For basic accommodation close to the action it fits the bill,

Location was great, right in the centre of the old town with everything you need within walking distance including the beaches. The host Umberto was friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and spacious for luggage etc and the showers etc were a good size

The beds mattress were rock hard and the pillows were memory foam, so not very comfortable at all. The towels had seen better days so could do with being replaced as they were very rough and thin. The stairs up to the top floor are quite large so avoid if you have any issues with navigating stairs. The first couple of flights are ok and easy to navigate. Some rooms are a little noisy facing the Main Street but if you close the shutters it not only helps keep the room cool but also drowns out the noise a little.

Very special memories made here, we will definitely return.

Location, our rooms, breakfast, fabulous staff. Above all the wonderful hospitality that was shown to us and all the other guests here by the Fabulous Umberto. He made us feel as we were staying in his home. Close to everything, the views, and beach amazing.

We loved everything, we didn’t like that we had to leave.

Amazing location and very kind host

Incredible location right around the corner from the most amazing views in the heart of the historic centre. The building itself is very charming. Umberto the host is very welcoming and goes out of his way to help you - thank you!

Got a bit cold at night as it’s a historic building, so I had to put the heater on, which helped.

Exceptional

Nuncia and Umberto were both very kind. Umberto upgraded us to a much better room at no extra cost and without being asked and Nuncia gave us free coffees in the morning with a big smile! Very hospitable and highly recommended.

Steep stairs to top room but worth it when you get there! Wi-Fi not very steady at top but sorted itself out in the end.

Good

We were in the large room separate from the rest of the accommodation. It was very spacious and an incredible space. We received very friendly and helpful service, a warm welcome.

The accommodation felt quite tired and a bit rough around the edges. It could really do with a bit if a refresh to make the facilities match the level of service, which I could not fault. The access to our accommodation was also through a courtyard covered in pigeon poo, which was not a nice entrance, although probably out of the accommodation's control.

warm welcoming in a traditional stone building transformed into a bed and breakfast.

Beautiful ,rustic, traditional Tropea stone building in the center of town. Umberto, Núncia and Gloria were such attentive hosts; Umberto even sought out a special local pastry for me when i requested to try one! the breakfast was varied and generous.

try to get a room off the street, as it is quite noisy at night.

Very warm welcome from hosts - they were incredible accomodating, warm and hospitable. Beautifully appointed room and fantastic location in the centre of Tropea old town. Could not recommend more, I will definitely be back and recommend to family/friends!

It would be great if instructions could be provided around how to lock the door and turn on hot water.

Perfect location and host!

Host was very helpful and friendly and the location is superb - in the historical center. Accommodation helps to arrange the private parking (bit cheaper than on the public parking) or you can try to get a white-marked parking in the city for free. Room was huge with comfy bed.

Wifi signal. It's understandable, that such a historical buildings have a thick walls and the signal is not so strong, but anyway it was pitty since it was required for our work-related needs.

Perfect

Everything was wonderful. The location is very central, surrounded by the best restaurants, 2 steps from the beach. The guest was very nice, trying to fulfill all our needs. Highly recommended !!!

Wonderful central (but peacefully quiet) hotel in the heart of Tropea’s old town

Wonderful hotel in the very heart of Tropea old town. The location is so central but also tucked behind a side street so also really peaceful and quiet at the same time. The hosts, Matilda and Mario, were kind enough to let us check in early and gave us coffees and croissants while they took our bags upstairs. The room (Superior Double) was enormous with four Juliet balconies, one that allowed us to peek out and get a view of the sea. We’d love to stay again in the future.
