We love this house in West Yarmouth! It was perfect for our family of 5. The house was clean, adorably decorated, and had everything we needed. It is in a great location; easy access to all the Cape has to offer! The owner was super responsive and easy to deal with. We will definitely be back!

We had a great time at this beautiful location! Short bike ride or walk to the beach, and close to restaurants/shopping. House was clean and fit us perfectly :)

A great house; well equipped for all facets of stay. Kitchen had all sorts of appliances, cookware, and eating supplies. The appliance are new, no issues. Three TVs if you feel the urge to binge watch. The beds were very comfy.
AC worked well in upstairs and main living area. The bunk bed room did get somewhat hot with just the available fans.
A minor, but annoying quirk, was the shower curtains. The ends curled up, so it was nearly impossible to get a strong seal to prevent water on floors. We ended putting our washcloths on the tub edge to minimize any water damage. BTW, there are a couple of tiles in the upstairs bath that need to be addressed to prevent damage.
Lots of books and games to play with. We did discover a few missing pieces in a couple of things, but no big deal.
We’ve been doing annual trips to the D/Y area for a few years. This location was by far our favorite (all 3 generations). I hope we are able to return here next year, schedules permitting.

We had a very nice stay at the beach house. So close to the beach and many other areas. There is a great park and splash pad near by. The house description was accurate. Loved that their were beach toys and Chairs. Great option for families

Under the amenities it listed a crib, but there was no crib at the location. We did find out prior to coming so we were prepared….. Also under photos and listing bedrooms, it said there was four bedrooms upon arrival. We only had three bedrooms.. The photos and the listing of four bedrooms was very deceiving.
The property could use a little more “up keep” outside, but it was cute, on a dead end cul de sac, so safe for small children.

Another great summer getaway!! This is the third summer we spent here and I love it!! This has many amenities to offer!! The best is the location, while it is in a quiet neighborhood, with a private fenced in backyard, it is also at the end of a cul-de-sac!! My granddaughter who is almost three enjoyed safely riding her tricycle and writing with chalk at the end of the driveway! No traffic!!
Also, in regards to location, Colonial Acres Beach, is less than a mile away, an easy walk to and from!! The beach was perfect for myself and my granddaughter and her baby brother!!
The house itself is very comfortable with 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms and a pull-out couch in the living room, as well as great Wi-Fi and cable. The kitchen leads onto a lovely deck where we typically started and ended our days! The deck leads to a large yard with a fire ring, which we had fun sitting around one evening!
Finally, this house has easy access to Rt. 28 with all that has to offer. I have to mention that Bagels and Beyond is a quick walk away, which meant we always had fresh bagels and iced coffee around!!
Thanks again for a wonderful week!!
See you next year (fingers crossed)!!

House was sufficiently comfortable for our group of 6. We loved the location - only a few minutes from everywhere we typically go. And such a great bonus to be able to walk to the beach.

Convenient location and just the right size for our family. Had a great time, only recommendation would be to include towels, bar of soap, coffee and some basic spices.

We enjoyed our stay, but thought I'd leave some feedback.
Pros
First floor very roomy
Huge comfy couch
All the glassware, plates, pand ect you could need
Nice yard with deck, grill, fire pit, hammock and outdoor shower
Close walk to beach and a few restaurants
Owner very responsive when I messaged with questions before stay
Cons
Second floor not for tall people. Sloped ceiling made smaller bedroom and bathroom difficult for our son.
Bigger bedroom we moved bed closer to closet and was manageable
Only tvs in living room and bunk bed room. Upstairs 2 bedrooms no TV
No cable, only wi-fi for TV, and wi-fi kept dropping all week
Living room ceiling fan light flickers alot, probably due to AC running and that it's not a hard wired ceiling fan, but instead has cord in wire track and plugged in behind couch
Overall we enjoyed our stay

just as advertised, lovely getaway!
Carolyn's property was charming--the perfect getaway for a week at the Cape! The decor makes you feel as though you are at the beach from the moment you walk in. The house was surprisingly spacious--we fit two adults, two preschoolers and several picky teenagers without a problem! The beach is an easy walk down the street and bigger beaches, as well as towns, are just a quick drive away. We are already planning to stay here next year...loved it!

The house was impeccable, a nice getaway in a quiet neighborhood right down the road from the beach and local eateries and activities. The perfect place to stay for a family vacation or a trip with friends. The host was wonderful and pit a lot of thought into providing info about local attractions and other instructions they had for checking in/out and using the house. Would highly recommend to anyone!!!

A perfect spot!
I enjoyed everything about the property, from the easy walking distance to Colonial Acres Beach, the privacy of the yard, to the clean open lay-out of the downstairs!! My son, girlfriend, and my 10 month old granddaughter stayed for the first week and all had a wonderful time. Even baby Layla loved it!! 💕 We enjoyed walking to the beach, sitting on the deck all the time and using the fire pit often!! Wi-fi worked great. As others have said, it is a great location, walking distance to a wonderful bagel place and the Yarmouth House for a meal or two! I had friends visiting here and there the second week of my stay and all had positive remarks on all of the above!! Hope to be back next summer! 🤞🏻 🏖 ☀️

lovely stay
We had a very nice stay. The house was as described. We had some issues with the internet but the owners were super responsive and on top of fixing the problem. The house had everything we needed, only wish there were condiments present in the kitchen, like salt and sugar. We had to bring our own towels, but linens were provided. The walk is pretty quick to the beach (about 8 min), the house is on a dead end street, so nice and quiet. Loved the hammock and the fire pit sitting area.

Great location and size for our family of 5!
We had a great 4 day weekend visiting West Yarmouth! The house was exactly as pictured and described in the ad and perfect for our family of 5 with room to spare! The beach was only a short walk and we were able to go back and forth for lunch. The home was clean, and the deck and yard were the perfect size for relaxing in the evening. We would definitely recommend this home and hope to be back in the future!

Yarmouth has it all!
This was our first trip to Cape Cod. We came before the crowds & really enjoyed it. Yarmouth seems to be centrally located & a great spot to see it all. As described, the property is located on a nice & quiet street, not far from an ok beach. By car, we would recommend driving a few minutes to Seagull Beach.
Pro’s - great water pressure, came stocked with most of the essentials - does lack oil, salt & pepper & other seasonings. Host agreed to provide blankets & towels when I asked (although this is standard for most), nice outdoor eating area & grill on the deck. I really enjoyed the basket of local brochures, which we found very helpful.
Not really con’s, but items I was surprised were not mentioned in other reviews:
No real master suite w/ bathroom - downstairs bathroom is better, but coincides with the bunk room.
Also, low ceilings upstairs
Fire pit - but, no wood or nearby places to buy wood - and we tried.
Poor wifi - alerted host night 1. Intermittent connection our entire stay.
The backyard butts up to a restaurant parking lot - quiet during the week, but it was lively Sat night
Grass was mowed on our last day - as we were packing actually. *We’ve always been notified in past experiences when a service person would be there during our stay.
Lastly, I feel like the property needs a nice power washing & gutter cleaning on the outside and a fresh coat of white paint inside, or at a minimum, a magic eraser taken to many of the scuffed walls.
It was a good stay overall for our first time on the Cape.

Awesome
We had such a great time in Cape Cod. Caroline’s home was beautiful and better than our expectations. Great back porch to grill on and we even made s’mores in the outdoor fireplace! Short walk to a lovely beach and within 30 minute car drive of mostly everything. The lobster rolls and clam chowder we ate were simply the best we’ve ever had.

Enjoy all of the Cape experience!
We had a wonderful time! The house is at the end of a quiet street, very private. The house is adorable, beautifully decorated and updated. Brand new bathrooms and totally spotless. We loved the open layout of the first floor. The kids bunk room was perfect, and we were happily surprised by the tv in there, so our kids hooked up their Switch and made their own hangout in there. We enjoyed takeout dinners on the deck. We only used the outdoor shower, such a fun part of the Cape experience! The location cannot be beat. Close to everything you would ever need on the Cape. We walked to the small beach, easy walk for our kids. But we mostly drove the 1.5 miles to Seagull Beach. Super easy checkin and checkout. Professionally cleaned and maintained home. Kitchen well stocked with quality pans, etc, Cuisinart coffee machine, toaster, microwave. We did not use the grill, but it was nice that it was there! Laundry room in basement was very convenient. We had a wonderful vacation and would definitely consider renting again in the future!

Charming home, centrally located, amazing trip
We traveled with 3 families and our coach for a competition being held in Hyannis and wanted a more comfortable place than a hotel for the weekend. This was exactly what we needed.
The house is lovely with plenty of parking which accommodated our 3 cars. It’s an easy walk to the beach. It is super quiet and easy to get in and out of the area. It was within 10 minutes of everything we needed to get to and all of our restaurant choices.
The house itself is more charming in person than the pictures give it credit for. There was plenty of room for our group of 8 and worked out perfectly having our athletes sleep in the bunk room. The living room couch is seriously the best. It fit everyone which is unheard of when you’re traveling. Having two bathrooms with showers was needed with 3 girls needing to prep. The dining bar between the kitchen and main room had outlets and usb plugs which turned into recharge central.
Carolyn is amazing. I ended up needing to message with questions several times for various questions. She responded within minutes and was always cheerful and helpful.
We stay in hotels all season for our sport. It’s part and parcel of how it works traveling to compete. I loved being able to comfortably let our teenage girl athletes go take a walk in the neighborhood to clear their heads before their next events. That’s something that I’m not always comfortable with in a hotel situation, but the neighborhood felt safe and secure and the people we did end up seeing were really friendly.
We would absolutely return here if we are on the Cape again. I couldn’t have had a better experience. Thank you Carolyn for sharing your home with us!

Beautiful cottage ideally located on the cape
The house looks like it does in the pictures. It is very charming and comfortable. The beach is about an 8 minute walk (leisurely pace) from the house. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed eating breakfast on the backyard deck every morning. The owner Carolyn, was an absolute pleasure to communicate with.
The location is fantastic, about 1 hour and 20 minutes from airport in Boston. It was a great place from which to explore the rest of the cape.
Extra points to Carolyn for providing a new sponge in the kitchen, it's a small thing, but a really nice touch. My recommendations to improve the stay of future guests would be for the owner to provide bath towels (bringing own towels takes up valuable real estate in suitcase), better knifes for cooking, and more toilet paper (I hate to worry about buying this when on vacation).
Overall we had a wonderful and relaxing time and look forward to staying at this beautiful cottage again.

Close to a very nice beach, close to Hyannis and ferries
Very nice and quiet location, walking distance to a really nice, laid back beach, we took ferries from hyannis to nantucket and MV, proximity to ferry landings worked out well. Outdoor grill convenient for when we cooked, weather for the most part was beautiful. House located in very nice area, convenient to restaurants. Would certainly recommend to others.

Absolutely wondful experience!
This was the first time my husband and I have rented on the Cape. The house was perfect for 2 families of 4. It was private and quiet. We could tell the house was newly and tastefully renovated and it was extremely clean! The short walk to the beach was a perfect way to burn a few of those vacation calories! Colonial Acres beach was great, we beached it everyday!! Another great feature was that the home is at the end of a dead end. Our kids rode their bikes around and around safely for hours! The owners were so awesome to deal with, very responsive and genuinely excited for us to make memories in their rental! We can't wait for next year!!!
