Location was excellent, the apartment was modern, immaculately clean and furnished to a high spec. Just really lovely all round. We really enjoyed our evening meal at the main hotel - the food was locally sourced and beautifully cooked. The terrace where we are had amazing views over the sea
It was perfect for us

Location in the centre of historic Old Town on top of the hill, steps down to the rocks/sea right outside the apartment, close to restaurants and a bar right at the entrance. Antonio was a great host answered any questions I had and helped me to/from the apartment when I arrived and left. Would recommend to anyone
Steps to the sea were a bit long and quite steep, could be an issue for some but didnt bother me

The Borgo is the creation of and is run by a young couple from the area who will make you feel just as welcome as if you were family (Antonino came to pick us up when we had trouble driving to the place given the traffic restrictions in the historic part of town).
The apartment, decorated in a simple bright and airy style, gives you the added autonomy of a kitchenette and separate living space whilst still having access to a shared garden and the possibility to take breakfast and an occasional meal (at an extra charge of course). We enjoyed the little balcony overlooking the gulf of Salerno where we dined on local produce bought in town.
Antonino and his wife are nice to the extreme and always available to help.
There was very little space around the bed, which some people with reduced agility or mobility might find a struggle. To be clear, this would not stop me from going back as it is a very small detail in the greater scheme of things.

The hosts are very responsive via WhatsApp so it was super easy to coordinate arrival, ask advice and suggestions during our stay, etc. We stayed in the apartment which is lovely - it opens onto an internal courtyard/garden so with our toddler this was perfect as she could run around and play in total safety. The room is not huge - with a cot as well it was a bit cosy, but the bed is super comfortable and we had a few wonderful nights sleep! Just a few minutes walk from the city centre, it is incredibly peaceful and silent at the accomodation.
There is actually no dining table inside the room. This didn't matter for us as it was early September and beautiful weather so we ate outside in the garden (on a small table and garden chairs), but I'm not sure what happens when the weather is bad!

The location is just amazing, the apartment is super clean and brand new, the host is really kind and always available to help or suggest places to go!
Everything was really just perfect, can't wait to go back!
