Excellent facilities, friendly owner.

Easy to find and park, with local shops and the railway station in walking distance. The owner Marcus was very friendly, helpful and breakfast was excellent. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed watching the stork nest on the church tower from our balcony. We had an enjoyable day in Freiburg which is a short train ride away. Highly recommended.

Very friendly and hospitable hotel owner. Nice big room with comfortable beds. Tasty breakfast with good coffee. Hostel is very accessible from the freeway and there is a lot to do in the surroumding areas.

we enjoyed site seeing in the area. our favorite spots were todtnau wasserfall and walking around Tittisee Lake.

very clean, comfortable and quiet location. Breakfast is wonderful traditional German breakfast. Marcus was very attentive to anything we might need. he offered us many good suggestions and great morning conversations:)

Great place to stay if you don't need to be in the downtown area.

The hotel was just perfect for me. In a quiet area, close to a motorway since I had a car for travelling around, but also quite near a train station when I went to the centre of Freiburg. The room was spotlessly clean and the manager was extremely helpful and ready to give good advice. Breakfast is not included in the price of the room, I paid for it separately, but it was great with everything fresh and a wide choice.

Best experience during our two week trip, would highly recommend!

From the moment we arrived, Marcus made sure we felt comfortable and informed. The breakfast was delectable and the atmosphere was quaint.

Nice, cozy and clean. No brainer!

awesome lodging! place is clean, nice decor, and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and tasty - but not included in the price. Personnel/owner very nice and accommodating. highly recommended.

The breakfast was good for its price (8,50€ per day), a really nice variety. The room was mainly quiet, but you could hear when someone’s going into their room. It was very tidy everywhere, I liked staying there

The rooms were a bit overpriced. The beds weren’t that comfy for me (I like the mattresses to be more soft)

Excellent room in a beautiful village.

I travelled to Gundelfingen (a Freiburg suburb) for my visit to the Gelenk-Klinik.de (joint-hospital). This hotel is on walking distance to the Gundelfingen railway station and on walking distance to the hospital (the center / shops). The room is very nice and comfortable (like on the pictures) and offers anything which I might need (it is not an executive suite which I did not expect or pay for :-) ). I needed to pay an additional 14 euro for breakfast which is excellent as well: those typical little German buns that I really like with an ample supply of cheese and meat to enjoy them, an egg, as much coffee as I wanted. This hotel is highly recommended and I will certainly return on my next visit of Gundelfingen! Gundelfingen is a nice and beautiful village in a beautiful region, close to Basel (the Swiss border).

I only needed to go up two floors to get to my room on the top floor so that will not be a problem for most people. Visitors of this aforementioned Gelenk-Klinik should realise there is not an elevator when they can not climb the stairs at all. Apart from that I can not think of anything that needs to be improved.

great stay!

very nice hotel in a quiet little town which is very close to Freiburg Hbf and city center (7 min by train). Very clean and comfy room, nice big breakfast and super friendly and helpful staff! would definitely recommend.

The room was clean and comfortable

Actually, when I booked, I believed the hotel was in Friburg (my fault: I didn’t consult the map). It is about 15 minutes by car cromo the centre pf the city.
