Our rooms were very comfortable and stylish, and had everything we needed. My friend and I loved the complementary gin and tonics in the room and the ice and lemon being delivered each evening! We loved the pool and jacuzzi after a long day of walking, such a treat.
There wasn’t really anywhere to just sit and chill out, I can see that in summer you have the covered terrace but inside there was just a dimly lit lounge area with no natural light and fireplaces not lit. Luckily we had space in our rooms to sit and have our G&Ts each evening. We were there for three nights, so between The Deck and The Jetty the menus felt a bit limited by the time we reached Sunday night. My friend had a room with a shower but the shower curtain seemed a bit old fashioned, rather than a glass enclosure, and let water out onto the floor.

Room was far too hot
No reception porter help and was a bit hard to find room 310. Maybe extra signage needed.
Shower spreading water onto the toilet and bath mat situated on the opposite side of the bathroom. So had to walk on the wet floor to get it.

Grandiose and impressive Hotel with beautiful fixtures and fittings. Room was very tastfully decorated, inkeeping with a boutique hotel.
The room became uncomfortably hot (Room 204) during the night. No air conditioning so spoilt the stay.
