Come and stay in your own private accommodation overlooking 68 acres with pockets of rainforest, a creek and a small waterfall. Stroll through the coffee rows or bushwalk to the creek. You may see visiting koalas, wallabies, echidna and platypus as well as an abundant bird life.

Enjoy a cup of our own plantation coffee.

We are only 11 mins by car from the historic village of Bangalow with its exclusive shops and restaurants and 15 mins from the magnificent beaches of Byron Bay. This position is a welcome retreat for travellers as we are an easy 5 mins drive from the Pacific Highway.

Your hosts are happy to share their local knowledge and their sons will point you in the direction of some of the best surfing beaches in the world.

A beautiful location 20 minutes away from Byron. It was quite well kept, just what we needed to escape the rat race of Sydney. Qudia was a lovely host so welcoming and happy to make your stay comfortable. We will definitely stay there again.

My hubby and I stayed 1 night at this beautiful little retreat. I would recommend making more time to enjoy the serenity as we didn't get much time unfortunately as I was caught up at the Crystal Cave. My recommendation would be to stay 2 nights if you can to take it all in. The host Ouida was also very accomodating and made us feel just at home. In summer time that pool would be amazing to soak in all the beautiful nature. The room itself is very private, even though the owner is next door you won't even realise as it's hidden off with lush greenery. Worth the stay 😇

The property was very secluded feeling and overlooked the west hills so we could watch the sunset. It was a perfect location for a relaxing little weekend, 10/10 recommend!

The Hut is lovely and in such a peaceful location and we were so lucky to see a koala. Ouida welcomed us and provided some provisions for breakfast which we appreciated…their coffee is superb!

Minus one star - bed loose/squeaky which interrupted sleep - suggest more firm frame or reinforce existing one. Otherwise would be five stars Ouida and family welcoming and friendly - nice local produce supplied for breakfast - beautiful place - where else can you see a wild koala when you're in the pool!?

The Hut was a delight; With Flowers on the table greeting us, Fresh bread, preserves & coffee, Peaceful, relaxed setting which was very well located to many attractions. Oiuda even took the time to send clear directions well ahead of our arrival date. My only regret was not finding out about it sooner & booking for longer as our base. Thankyou Ouida!

Its a lovely spot to spend some time, everything was very clean and tidy. We walked to the creek through the coffee plantation. The coffee, bread etc that was left for us was great. We will stay there again.

This is an amazing relaxing cottage with great amenities, close to all that we wanted to do and very easy to find. Owner is wonderful, made us feel very relaxed and offered to drive us to the restaurant. Loved the claw-feet bath with a view and the walk to the swimming hole is not to be missed.

The Friday Hut was a beautiful, restful, special place. It felt like we were so far removed from the world despite the easy access to Byron Bay. So glad we found this magical place. Oh - and be sure to find the swimming hole - totally worth the hike!

Located in a gorgeous part of the northern rivers hinterland, The Hut overlooks a working coffee plantation, lush rolling green hills, and peace and quiet is the order of the day. The studio was supplied with beautiful fresh flowers, local organic sourdough bread for breakfast toast, butter, jam, marmalade, milk, ground coffee from the plantation, yoghurt, blueberries... so many thoughtful touches. There is WiFi, streaming services and good Optus reception. You can laze around the sparkling clean pool, take a short drive to your choice of beaches, or stroll through the bush to the property's waterhole. Byron Bay is close by should you want for a dizzying array of restaurants. Definitely a perfect place to get away from the rat race for a while! As Arnie said... "I'll be back".

We had owned this property 40 years ago and couldn’t have been made more welcome by the current owners. The hut was very comfortable, the surroundings and location superb, and the extras in the fridge were very welcome and spot on. Also loved the beautiful flowers . Thanks Ouida

My partner and I came down for a night away from the chaos of Christmas in the city and Ouida’s place exceeding all our expectations. Check In instructions were clear and the was no fuss getting there or accessing The Hut. The room was simple and had lovely views. We went for a walk through their coffee plantation to the waterfall and enjoyed a dip in the swimming hole. The sourdough and coffee for breakfast were both wonderful and tasty additions. I cannot wait to come back here in the near future!

If you're looking for resort style glitz maybe not for you. If you want to feel like you are experiencing an authentic nsw far north coast lifestyle for a few days - perfect. Sitting on veranda watching uninterrupted sunset over hills while planning next outing to discover a hamlet, village or swimming hole was so relaxing. Loved the place.

What a delight. Arrived at the property, bringing in things from the car, when my wife called out: Robert, look at this! She opened the fridge, to find chocolates, butter, sourdough bread, yogurts, berries, and so it went. And also coffee, presumably grown on the estate. Then I called out: look at this, and the environment was stunning. The aesthetics, augmented by fresh flowers and a painting by the host all added to a wonderful experience. Many thanks. Robert

My partner and I felt really relaxed while staying here. It's a perfect place to getaway from the city for a little while. Great views, cozy room, comfortable bed and yummy sour dour bread.
