Very beautiful and atmospheric building on the street connecting the centre of Portaria and the path of the Centaurs. The landlady was very welcoming and helpful and the breakfast experience was like being treated at someone's home. The front terrace has a very nice view, recommended for hanging out a bit in the evening!

The economy bedroom was perfect for what I needed and the bathroom was clean and bright. Mrs Litsa does not speak much English, but that doesn't keep her from being a fantastic host! Her breakfast is homemade and delicious.
Some lightbulbs used inside are too harsh and blue. Would suggest using warmer, dimmer lighting.

The hostess was warm and friendly she made us feel at home !
Our room was exactly as the photos on the site . We had a triple room which was vey comfortable !

Authentic guest house with great attention to detail. Owner super helpful, nothing was too much trouble, she even got us a soft drink my husband just mentioned. Complimentary lovely smelling greek bath basics and complimentary ouzo in the room. Fresh traditional home-baked breakfast and awesome jams and honey. Despite the fact that no A/C or window nets are allowed in Portaria we were given a fan which was a god-sent during the heat wave. The location was perfect in the town centre but just off the busy main road. We would absolutely recommend. We really didn't want to leave.
Limited parking space. There are several steps to carry luggage over in case this is something you d rather avoid .

The property is a beautiful old home that was converted to a bnb. It's a beautiful property, unique location right next to the town center and the Centaur's path (hiking). Also, the owners are exceptional with their hosting, philoxenia, knowledge of the area and breakfast they offer to all guests.

Authentic feel
No A/C (may not be a problem from Sept to June). Dogs barking nearby, and cars passing under window (if you keep windows closed may be ok)

Great location close to the village center, the owner Mrs Litsa was very kind and sweet, our room was very clean and the breakfast was delicious and homemade. Definitely recommended!!!
Plus, ask for the horse riding experience it is definitely worth it!
No air conditioning in the room but central heating was decent.
