Strongly recommended

Perfect location, just few steps from Szeczenyi bridge. There are good restaurants nearby - Hungarian, French, Italian, Russian and Korean. Perfect staff, very clean rooms, perfect breakfast with warm bread.

This hotel is so close to Fisherman bastion and Buda castle. It’s a 4 star hotel but their standards aren’t 4 stars.

Прекрасный отель, рядом с фуникулером и всеми достопремичательностями. Очень уютный, вкусный завтрак, прекрасняй номер с балкончиком, удобная кровать, дружелюбный и вежливый персонал. Рекомендую, кто приехал погулять в Будапешт, все рядом. Обязательно еще приедем.

В номере нет чайных принадлежностей и чайника. Чайник попросили на ресепшен, но пришлось пользоваться стаканами.

Excelente lugar para visitar Budapest

Desayuno excepcional. Uno de los mejores, por no decir el mejor, que he tomado nunca. Ubicacion excelente a 50 mts del Puente de las Cadenas. Hotel antiguo muy bien mantenido. Personal servicial y atento. Baño recién remodelado con articulos de aseo que ya no se encuentran en los hoteles facilmente. Muy cómodo y confortable. Repetiria sin duda

Hacia calor en la habitación. Lo dijimos en recepción y aunque quedaron en solucionarlo no lo hicieron. Por suerte las ventanas eran oscilobatientes y tenían mosquiteras lo cuul permitia refrescar cuando se necesitaba.

The hotel was closed and locked up when we were dropped off by the taxi driver. We could not reach Bookin and we were in quite a pickle..Your customer service contact options are awful. How did you not know the hotel was out of business and had been so for weeks? Unforgivable. We are now worried about a reservation in Amsterdam we made through in two weeks at the end of our cruise. We were very thankful that Hotels.com could find us a hotel with a room available, or we would have been on the street.

Bookin should have known about the closure of Exe Carlton in Budapest and let us know. Awful. I could find no way to communicate our predictament to Bookin so they could help. When I went to customer service I was cinfronted with a list of irrelevant options that did not address our problem by and no way to get an immediate response or help. You must fix this

There's no outlet in the bathroom

I was overcharged for city tax., That I already paid through this booking. Though there was a "free" pick up ride from the airport the person who picked me up I drove to the wrong location, then charged me to drive to the hotel.

Exceptional

We were booked to stay at the Exe Carlton Hotel but we were moved to their sister hotel on the other side of the river due to renovation works - Eurostars Budapest Center. This was a brilliant hotel, room very clean on arrival and cleaned every day of our stay. Had all the facilities we required for a long weekend. Brilliant location (we preferred this new location as was in the more lively location central to everything on the Pest side of the river). Staff were all very pleasant! Would highly recommend and return if we were to ever come back to Budapest (which is highly likely, we loved it) Thanks for such a brilliant stay!

In spite of the hotel is closed for two years for the maintenance, there is another hotel, who takes a responsibility for this order. Hotel Eurostars Budapest Center Hotel. It was very good with very friendly staff. Very good located. Very good breakfast.

The hotel is closed for two years for the maintenance, and we had to go another hotel, who took responsibility for this order. It was good we were with a car. But if somebody comes with a taxi, removes all his stuff and release the taxi... Booking.com should alarm people that hotel is changed.

enjoyable and despite a couple of things, staff and hotel were really good

room had lots of dark furniture and seemed a little cramped for two of us. beds were comfortable and shower was good. Breakfast - items weren't replenished quickly enough and one morning it was difficult to find a clean table to sit at. Location was nice other than few places to choose from to eat within easy walking distance (tho we did find one and it was great).
