almost perfect

The apartments are a 10 minute walk from the hotel we cillected keys from. Fantastic views direct line of beach. The amazing roogtop pool area is pretty quiet and private a lot of the day. The only other person tthere was a guy with his dog who took over one pool entirely. Then there were a family with a few smaller children(5c 3yr-8 yr old who took over the other pool entirely. Even tbough there is a sign saying NO DOGS or children under 10 at the roof pool.

Apartment did not have any basic equipment, only two toalet papers in each bathroom. Everything had to buy from store in the first place - handsoap, dushsoap, dishwasher soap, washing machine soap etc. Basic stuff that should always be there as a standard.

NO Wi-Fi. Staff was not helpful. We won't recommend.

We had to pick up the apartment key at a hotel about a kilometer away, and put a 300 Euro damage deposit. We were given two sets of key and no other assistance. This “luxury apartment” does not have Wi-Fi and has NO internet. Which in 2022 is hard to imagine. Hotel reception told us to use the unsecured public beach Wi-Fi. We tried to connect, but had no success. Upon arrival to the apartment, it was very hot. We opened the door to the balcony to try to get some breeze. The temperature was 32 C+ and humid. The balcony sliding door was not an ordinary sliding door. We were not able to close it, then called several times hotel reception, but we got no assistance, other than sometime next day a maintenance person would attend. Reception was not able to tell us how to close the balcony door, nor program the AC. There were no instructions at all. The AC does NOT run unless all doors are fully closed. The AC control is also very complex, and needs to be programmed for each day and each hour of the week. It is not a typical AC control: heat or cool, temperature, and fan speed. The AC was not programmed. By 10:30 the next morning finally a maintenance person showed up to close the door, but we never saw the AC working. As a consequence of these problems, we had to book another hotel at 05:00. We checked out by 11 am the very next morning, because our 4 year old daughter could not sleep and was very uncomfortable . The maintenance person did confirm that there was no damage to the apartment and both sets of keys were returned. We are still awaiting confirmation that they have credited back the damage refund. So far, they have not refunded for nights not used (only one night should be charged). Never got to use anything in the apartment. Our experience at the Palmas 7 apartment, was the very low point of our holiday, which wasted a whole day our vacation, and very stressful. The rest of our holiday was fantastic. We definitely DO NOT recommend this apartment.

Nice accommodation, great location and overall I would recommend to others but it needs to be cleaned properly.

The top floor apartment had great views, apartment building directly opposite Platja de Ponent beach which was lovely. The apartment is modern in style and has a very open plan aspect. Room sizes were good. Well equipped kitchen with both washing machine and tumble dryer.

The floors were not washed before we arrived. There was no vacuum cleaner so we had to use a hand held dust pan and brush to sweep floors which is ridiculous! I mopped the floors clean myself and everyone’s feet and socks were literally black with dirt. Not good considering the high price we paid for this accommodation. The other thing which we did not like was the fact that the children’s bedroom had no bedside table or lamp. This is needed for future guests. The apartment should also have operating instructions for things like air conditioning, hob, microwave etc. No instructions or helpful information were provided.

Spent a fortune on general kitchen cleaning products..ie Kitchen Spray/Anti bac,washing up liquid,washing clothes tabs,liquid hand soap,would have loved a teatowel and a hoover,we did sweep and mop floors everyday.Left all these products behind wouldn't have minded paying extra for necessities instead of wasting them so kitchen welcome basket could be reviewed

Great location, amazing views

The location is superb, quiet area within 15 mins walk of lively bars and entertainment. Supermarket 10 minuite walk away. Beautiful beach is literally on your doorstep and roof pool is great with amazing views. Kitchen well equipped with all you need. Apartment was spotless, cannot fault. Clear communication prior to arrival meant we knew where to pick up the keys which is a 15 min walk from the apartment. Great value for the time of year. As you have to leave the apartment clean more cleaning materials should be provided, very wasteful to have to buy these to throw away when leaving. Did not bother us to much but the addition of a hair dryer and WiFi would be brilliant.

Great location,great size of flat. Pool amazing on roof. A real gem. Shower was amazing as was the jacuzzi bath. Would stay again.

The kitchen was poorly equipped and no kettle. Heavy smell of smoke in apartment which required 2/3 days of us being in apartment and letting air flow to rid. These sadly let down the apartment otherwise a gem.

Check in with Hotel Aragon was very straightforward and the hostess were very kind. We had a very good stay. Views are perfect, it is calm and the surroundings are convenient for a family trip to Tarragona.

Superb

Clean, modern apartment with an amazing view of the sea. Great balcony and windows in which to take in the amazing views. Friendly staff and cleaner was very nice and helpful when checking out.

No Wifi. What hotels/apartments don't provide Wifi in this day and age?? Having to collect the keys at the Hotel reception. This was an inconvenience and added time to our commute. We had to walk to hotel from bus stop, wait 20 mins at reception then walk another 20 minutes to apartment. Having to pay a €300 deposit after paying for the stay up front at arrival. This added an expense onto the holiday. Also, there was the concern that we might not get it back if apartment was not left clean enough. Added a bit of stress to holiday

disappointing experience in modern flat, in front of the seaside.

The view from the balcony was amazing as the flat is located just in front of the beach (We had a 4th floor apartment). The area surrounding the flat is calm and parking is easy in winter. The quality of the household appliance is very high. All the kitchen is equipped with Siemens devices (fridge, dishwasher, oven etc). The two ladies at the reception were very helpful and tried to provide solutions to the issues that we faced. The communication was easy and fluid.

Compared with other apartments that we rented during the last few months our expectations were not met and we felt disappointed. Additionally, reading the comments left by other guests, it seems that these were well known issues that were not improved, yet Here our remarks: The heating was stopping 2-3 times per night. Since it was winter (with 5 degrees outside, it was quite annoying). The heating was not only turning off, but the fuses disconnected every time. We checked the windows to be close as instructed, but it was not the reason of the blockage. We mentioned this issue to the management who replied that it was a known problem, and it was caused by the electric company. However, we consider this answer a bit awkward because only the fuses of the hearing were disconnected and not the one of the whole apartment. The Jacuzzi (hot tub) was not working when we arrived. The bubble device was broken. This issue was promptly solved the next morning when a technician came to fix it. The equipment and amenities in the apartment is too scarce, and insufficient for a long stay. Considering that 300 euros of deposit is required for covering any damage, one would expect a full equipped apartment. Instead, compared to other apartments that we rent, we missed many day-to-day objects such as: dish drainer, kitchen rags, salad bowl, cereal bowl, garbage bags, toothbrush container, shower carpet, oven mitts. Considering that it was COVID period, some samples of soap would be important for hygiene. The soap was missing both for the kitchen and the bath. Only a very thin bed coverlet was provided. Considering the heating issues, it was not sufficient during winter. Despite the beautiful and modern flat, I believe that other flats offer better conditions for the same price. I believe that given the luxury style of the apartment, the owner could fix this issues with a very low investment and with little effort.

The location is great, not far from Salou and a cycle ride from Cambrils. The view from the flat is wonderful.

It was not clear that we had to collect the keys from a hotel at a different location 500m away. The staff at the hotel, two women were immensely rude. We had to sign a contract to say we would leave the flat as we found it or there would be a €100 fine and at present 14 hours after leaving the property haven’t had the €300 deposit back even though we left it impeccably. The flat smelt of sewers but that could have been due to the flooding they’d had in the area. There was no soap in the bathrooms or the kitchen. No cloths in the kitchen so cleaning up was very difficult. There were little creatures in shower room. We renamed the second bedroom the cell, very unimaginative decor, it wouldn’t take much to cheer up this small room. The beds weren’t really made only laid with a sheet over the mattress and left with over sheets which were clean and folded. There were two fleece blankets in the wardrobes but 1 definitely was not freshly washed. The hot water didn’t last for 3 people to shower let alone 4.
