Als je van ' echt en (h)eerlijk houdt, dan mag je dit adres niet overslaan.

Een oase van rust bij het plaatsje Istan, 12 km. in het binnenland ten noorden van Marbella. Hartelijk ontvangen, heerlijke kamer en bedden. 3 dagen lekker bijkomen.

Beliggenhed kort udenfor Istan. Dejligt roligt. Mulighed for at købe vin eller øl. Mod betaling adgang til spa bad med dejlig udsigt samt sauna

Sparsom morgenmad, men kaffen var fin. Køb morgenmad i byen!

A mixed bag

Lovely location in the mountains. Public areas were very nice and comfortable. The restaurant is better than we expected. A small menu with some different and unusual dishes, beautifully cooked and exceptional value.

The rooms were very 2 star. Basic, cheap furniture. The pool needed a clean so we didn't use it. Bathroom cramped. We were hoping for good things at breakfast after such a good meal the evening before. Sadly it wasn't, just a bread roll, margarine and two tiny dishes with pate and jam. I asked for olive oil and tomato, which they did provide, but the coffee was the worst I've ever had in Spain.

Very calm and relaxing place

Beautiful location, outstanding views, lots of places to sit down and rest. Lovely terrace where you can order food. Very peaceful place.

The pool was a bit small and there were a lot of insects in the water. Breakfast could be better - it was very basic, no vegetables, only bread, jam and drinks.

Great place for relaxation!

The hotel is very nice in a rural area away from the city, it's very calm, has nice views and good for relaxation. the rooms are authentic with a view. the staff are nice and friendly.

Excellent all round nice apartmetns with Breathtaking views.

Having to pay for the Jaqquzi and Sauna - which isn't advertised on booking website - There was also a building site just a few 100 meters away which we could hear.

Amazing location, friendly & helpful staff, beautiful & clean room, heated swimming pool was an added bonus!

Perfect for outdoor enthusiasts.

Exceptional. I loved the feel of the place. There a leisure suite with sauna and jacuzzi plus a swimming pool outside but covered and heated. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They also hire ebikes in the summer. The parking was perfect and being a detached property, super safe. The room super clean and I loved the chilled out relaxed area. A beautiful property in a beautiful setting within touching distance of the mountains.. Perfect

If food or snacks were available to purchase in the evening it would have added to the experience. I did however visit in early January.

Exceptional

A hidden germ. Beautiful hotel in the mountains near Marbella. The host was very friendly. Rooms spacious, clean and in a nice design. We enjoyed the breakfast with a great view towards the sea. We will come again.

WORTH VISITING

Location, staff, property and views. Overall, very good.

The food was below par for the price and the wine list extensive but expensive. Many wines listed were unavailable too. As a party of 6, we wanted different wines.

The most relaxing experience

Wonderful, calm, more than perfect value for money.

The hotel is beautiful, in a very good, quiet location. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They did everything they could to make our honeymoon enjoyable and relaxing. They gave us lots of advice on things to see and do. Breakfast was good, dinners were heavenly, full of soul! The sangria is varied, very nice by the pool.

The other guests had a hard time with the old, noisy doors. There would be nothing wrong with the doors if the guests hadn't grown up in a cave. I slept very well, but my wife found the bed a bit uncomfortable... the mattress was too soft for her.

A pleasant getaway

I liked that the hotel was in the quiet nature and we could enjoy the silence at night.

The restaurant at the hotel was unfortunately closed during our stay.

We loved our stay and hope to come back! We enjoyed the quiet and peaceful atmosphere!

It was so quiet. The perfect getaway weekend in the mountains. The restaurant had a fantastic view and good service. The staff was friendly. The pool was very relaxing and overall atmosphere was very restful.

The showers in the rooms are poorly designed and water goes all over the bathroom. We had to use one of our bath towels to soak it up. The lawn chairs at the pool are sagging a bit and could be replaced. The bed was a bit firm.

Beautiful town

Beautiful surroundings, cozy and clean room. Service was excellent, restaurant staff very attentive. Good air conditioner.

I overall liked everything, but note that you will have to drive a mountain roads to get there and probably will not like to get down by the coast again, depends on the driver. In the restaurant they charged us for the bread that we didn't even ask for. They just served it. Breakfast could have been better for the price. Room lacks of isolation. No fridge.

Spectacular views once you get there! Rooms OK, very plain but reasonably clean.

Really off location, but good if you're after a bed and great views. Severely overpriced and underperforming restaurant.

absolutely stunning, will have stay two more days for sure!!

The landscape definitely, it’s absolutely stunning and relaxing. the swimming po is big enough to have a lovely refreshing bath… the restaurant and the breakfast are great - you have a beautiful view !
