The pool area was amazing and the views at the hotel are spectacular. It’s such a unique property.
Accessibility around the property was limited. There are stairs for everything. With rain it can be quite slippery. No AC in the rooms so you need to leave the sliding door open and use the fan. If you want to visit the town you have to take a taxi.

Good food and a nice restaurant
Pool in my room
A great bed room
Really friendly staff
It’s kinda expensive for what you got.

in our opinion it has not a lot in common with a spa hotel, we could not sleep because there was constant noise at night as the heating generators for the pool run all the time. also the rest is completely over prized. breakfast was stated at 440 $mxn, they wanted 700 $mxn for the brunch which was not really a hit

The facilities are beautiful, it makes you feel like you are in a real sanctuary. the view from the bedroom is so calming and even more enjoyable from your private pool inside the bedroom. The (climatized) pool area also nice.
many activities available to complement your stay, some free, others at a cost.
Food is ok but not great.

It's like heaven on earth
The wind in hallway kept making the door shake which sounded like someone's trying to break in

Food is really really good
Room is a bit run down...

so different, amazing
we should plan more time to enjoy it better
4.2
- amazing view from the rooms
- due the design of each room there is an open gap at the door between adjoining rooms. this means there is a lot of noise if your neighbours are noisy, as ours were for the entire stay
- food overprice
- very limited healthy food selection (disappointing for a spa)
- generally very noise from large groups or issues with the rooms. not a relaxful experience
- no English spoke with the staff

it’s very nice and relaxing place. The food quality and taste exceptional.
the sound proofing of the rooms it’s not the best. it can be improved.

the restaurant, the location and the personnel are really nice. people are attentive . the location has a great view to the lake. the food at the restaurant is really delicious, and it is presented very nicely.
the pools and rooms need maintenance. In our room the thing that protects you from the mosquitoes but it does not close well, so an animal came into our room and ate some bread we had there…

Everything was wonderful, the place, the people, the food. I want to come back.
nothing

the pool in the room, the view
the mail pool is not well maintained, its a expensive hotel to have such old and not well maintained facilities, towels with holes, it’s under construction and no one told us at 9 am we woke with hamers and construction noise it’s completely unacceptable!

The view to the lake is great.
The hotel is too noisy, normally it is expected that this is a place of peace and relaxation but in the contrary there are repairs in the hotel the whole time from every side and also noise from the street. Also from one room to the other you can hear everything, even the conversations as there is no real division among the rooms. The roof in front of the room was falling apart making a lot of noise and they took 2 days to “fix” it.
The pool at the room is not safe, due to no mantainace you can cut with the tiles inside that are quite sharp. The menu for room service and in the restaurant is too short, after 2-3 days you need something different. On top the prices at the bar and restaurant are way too high (even more expensive than in Europe), the value for money is really bad.
At first glance and in the pictures the hotel looks beautiful, but if you observe carefully there are a lot of misplaced nails everyone making it not safe for everyone especially not for children. So you hear hammer noices the whole time.
This hotel should be rated with 3 stars maximum, unfortunately prices are as of a 5 stars hotel.
Due to the noise we had complaint 9 time during 1 week, so the only offer we received was a free breakfast that at the end we never got.
