-sized bed, flat screen TV, and private bathroom with granite counters and a nicely tiled shower. A bedroom is just off of the kitchen with a queen bed, reading chair, dresser, and flat screen TV. This bedroom shares a bathroom with a tub/shower combination located down the hall. The fourth bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed, a TV, and an attached bathroom that is shared with the queen bedroom.
A guest suite with private entry is located above the standalone garage (the garage is not available for guest use). The suite has an open living area with a queen sleeper sofa and TV, a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and and granite counter tops, a dining area, and a private king-sized bedroom with TV. Perfect for extended families or multiple family trips.
The home is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.
Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $400. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more – the choice is yours!
This pool has a gas heater, so the pool may be heated in cooler months for $75/per day for the entire stay. It can take 24-48 hours for the pool water to reach the optimal temperature of 85-87 degrees. When the air temperature falls below 55 degrees, typically November-March, pool heaters have difficulty achieving the optimal temperature. In this case, pool heating will not be available.
The dimensions of the pool are approximately 6' W x 14' L.
RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. A great time was had by all! It was a beautiful little oasis and so quiet. Really a relaxing time!

I highly recommend staying here! The house was awesome and had plenty of room (we had 11 people staying). Besides the house being perfect for us, we spent most days on the back deck, in the pool, or down at the beach (which is only a 10 minute walk). Also, it's very close to the entrance to Kiawah Island, which is nice so you don't have a long drive through the island to get in and out. It's also less than a 10 minute drive to plenty of food options and grocery stores. I'd definitely stay here again!

This home has everything and is the perfect distance to all Kiawah Island has to offer. We had an absolute blast and plan on returning to this exact home next year. The garage suite is perfect for those members of your group that need to escape the kid chaos or if they are the only ones with kids and need their own separate space.
The pool was a huge hit and was already heated when we arrived. Beautiful kitchen with all utensils and dishware u could need. Even have a spice cabinet with things such as salt, pepper, olive oil, syrup, old bay, etc.
I honestly can not think of one negative thing to say about the property

This house was perfect. It was welcoming with all the amenities needed to accommodate the whole family. We enjoyed the short bike ride to the beach and the heated pool! We cooked most nights but restaurants were close by when we wanted to venture out. Location was perfect and the house was clean and comfortable. We would love to come back!

We had a wonderful time at this Greensward Rd home. We were very comfortable, the pool was awesome, and looking at the wildlife next door was a treat for our kids. We took advantage of bike rentals to ride around the neighborhood and take the quick ride to the beach. Our kids are already asking us to go back!
Our only issue was that the pool heater needed to be turned on by the property manager on our second day so we did lose one day of swim time. We also needed a corrected wifi network/password but the property manager was able to get that to us timely as well.

Slightly worried about how crowded it was going to be at the beach because of Covid but was not crowded at all. Walking to the beach is manageable but if you’re carrying a lot of stuff down there it’s easier just to drive down closer and have one person take car back and walk down or ride a bike after they take car back. Pool was nice for the evening time. Just make sure to get WiFi password from side of router as the password provider was wrong.

Second time in Kiawah, first in West Beach, and loved it. Easy bike access to beach (via streets boardwalk 10, via bike path boardwalk 8b) and new Cougar Point golf club and Freshfields, yet still remote enough to have baby deer visit the property and not see any other houses from our yard. We all loved having our own pool which was clean and warm. Due to Covid we ate almost every meal in and had no trouble finding appropriate cookware to do so. Bedding and linens were nice. Whole house felt new and clean. Would highly recommend, for the location and private pool I don’t think there is anything even close to this in this price range!

My family and I were completely satisfied with this home and would rate our experience as a 5. The house was lovely, well appointed and clean. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we could need (except beach chairs, but we knew that). The location was great and we loved the privacy on the back deck. The Akers Ellis app was very convenient, especially for the door code. We are even thinking of reserving it for a week next March, so I may be contacting you again soon.

We SO enjoyed our recent week on the island. The home we rented was lovely and had everything we could possibly need. The staff (Trapper) who checked on us and looked after our phone issue was super. Alligator bike company was terrific and very accommodating. We even kayaked down Bohicket Creek, Kiawah River and the Edisto River - neat experience. We would love to come back to the island.
