Absolutely loved it here. Really nice and quiet, amazing view and great hosts. Highly recommend

The view is amazing. I would never review a bathroom but this one was spectacular!

・ビューポイントもあり眺めが圧倒的に素晴らしい・部屋の入口正面から朝日が登るのは気持ちが良い・満月の夜には日の入りとともに月が登り、水面を煌めく光の道が見える・崖の上の森の中にバンガローが位置しており自然の中にステイできる

・中心地から離れており、道中の道のりもやや厳しい。ただし道中のビューも絶景。・周辺には何もないためバイク移動必須・良くも悪くも家族経営の宿。高級ホテルのような行き届いたサービスは期待できない

Wunderschön gelegen

Die wunderschöne, ruhige Lage und das Zimmer, die gesamte Anlage ist toll, mitten in der Natur. Sehr sauberes Zimmer. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Etwas mehr Auswahl beim Frühstück wäre toll, z.B. frische Früchte

Pretty sketchy to be alone in the jungle at night. Lots of animal movement going on outside the bungalow. Pretty far from any civilization

Best Bungalow on Tao with amazing views

The view is amazing. They have wooden stairs in the rocks to climb down to the ocean. There is a snorkeling spot with lot's of fish and corals. The bungalow itself is quality, great balcony with hammock. The host is very polite and helpful with organizing trips or just having a good conversation. I stayed for 3 weeks at Moondance Magic. There is no better deal regarding quality and price to find on Koh Tao. Towels, fridge, shower soap included. I hope I can come back to this place :) thank you Chana and best regards!

very uncomfortable and not worth while the money spent

the view from reception

the staff were very poor and didn’t really know what they were doing when faced with a predicament. it was quite far away from anything and the staff used this to their advantage by charging more for taxi service than what was advertised

Peaceful Bungalow in quiet part of koh tao

Gorgeous location in a quiet part of the island. Friendly owners, honest prices!

Big gecko on my room.. But it's kind of expected in such remote Bungalows.

friendly and kind staffs beautiful view included breakfast

ways to go to this place and to each bungalow is hard and trippy to go only had one chir pretty many insects comes inside like ants, mosquitoes, cockroaches, moth and some flies

slightly further out of Koh Tao, but maybe that is why it is so special

Magic moment. Just an amazing place, feel like paradise. In middle of nature, with the sounds of birds and waves. Already miss this place. The guy from reception was very friendly as well. I recommended this Accomodation

Quite nice to have some time on you own!

I really enjoyed staying there. At first you are a little surprised cause it is literally at the end of the Island and quite off of everything else. But it is also nicely located within nature which makes it really nice. If you cannot rent a motorbike, the hosts will drive you around for 300BHT, which is quite convenient.

Far from the night life, which is great. Amazing view from the reception/breakfast area.

Would be nice to have a kettle in the room. Also, the hooks in the bathroom are needed.

The escape you deserve

Great, secluded location with awesome views (catch the sunrise at least once if you can). Super friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is nourishing. Th ac and fridge are incomparably quiet for Thailand (: excellent value for money overall.

Breakfast and dining options are quite limited, but okay as a backup option.

All in all it was a great experience. I recommend this place

Breakfasts and other offered food were tasty and in a location with an amazing view. The staff was friendly and helpful. Very close to nature. I had the feeling like I was living in a jungle. Rocky beach and all the resort were beautiful, neat and clean.

Transport was not easy and quite overpriced. The place is quite secluded. There was many empty bungalows but all the incomers vere stacked in the same area, so there was not much privacy.

Pleasant

The bungalow was very nice and the views were amazing

The location is the reason why the beautiful views are not NOT WORTH IT here. It is completely remote, up a hill with slopes. Indeed, we had to access our bungalow through long and steep stairs (and it took like 10 min to go from reception/breakfast to the bungalow). I’d would like to mention that we are active, adventurous people, but it would be too uncomfortable and annoying to stay more than one night here. We had to pay extra in order to get rides and all in all it got too pricy.

Beautiful view and location but you need to climb!

The locations is beautiful. Top view on the sea. the resort is divided between a low part where the restaurant is located (amazing view and terrace) and top on the hill where the bungalows are located. Friendly staff. bungalows are basic, Clean. Basic thai breakfast (different menus)

Between the restaurant/reception you need to climb a lot. For 2 days it’s ok, for much days it depends on you. the bungalows are really on the slopes. You need to rent a motorbike for sure to reach the village and the beaches. unfortunately on the windows there are not curtains….so if you like to sleep on the darkness, it’s not for you. the glasses are darkend but in the morning the light is strong!

Great views, too remote

Great snorkelling, 2 snorkels available to borrow from staff, amazing views everywhere, nice breakfast options, balcony & hammock on bungalows are great. Friendly staff, great snorkel trip bookable at reception, highly recommended. Free pick up from pier and staff can arrange shuttle & pick up to/from various places on the island.

Lots of steep hills between bungalow and reception/food area. Be prepared to walk a good distance. No bar, no real restaurant although meals are available. Everything closes around dark and staff disappear, so you can’t get a drink or food in the later evening. Room was never cleaned, no housekeeping.

Exhausting

It should be mentioned that the apartments are up a steep hill. From the breakfast and reception point you have to go up a very steep hill with many stairs for approx. 10 minutes. It was very exhausting to go up and down several times a day. Also, the doors of our apartment could be opened easily (even tho we locked them) with a good pull - so basically everyone could enter the apartment at any time… There were also no curtains at any of the windows in the apartments - everyone who goes up the trail to the apartments could directly look into the sleeping area, so there was no privacy at all. The bathroom/shower room was open at the top, at first we liked this because you could hear the animals outside - but in the morning we found squirrel poop everywhere in our bathroom - even in the bathroom sink!! There were no shower curtains leaving the whole bathroomfloor flooded after taking a shower - it didn’t even dry up to the next morning, so when using the toilet, you were always standing in a puddle. When leaving the room with the key, also the fridge power disconnects, leading everything in the fridge to spoil in your absence. There were a lot of mosquitos but no mystique net on the door/ windows or over the bed… the owner always seemed weird like he doesn‘t enjoy having guests around at all. We would not come back!

extremely relaxing and beautiful.

AMAZING view. Watch the sun rise from the ocean with not one person in sight. The bungalows are located at the end of the road which means no one really comes to this part of the island so it’s very quiet and relaxing. it’s built against the rock which keeps the bungalow cool naturally but there’s also aircon. There’s no holes or cracks in the bedroom so no animals can come in if you close the door properly. The reception with free breakfast has an even better view than the bungalow itself. There’s also a funny bird they keep there but I’ll let that be a surprise ;) Go visit this place even if it’s just for one night. You won’t regret it!

The bathroom does have some openings so there can be and gekko’s in there.

The staff have no limits to their kindness, bungalows are lovely and a view to match!

the staff are incredibly helpful, the man literally rode his bike behind us with most of our bags to help us transfer to our new hotel after our stay! He didn’t want any money, incredible kindness and experience! They are always happy to help, breakfast is lovely and the views are unbeatable:)

great view - less comfort

The bar at the cliff edge is really pretty, but closing at 20:00 which is understandable cause the moskitos will eat you up at sunset. There is a cool looking access to the sea down the cliff though snorkling is a bit dangerous cause the waves here are often strong and can push you to the rocks. Anyway the underwater world is pretty here. WiFi is basic but not stable so you have to try to open a page sometimes a few times. Reception offers cheap scooter taxi rides. I think it is okay for one night to stray here but it is not so comfy in my opinion.

The rooms are quite basic and up the hill so you think twice if you really want to walk up from the reception / bar. Cleaness can be improved. Beds are hard. Moskitos wait for you outside and they are hungry ;) The shuttle is only for free for when you arrive, return to the pier is to pay. The breakfast is very simple and basic, just toast and eggs, though the view is great.
