Hotel Carmine is a beautiful hotel in a wonderful location, perfect for exploring Marsala.

The location was amazing and the building was beautiful. The staff were very helpful

The beds and the pillows were quite hard and uncomfortable. We had a workman outside our window at 7am and he woke us up.

A little disappointing

Good location

The room we were given was not the same one we booked on Booking. The mattress was very warm and hard. While the property was nicely converted from a monastery to a hotel, the facilities and furniture looked dated. Also, the hotel’s lacked of a kitchen which proved problematic on Sunday’s when the majority of restaurants are closed

A pleasant somewhat unusual city centre experience. Recommended as such.

Old style hotel in old building with old features (eg floor tiling) carefully preserved. Large room on two levels furnished with traditional furniture (but modern mattress and bathroom fittings). Helpful and pleasant staff, reasonable breakfast.

Pedestrianization has meant parking immediately in the square is not possible (but drop off is fine), and with only two reserved bays just around the corner. No restaurant, but plenty nearby and reception recommended and booking an excellent one 100 m away.

If you travel to Marsala, hotel carmine should be your only choice

A beautiful building; old club convent lovingly and skillfully renovated. Beautiful spaces. Lobby/sitting area! Dining-room is jaw dropping. Breakfast is lovely, rich and very fresh. The croissants are out of this world. The staff are genuinely forthcoming. Thank you for your hospitality. Excellent location.

We should have stayed 2 nights but ran out of time

Lovely hotel (monastery conversion) rooms nicely appointed. The breakfast room was gorgeous with a lovely chandelier. Good selection nicely presented. Location very central

Fabulous stay with my brothers and nephews in the town where my grandmother was born!

Magic place near Agrigento

Best view and very quite place where you could relax. Stunning landscaping and attention to detail. Beautiful pool. Rooms well appointed and very clean. Manager super nice and attentive. 5 minute drive to cute beach town and easy 25-30 minute drive Agrigento.

Beautiful palace with precious furniture and many areas to enjoy the hotel. amazing breakfast. welcome drink. great location and very nice staff.

Micro shower and downstairs table just under the stairs. Stairs were very nice sturdy but the step were a little to high for an average leg height.

It is a great place with history on it's own,it supposed to be qualified like 5 stars but because they don't have swimming pool and restaurant it's only 3 stars .

Good service, nice staff. Central location. Parking in front off hotel. Nice old building with a lovely big garden and balcony. Spacious room. Comfortable good bed and shower. Beautifull restored breakfast room. Breakfast was very good.

Excellent hotel in a quiet central location, superb service from attentive staff.

Wonderful small hotel in a gracious historic building, upgraded to contemporary standards. We arrived on Easter weekend and the front desk managed to get us a last-minute reservation for Sunday dinner at a top restaurant, Excellent afternoon spritz with a spread of tasty bites from the bar manager, and freshly baked breads and cakes made in-house for the lavish breakfast spread. Our compliments to the cook! Really personal service from all.

I loved the spaciousness and ambiance of the charming Hotel Carmine, and the helpful staff

Breakfast was served in a beautiful period room, overlooking the piazza with a painted ceiling and chandler. Tables were dressed with white linen and lace tablecloths. Breakfast was an appetising selection of cereals, juices, cooked meats cheeses, salads, breads, fruit, home baked cakes, tea, fresh coffee of choice etc.

Lovely elegant hotel that makes the Marsala visit a real treat Highly recommend this property.

The restoration of the monastery is impressive the archways, ceilings, and beautiful tiled floors make for a very elegant building. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable the outside balcony overlooking the garden was very relaxing. The location is perfect for walking around Masala. The location is also in a very quiet side street making sleeping a very pleasant experience. Lastly, the staff was extremely helpful.

pure loveliness

Atmospheric and calm. The room was clean, airy and comfortable. the bathroom was lovely, equipped with everything my family needed. the welcome Marsala drink was a great touch. Excellent breakfast and warm, helpful staff rounded off a terrific stay in lovely lovely Marsala!

we had a faulty air con which made a noise and then cut out but it ain’t too hot in the night anyway. the staff addressed the issue as soon as we notified them

Incredible reconstruction. Rooms and facilities were incredible with period antiques, history blended in with modern convenience. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
