Sehr freundlichen deutschsprachiges Personal.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was fantastic. Nice location a short walk up from a long beach and there were many very good, affordable restaurants close by. We loved the hot thermal natural salt water pool. And we had a great sea view from our room and balcony. We were made to feel right at home. From the beach it was easy to catch a boat taxi to nearby villages.
Only criticism was the mattresses were quite hard in our room.

Lovely hotel close to Maronti Beach and bus stop to get to the port, towns, etc. Room was nice and comfortable - basic decor but fine with me! Breakfast was excellent. All staff - including breakfast and cleaning staff - were friendly and helpful. Nice bar. There is no restaurant or food served in the hotel but there are lots of beachfront restaurants and a small cafe bar/pizzeria nearby. As guests of La Mandorla we got discounts at Il Faro ‘stabilimente’ (beach club) and many of the other nearby restaurants which was great. Easy to get to Sant’Angelo by water taxi service from the beach nearby.
Nothing that had any real negative effect on our stay. The surroundings of the hotel are not as nice as the hotel grounds - there’s a car park and concrete paths - but it’s only a 2-minute walk to the beach so it’s not an issue. Shower was fairly small.

The room was very clean and had a nice balcony.
It was very close to the beach and very easy to get there!
Nice breakfast
The staff was super helpful!!!
We were 2 adults & 2 children and the room was too small for us (we took a room for 4).
The pool was very disappointing, very small and with hot water- some people might expect that in Thermal Ischia, but since it is was very hot outside it was not pleasant to be in the pool. Also there is an inside pool that is even warmer, so I think the e outside one should be cold.

What a discovery! La Mandorla hotel on Maronti beach was a perfect place to recover after our very active ferry hopping Amalfi coast trip. Family run, newly renovated La Mandorla has a boutique hotel quality to it.
The stuff is very welcoming and friendly. The whole family helps to run the hotel. They welcome everyone from young families to young couples, to retirees with dogs. Everything is very clean and lovingly maintained. AC worked very well and our rooms were made up daily.
It is only a 50m walk to a beautiful Maronti beach that offers a numerous choice of restaurants, beach clubs and bars. Also the N5 bus stop (to ischia port)is right near the hotel.
Overall the hotel has a wholesome and happy feel. We are definitely coming back.

Everything's simply amazing. The perfect place to spend some time in the marvellous Ischia. Room, facilities, a delicious breakfast and the location just in front of the best beach in Ischia. Plus staff is extremely kind and helpful for every need and request. I highly recommend!.

The location is perfect and sea view from the room is amazing.
If you make a reservation by booking, you don't get free entrance to the beach like other hotel clients.

Rich breakfast with a good variety of products including typical Ischia pastries, croissants, cheese and cold cuts. Vegetable milk available.

Absolutely beautiful location, really nice staff, highlight was the short walk to the beach (where the hotel gave us free bench vouchers) and then taking the water taxi to neighbouring beaches.
Our room was in the basement so we could sometimes hear the plumbing from the rooms above. Also the mattress was very uncomfortable which lead to waking up with a sore back. However, we only stayed there for one night and booked with only a few hours’ notice so it didn’t bother us that much.

Excellent location, right on the beach and near the bus station. Good breakfast and a nice area.
The towels need to be replaced - I have never seen towels like that. I didn't like the bathroom and the cleaning needs to be improved.

The proximity to Maronti beach is fantastic and the staff was amazing. Giovanni and the rest of the crew was the best part of the experience.
The room was quite small and worn out. We had misunderstood that we needed to pay 15 Euro per day to have access to sunbeds on the beach. Would have been nice with a super market within walking distance.

This is a lovely hotel if you're looking to be close to spiaggia dei maronti and a quick boat ride from Sant'Angelo. The staff was friendly and helpful. There are great restaurants and beaches nearby, and although the area is a bit secluded, there is a convenient bus stop very close to the hotel.
We loved it for the location and the staff, and everything was clean and reliable. This is a great hotel, but if you're looking for something super luxurious this may not be it. Also be aware that you'll need to pay extra for frills like air conditioning.
