Great pool and nice rooms

The room was very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The pool was really nice. The location is good. It's close to the beach and there are a lot of restaurants close by. The rooms are spacious, the bed was really comfortable. Also, there's a mini fridge in the room which we appreciated.

We didn't like the breakfast so much. It was not seasoned well and tasted more like reheated than fresh. Also we didn't appreciate that they mowed the lawn on Friday morning which was very noisy. I am sure there'd be a better time for that.

Agradable, tranquilo.

Agradable ambiente en la piscina, comida muy rica y bien servida en restaurante, personal atento, servicial y sonriente.

Hubo qué cambiar 2 veces habitación x falta de agua caliente, terrible. La pecera de la entrada sucia y con mal olor. Platos y restos de comida botados en el bar de la piscina toda la noche y gran parte de la mañana del martes.

Big pool area, delicious pineapple juice at the restaurant

They did not serve breakfast to our 2 y.o child - this felt strange, we had to ask for at least an extra fruit bowl for her, and otherwise bring our own food

Giant resort hotel with everything in place for a great stay for many people, empty when I was there mid week. Great ping pong tournament area. Great pool, restaurant. Great value at the mid week low price I received.

Not what we expected

NOTHING!!!!

Worst stayed ever!!! Nithung like the pictures. Old and needs a lot of repairs. We had book for 2 nights and only stayed for 1 and that was because we were to tired to look for another place. Children didnt want to sleep there but I convinced them it was only for 1 night. Didnt feel safe and it was just old and not well kept. I'm asking for a refund for the second night.

Very good

Old school Costa Rican flavour and decor, with a hearty American or Typical breakfast included. Mexican restaurant has wonderful wood fired pizza, nice staff and daily drink/food specials. Comfortable pool chair pads and shade available.

4 block walk from strip, cooler under trees across the street. Has all the good bones of a great hotel 20 years ago, but needs a major uplift. Good if ur ok with cheap and cheerful.

Exceptional

The breakfast is really good and the staff is really pleasent. The restourant up front offers a delicious selection. I noticed a lot of locals come here to pick up their food, so you know it is good. Also, you can order from the restourant to your room so you can wait in your room if you prefer. If nothing else, come here for the food it is that good! You can also book a massage.

Can get too loud by the poolside, if you are looking to rest, it might wake you up in your room.

the whole atmosphere when you walk in the garden area is nice

very old rooms, old furniture, terrible bathroom quality, broken things, damaged furniture in the bathroom, dirt on the walls, drain was clogged very poor breakfast, also my friend went back a second time to ask some more eggs from the buffet, and the server lady simply told him “no” without proper explanation the toilet by the reception was also clogged and terrible the idea of the the whole hotel is good, but everything is very outdated and disappointing. it is time to invest the guests money into some renovations. big time.

Very good

this was an enjoyable stay. our kids LOVED the pool and the fish/turtle pond. we had a wonderful balcony with a vew of the pool. the breakfast was included and was very good. typical costa rican breakfast plus some typical american breakfast items. the staff were very friendly and kept our room so clean.

the beds are pretty hard. if you like a firm bed theb you'll be fine. it was pretty loud next to the pool with the music but that seems to really just be on the weekends. its a bit of a walk to the beach (10 mins) but we spent most of our time at the pool anyways.

I’m writing this only because I want the owners of those hotels will be really care about American, or tourist or people

The hotel is the price for deposit money cash and I didn’t have it. It was not clean the noise from the AC. The towels very old the smell was horrible in the room. They didn’t care about the customers they care only about the money they make the breakfast was really bad.

Expect 2 star quality

The breakfast was good, choice of American or typical and fruit, the rooms were clean, the housekeeping staff was very friendly. Saw scarlet macaws in the trees in the property, the kids liked the turtles they had on site

So many issues! Loud music from the pool area, awful karaoke until after 10pm, you have to ask the front counter staff for towels for the pool or supplies to play pool/ping pong and the table games were all ancient and broken. The fridge wasn’t working, they brought a new one up ( at least that’s good) but didn’t realize that the new one wasn’t working either- turns out it was the outlet. You’d think a maintenance person would realize the fridge isn’t humming. The pool looks nice, but the paint rubs off on your skin if you lean on it. I got some cocktails at the swim up bar and got a virgin cocktail for my kid, they charged exact same price. I complained the bartender didn’t give a crap, shrugged that’s just the price. The pool side chairs are wooden uncomfortable and the alto was folding plastic chairs. The bathroom tiny, towel rack falling off, no toilet paper roll holder, shower shelf falling off. This is not 4 stars and not worth the money I paid. I see on their Facebook page they offer way cheaper rates (100$ for 2 nights) to locals. It was all locals there

Great place to stay if you have kids and a budget.

Staff were really great! We loved the pool area! Drinks were good. Lounge chairs uncomfortable but just bring a cushion from your room. We had an excellent price for two villas for nine people. Rooms were outdated but for the price we were ok with that. Good air conditioning. Excellent breakfast right on site.

Pleasant

It was clean and you could easily walk to the main road and beach. It has a basketball/ football court, playground for kids, slide etc.

It probably was a great hotel 10 years ago. Everything is really old. At the pool was really loud music all day. You feel like in a club but the music always repeats itself. I don't mind music but it was defenetly to loud.
