Η θέα ήταν φανταστική και η τοποθεσία απλά μαγική.
Όλα ήταν πολύ καλά σε γενικές γραμμές.

I loved the interior design as well as the fact that on Clean Monday breakfast was traditional, breakfast was to my liking in general. There was also a coffee machine serving hot chocolate which we usually enjoy. The staff was really polite, that was beautiful, it made us feel really special. There was an extra entrance really close to our rooms which made our staying easy plus the view from Veranda restaurant as breath-taking. Last but not least, it was a beautiful gesture to have complimentary confection (halvah) upon arrival, thanks!
The extra bed was making funny noises during the night so we actually had to sleep on the floor using the mattress provided. The internet was present yet not all the time. Since there was a booster (or rooter) really close to the rooms I believe it has to do with the connectivity in general, not with the specific connection or provider. Last but not least, there were many dogs in the area it was annoying, they seemed to be of some short of specific dog breed, still my kids were a tiny bit scared.

We visited Xenia Palace during December. The room was really warm and the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast had plenty of options to choose.

excellent location close to the center of the village, parking availability , friendly staff
breakfast could have been more diversified , a little bit overheated rooms

When you think about "Cozy" hotel - this is it. We enjoy the stay on winter time, the atmosphere is warm and cozy.
super hot water . heating all around is great.
The reception lady were super nice and top service level
Breakfast is full of choices for adults and children
we will definitely come again
Consider its little old building - There are some maintenance issues like celling mold or bath punch - but in general it was small issues that did not disturb us.

Breakfast was very good
The bar closed at 11 pm and hotel did not allow to take food from outside and eat same at the bar’s balcony. Hotel did not serve its food after 11 pm…

Very unsafe especially for little children!!!!
breakfast personnel unwilling to setup a table of six (6)
we had to call for the hotel Director to make the hotel
personnel prepare a table for more than 4 persons!!!
Swimming Pool extremely Cold! nobody dared to swim!!!

The property interior was clean, comfortable modernized with a traditional feeling everywhere. The pool and the pool bar was very nice and we really enjoyed it. The room was spacious and comfortable with excellent views of Volos town, the mountains and the gulf. The hotel also includes the Veranda restaurant right next to the hotel. The property is very well located 3’ walk from the beautiful and traditionally built Portaria village with many restaurants, cafes etc. Portaria is very well situated for Volos town, but also as a starting point to explore Pelion. We recommend it both for summer as well as a winter choice.
Everything was really nice, however, the only thing that could change is a renovation of the hotel exterior (fresh painting and new windows.

good hotel in good position
I’ve been several times to this hotel, but due to less personal it is not functionnally 100%. Lot of outside people join the swimming pool.
4.3
Nice facilities just outside the center of Portaria. Fantastic big, clean pool, a paradise for kids with decent pool bar. Beautiful common spaces
The rooms are not up to modern standards. We had a basic 2 person room, which was not cheap but if you want to attract people at that price range, they will have to invest a bit. Seize wise was ok, but the marrasses were not good, pillows almost invisible. Tabs in the bathroom were broken and the “air conditioning ” which was just blowing air was so noisy i could not sleep

Helpful staff and good breakfast. The rooms were clean.
Uncomfortable mattress and pillows. Pictures on booking.com give the impression that the hotel is in better state than it actually is. The lack of maintenance is evident.

Perfect location, walking distance to the main square. Pool was very entertaining for the whole family. We got a family suite with direct access to the pool which was a plus.
Good breakfast and nice options at the à la carte restaurant for lunch and dinner.
Make sure to master how to use the bathtub faucet, as we got burnt a couple of times. Not an issue of the facility, as it works properly, we just weren't used to its mechanism.
