The room was good but only because i upgraded, the breakfast was terrible nothing warm was provided and it was very basic standard, the same as every day no variety or many options.

Pleasant

The women at the reception were exceptional. Natural, friendly and helpfull. Room was functional, clean and had technically all you need including a minibar where I could store my water. Breakfast with a view was great. Cornetti, nutella cake, fruits is all I need for a great breakfast.

The room fased a yard with the outlets of the airconditionings. Very nousy and uncomfortable. They promote rooms with a view and a spa with pool. Spa with pool is in a different hotel, not in janus. I think its just to ask for more money. Capuccino at breakfast from the coffee machin was not good.

cannot recommend Janua Hotel, because staff was unfriendly.

Good Location. only limited parking Spots that cost extra, even though they say “available” on booking. straff was also unfriendly after we insisted on it.

* pool and Spa are outside at different Hotel. * breakfast very Basic for such a price * SAP not really worth it.

The hotel was nice and clean. Personal was so kind, not only ladies at the reception but also cleaning ladies. The breakfast were tasty and all the time full of choice. The location of the hotel is amazing with view on sea.

Private underground parking Close to the beach Clean No damage/wear to be seen in the room; in fact most of the place appears to be recently renovated, with modern AC systems and bathrooms.

For most of our stay (until the last 1-2 days) it was only possible to turn on or off the AC via the Front Desk The breakfast was very basic, as the hotel appears to have no kitchen; you only had 1 type of salami, 1 type of meat, 1 of cheese, boiled eggs and that was about it as far as the main dish was concerned The outside/balcony lights are on most of the night and there's no way to turn them off from the room.

Modern hotel in central location.

Very clean and modern hotel in a central location for exploring Castelsardo. Balcony in room was well worth the extra money. Staff friendly on check in.

€10 extra for a space in the car park, very tight with pillars. Air conditioning didn’t work the first night so the room was very hot, it took us raising it the next morning to get this resolved hotel wide. key cards also didn’t work on our arrival. Breakfast limited but in a nice room with a good view

Comfortable but room needs deep cleaning

Location was great with an awesome view and the room was comfortable (huge comfortable bed and pillows). Breakfast was also ok.

Cleaning was definitely not ok. Curtains were greyed out, hairs found on the floor, balcony floor was not clean, windows also not clean, even we found a bandage on the AC menu (seems COVID clean up not done). Very nice place but you feel like touch nothing.

Disappointing

The swimming pool and the spa are not in the hotel. The swimming pool is not mentioned anywhere as being outside the hotel and the same fact regarding the spa is poorly mentioned. Misleading. The staff doesn’t speak English. There was no staff in the swimming pool for any kind of service (towels, drinks, security, anything).

Janus Hotel - Castelsardo

Throughout a very nice hotel. They're still in the process of renovation parts of it. The rooms are very clean, the beds are exceptionally comfortable. It's right next to the city beach and lots of restaurants are close by. Breakfast was very nice as well.

Great stay. Perfect base to explore the town. Friendly staff.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. One of the ladies recommended a restaurant Trattoria da Totti, in the Medieval part of the town and it was fantastic. She kindly made a reservation for us. The position of the hotel was great for exploring the town. The inside was clean and chic. Parking under the hotel was a bonus especially in the very hot weather.

Location, beachfront, cleanness

There were not many options in the breakfast. i.e hot food, selection of different cheese types can be added. The beach is crowdy and gets little noisy in the street during the night.
