One of the best hotels

Excellent location, easy walk to the centre. Nearby parking at Queen Anne car park easy and only £5.50 for night until 1100. Superior room was large comfy and very clean. Breakfast was cooked to order and very good. Staff were all very friendly. Bedding was high quality.

Great location and super accessible hotel!

Open space, good smell inside the whole hotel, easy accessible with a wheelchair, adapted accessible rooms were great. It has a restaurant, nice bar en good breakfast room . Nice restaurants in the neighborhood, good location to start your exploration of Cambridge!

Lovely hotel in the heart of Cambridge for our anniversary stay

Lovely hotel, delicious breakfast (included) a complimentary bottle of prosecco and card and Swan towels into hearts for our anniversary was a lovely surprise. Very very comfortable bed. Loved the decor of the room. Very good shower. The member of staff coming in the evening with a chocolate and asking if everything was ok was a nice touch

Would have liked to be pre warned that they were doing renovations to the bar/restaurant. Wasn't very keen on the menu for terrace restaurant. No sides with the steak either? Had to go outside and in main entrance to use the toilets and we were sat next to the open door which was chilly. Had to ask reception for a toilet roll as was only one in the room?

very pleasant long weekend city break.

The breakfast was very good and we enjoyed sitting in the garden in the evenings. The hotel is ideally located to walk into the town centre and also visit the botanic gardens. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

the lounge was being refurbished during our stay, which was fine when we could sit outside in the garden area. However, on one night there was a private function being held that made it too loud to sit outside. Our room was on the ground floor and equipped for disabled clients. But this meant as a tall able bodied man the shower was too low to stand under.

I think we would stay here again, although it was a little pricey

Location was perfect. Easy walking distance to the colleges. Relieved that parking was available after it said it wasn’t. Expensive (£26) but worth it. Free coffee in the morning.

The temperature in the room was hard to control. It was stuffy. The room was small, and the bathroom even smaller.

The hotel is very stylish and comfortable, in an ideal location for exploring Cambridge on foot. We thought the breakfast service was exceptional.

Wir sind öfters in Cambridge, werden das Gonville in Zukunft eher meiden.

Sehr gute Lage.

Wir waren letztes Jahr schon dort und hatten damals einen schönen Aufenthalt vor allem auch wegen des netten Personals. Dieses mal war es eher enttäuschend. Die Rezeptionistin am Empfang war sehr förmlich an der Grenze zur Unhöflichkeit.

Still an excellent choice of stay in Cambridge

Relaxing stay

Beautiful room, excellent bed and bedding. Lovely outlook. Variety of breakfast options. Lovely relaxing drive in the Bentley, lots of info.

Breakfast tables not always fully set, no teaspoons! Young staff sometimes slow to clear. Management were going to address this. Leaks to conservatory roof and bathroom fan not working, staff aware of maintenance issues. Would be excellent if these were addressed.

We had booked a twin and were not expecting two beds next to each other with only one large duvet cover. We also discovered later on that we were in a room adapted for wheelchair users, which we had not requested. We therefore found, the facilities in the bathroom difficult to use. As we only booked for one night and were already settled in the room we did not bother to complain at the time.

Ideal location , top quality stay.

Have stayed before so we knew what to expect and were not disappointed, friendly efficient staff, modern clean room and ideally located with car parking to visit Cambridge.

Car parking charge is high and the layout of the bill was poor, the accommodation charge not shown and £39.90 charged for breakfast, an odd sum.

A brilliant one night stay.

A perfect one night stay, everything about our stay was perfect, location is perfect for wandering round the city during the day, and bars and restaurants at night. Fantastic hotel, we will return.

Great location, a very pleasant hotel but an expensive car park!

Great location and a very well presented hotel. Staff were friendly and efficient, comfortable bed and nice shower.

Had to pay £26 per night for parking, which isn’t made clear at time of booking. Multi - story car park option is close by though. We felt our Classic double room was a touch on the small side for the price paid.

Fun 1 day away with friends in Cambridge. Shame hotel was so expensive - I would not have minded if it was worth the ext

Location, comfortable beds.

Very expensive for a normal hotel- comparing other hotels recently stayed in. For the expensive price does not give anything extra. Small bathroom. Buffet breakfast where you have to get your own coffee and toast etc. Not a very relaxing bar area. Quite uncomfortable and waiter was very flustered. Had to pay extra service charge for each round for fluster.

A very nice short stay if a little expensive.

Very smart. with the convenience of EV Charging. Great position easy to reach the centre of Cambridge.

The room was quite small and there were few draws to keeps clothing in. we had to use our suitcases instead.

Breakfast was cold. The plates the food arrived on was cold, therefore the food was semi-warm when arrived but went cold very quickly
