Very kind and welcoming hosts. The room was clean and cozy, breakfast was really good as well. The location was perfect if you visit Scotland by car. Besides the cozy room and the delicious breakfast (you have to try the porridge!) they have such a cute dog, we loved it! Def. would book again :)

The rooms and facilities are clean and comfortable. On top of that, Steve and Cathy are very kind, arranging and considerate hosts.
The property is not directly in the city centre, you have to walk 15 minutes to get to the bus station, restaurants, shops.. Also, we would have liked an even more environmentally concerned hotel, with less single-use things, less sheets and towels to wash etc.

Everything, the cleanest facility we have ever been to. Welcoming hosts, excellent position to climb Ben Nevis, great breakfast.

We loved everything about our stay. The room was really comfortable and we were in the most perfect location for the Ben Nevis climb as well as enjoying the town of Fort William.
nothing.

Location was good with private parking spaces. The room was serviced every morning, the host was very helpful. I would definitely book this again.

This was a great base for our recent climb of Ben Nevis. The hosts were unbelievable - from the moment we arrived till we departed, Cathy honestly couldn’t do enough for us, she gave such a warm welcome, was very attentive at breakfast and seemed to know everything about the surrounding area including great top tips for structuring the rest of our trip. The breakfast which was included was outstanding, all bases were covered in terms of cooked breakfast, porridge, continental items, fresh fruit, yogurts and cereal etc. What really topped it off was the cafetière of fresh coffee every morning and the incredible packed lunches - thank you, Steve!!

An outstanding, exceptional, guest house. My room was superb. Steve and Cathy were brilliant. They went the extra mile.
The location is great. It's at the start of the Glen, so although there are vehicles heading to and from the Ben Nevis visitor centre it's nothing like the busy main road in Fort William centre. Indeed, if you want to walk around Glen Nevis, including the Ben itself, this is a great spot.
I would stay here again like a shot! The best guest house I've ever stayed in.

The warm welcome we got, the location and the food and the room. We booked a small double but I wouldn't consider it small at all. The bed was comfortable and there were bedside cabinets somewhere to hand your clothes and a dressing table. There was also ample sockets and a lovely little ensuite. The room was clean and the hospitality tray had all the little goodies you need for a nice hot drink and a biscuit. I would highly recommend this guest house for those of you coming to Fort William it is close to Ben Nevis and also the centre. It was great value for money for what you get.
There is nothing to dislike about this guest house as it was 5 stars in my opinion.

The owners Steve & Cathy were super friendly & nothing was too much bother. They made us very welcome on arrival & showed us to our room. It was very comfortable & immaculately clean,as was the bathroom. It had lovely toiletries for us to use which we did, especially the bath soak as we'd climbed Ben Nevis!
The food was amazing, great breakfasts with plenty of choice.
The hotel was near the centre of Fort William with plenty of amenities.
The owners even rung to make us a reservation for dinner on our first night.
Can't rate this great place high enough, just wished we could have stayed longer,a definite return needed soon!
Nothing,everything perfect.

Very nice couple who run this place. Great base for climbing Ben Nevis . The venue spot on.
I would definitely return
Very hard to criticise if I was to nit pick 2 eggs at breakfast instead of 1? However there was stacks of breakfast food on top like porridge fruit etc

Everything was exceptional and we had a fantastic stay with Cathy and Steve at Ben Nevis Guest House.

The guest house is a 10 minute walk from the train station and conveniently located close to the city centre. Steve and Cathy are very gracious hosts who run a tight ship. The hotel is very clean and very hospitable. I would highly recommend this place.

Big room with a modern en-suite, on-site car park, 10min walk from shops and restaurants, right on the NC500.

I stayed two nights and did the Ben Nevis hike. The location is the best - just few minutes from the trail start. Because I was getting on the road early in the morning, the staff made me a package with food so that I dont miss the breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom had both shower and a bathtub so you could relax after hiking. The breakfast was simply amazing!

Good location not far from centre, close to access for Ben Nevis. Comfy bed, great facilities, good breakfast. Helpful owners. Domino the dog was cute as a button
Being charged £10 to change my stay dates die to weather.
