Nice and cozy place

I recommend to rent a cottage, which has everything you need. We also ordered a breakfast that was good enough. Swimming pool, jakuzzi were great. Nice place to stay and have some short relaxing time. We were lucky, the weather was sunny.

Nice place , be aware of poor staff and undisclosed charges.

Location

Been charged for bed linen and towels . There was no mention of it when it booked in on Booking.com. Ended up been charged twice for the stay , once by booing.com and then again by the Lodge. When trying to get a refund the staff at the Lodge didnt seem to know what to do . It was a week later when i realised on my credit card , I would have thought the Lodge should have realised there mistake before that and having to call them .

The pool area is really nice and the minigolf was really high standard. I would definetely recommend a trip to kosta lodge if you’re looking for a stay in the nature but still want access to facilities as restaurant, pool, fishing etc. We visited the moose park nearby. Also a great Experience.

Enough plates, knifes, glasses etc. in the cottage. The breakfast ended at 9.30 - a bit early for us who are slow morning starters.

Nice stay and pool, some rooms need an update

The family room had enough space for us and the beds and pillows where comfy. The breakfast was nice and had a good selection of breads, cold meats, cheese, yoghurt (with seeds, granola etc) fresh fruit and boiled eggs. There was also warm food such as scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages and meatballs. A waffle maker was also available. The pool (with 2 pools and 2 jacuzzis) area was very nice and there were enough sunbeds and chairs. No parasoles so difficult if you didn't want to be in sun all the time.

We stayed in a family room, it was very tired looking and obviously hadn't been updated since the '80's . The bathroom had a shower curtain, which I never think is particularly hygienic. We didn't eat in the restaurant in the evening as they only had a buffet available which didn't really look like it would suit us so cannot comment on the food.

A small oasis for rest, peace of mind, and natural beauty close to Kosta with swimming facility, bar, restaurant and very helpful staff. A good alternative to Kosta Art Hotel if you want to live in nature.

The internet did not funktion in the lodge at any time.

Super food. Amazing chef.

Nice food especially if you eat meat.. Really amazing chef. Super staff. Good location.

Budget room was ok but perhaps a bit on the expensive side.

Beautiful place

The rooms are fresh and clean. We loved the outdoors pools and jacuzzi. Good breakfast.

The dinner service was very slow.
